I took three deep breaths when I got to the door of Xavier’s home, my heart was beating wildly in my chest and I have never been so scared in my entire life, maybe I have. I knocked on the door quietly as if I didn’t want anyone to open it for me, I knocked again and this time someone came to open it for me. It was Jax, I was so happy he was not dead, he widened his eyes he was probably wondering why I was knocking from here and not from the door of hell.

Jax pushed me outside and shut the door behind him, “My queen what are you doing here”

“I am here to see Xavier, is he in”

“He is going to kill me I just know it” I squinted in the darkness, he had bruises on his face, WHAT THE FUCK, was Xavier hitting him because of me?

“Yes he is, please just go you can’t be here” I rolled my eyes and walked into the house then half ran up the stairs, I was kind of excited to see Xavier after all these months, but then I gripped the railing when I remembered what he has done to me. I walked slowly up the stairs, I didn’t want to seem too eager.

Just as I got to the door I took a deep breath and opened it slowly, well that was not the sight I expected to see, I saw the room was still very neat and he was not acting so troubled. It is almost like he knew I was coming back. The inconceivable ego of this demon, I heard the shower running, he was having a shower then, obviously. I sat on the bed and pulled off my shoes from my leg, they were hurting like hell. I rubbed my feet slowly, then I heard the water stop running, Xavier walked out of the shower with a towel around his waist and one on his face wiping the water away.

“Hey” I whispered and he jumped slightly

“Winter”

“Xavier you didn’t even try to look for me” he rolled his eyes and walked into the closet and later returned with boxer shorts hanging low on his waist

“Winter you ran away from me”

“Only because you were going to starve me to death, only because you were going to end up killing all my friends only because you have killed two people I love”

“Alec is dead” that is not what I wanted to hear, but I kinda expected it I mean there was no possible way that he could survive that.

“I know that. My father is alive” I deadpanned

“Good for you, now tell me, baby girl, where the hell were you”

“I was with a friend in your kingdom”

“Lucifer help me if it is Meredith you are talking about” he seethed through his teeth angrily

“It is and she took care of me and told me exactly what kind of monster you are not that I did not know that already, you are a monster”

“Winter, I told you that she is dangerous”

“NO, you are dangerous”

“Then why did you come back?”

“Because hell will wither with Meredith in it if I do not become the queen you know that I thought you loved me,” I said

“I do love you,” he said

“If you did you would have come to find me the moment I broke that pixie light”

“I knew you would come back so what was the point”

“Xavier” my lips quivered “the Xavier I know is not this heartless,”

He rolled his eyes “oh you are the victim the Winter I know won’t leave me, the winter I know won’t sleep with another man while I suffer it, my parents insulted me because of you, I smell him on you Winter you had sex with someone else and your mind is not denying it either"

“I was not going to wait for you to come to find me” he shook his head, I cannot believe I am going to do this, but he has to marry me so I will just have to act till they get that knife through his chest. I got off the bed and walked to him and looked at him.

“Xavier, I am very sorry” I trailed my hand down his stomach towards the band on his boxers when he stopped me.

“Winter, go to bed” he pulled my hand away from him and walked past me out of the room, why is he that it takes so long for him to yield to my seduction. you are going to have to try harder.

I walked into the bathroom to have a quick shower, the shower was a short hot one and I really missed hot water, I didn’t think I would miss it so much after so many months. I walked into the closet and put on my garter belt and a pair of the sexiest black lingerie my wardrobe held. I put on a black dress and matching pumps. I got out of the closet and went to check myself out in the mirror, I think I might actually pull this off. After styling my hair and wearing jewelry I started getting the room in the mood for a strip show, why? because I need Xavier back in love with me so that he would marry me.

I opened the curtains quickly then turned the bedside lamp on and the lights off.
