Xavier pulled me harshly by the arm till we got to the doors, he thought it would hurt me, but my mind and heart were on more important pressing matters, honestly, I was blinking continuously trying to imagine the fact that two of my best friends were gone like that because of... because of ME. I looked back for the one-hundredth time hoping to see my father running after us with normal father was dead and I was probably going to be dead in a moment or two if I didn't sit down.

My plan was failproof, I thought it was. He had a boner and he was wrapped with a blanket and he had his hands and his legs cuffed, HOW. I was pulled into the dark void that was the passageway to earth. Xavier and I finally reached the third door.

He pulled me into the basement and slammed the door with a loud bang, then he led me to the attached room where he was whipping Jax that day. Is he going to whip me? He pulled me to where the chains were and held my right hand pressing it into the cuff. there were spikes in it.

I screamed and tears slipped down my eyes

“Winter I love you and you are making me do these things to you” he clasped it around my wrist and took the other hand pressing it into the handcuff. My eyes tightened at the pinch.

“Why?” he clasped “baby tell me why”

“Xavier please, don't do this” I begged, I did not want to be locked up here, I did not want to sleep in his bed tonight either but he could lock me anywhere but here.

“You are staying here until you learn that you cannot fool me If I don't how in the world would you ever learn?” he walked out of the room and slammed the door behind him. There was nothing but air and darkness in the room I was looking at pitch black, I rattled at the chains and it sent a slightly violent shock through my body.

“I don’t know how long I have been in here for, but it has been a long time. Xavier has not come down once for anything and I am starving, thirsty and tired. Every time I tried getting an ounce of sleep I would move too much and the chains around my eyes will send a violent shock throughout my body. I kept wondering what could have taken over Xavier so quickly

Kachi’s point of view

“Zoe, Winter has not come to school for three days now do you know where she is?” Alec asked,

“No, I went Xavier’s yesterday and he said she hadn’t come home from school yet” she replied “I am starting to think he did something to her”

“Yeah me too, I am very worried. How are you with the whole Chloe thing”

“Please don’t remind me, my mom won’t even let me miss a day of school and I am stressed out. I cannot lose two best friends it isn’t possible”

“How about I go and do some snooping around, I just need to see if he is keeping her hostage”

“Should I come with?”

“It might be dangerous”

“I can handle danger”

“Don’t worry about it, Xavier is shady and weird and only God knows what he has under his sleeve” Alec said with his eyebrows pressed together, yes ONLY GOD KNOWS

“You think he had something to do with my sister’s death, I mean he was nice and all but Winter has been acting strangely if you have noticed and it started when she met him, she said he was royalty but when I checked him on google it showed multiple identities under his face, I mean, that's shady”

"You know his surname?"

"Well, no but there were pictures of someone that looked exactly like him but get this, they are all supposed to be dead by now" Zoe whispered

"What?"

"Some of the pictures were in black and white and he was always some wealthy merchant of some sort"

"I mean reincarnation right"

"Yeah maybe, if it happens multiple times"

"Look you are creeping me out, Zoey, just shut up" Zoe laughed

"Be careful"

“Yeah, of course, I will tell you what I find out when I get back" Zoe nodded.

Alec walked into the house, he was glad that the door did not make any noise, he looked around the black and white beautifully decorated mansion. He walked further into the house, he was confused as to why the door was left open, little did he know it was Xavier's plan.

The door slammed behind him and he jumped slightly looking back, when he looked forward he saw Xavier standing there crossing his arms, he jumped again.

"Where you going to scream 'HELLO' and wait for it to echo back or I did a good job by keeping an eye on my opened front door I was going to kill you before you looked back"

"What?" he whispered breathily

"I am kidding,"

"I didn't mean to intrude"

"Oh yes you did mean to intrude, because if you didn't mean to intrude then you wouldn't have walked into my house and intruded"

"That's a lot of use of the verb intrude, how did you close the door? I didn't close the door"

"Because you wanted your intruding to be slick, I didn't close it, it was a harsh gust of wind"

"I suppose the wind exist in your house then because your door is on the inside"

"Are you trying to make me feel foolish"

"NO, Not at all"

"Why are you here, I know why, I just want you to say it"

"Well"

"Scratch that, do you want to see a magic trick Alec"

"How... the... hell... do...you know...my name"

"Your girlfriend" Xavier replied

"Winter?"

"OH she is your girlfriend"

"She is not my girlfriend"

"Good, I will ask again do you want to see a magic trick" Xavier plucked a napkin out of nowhere

"A magic trick, how did you..."

"You are not a baby are you, don't you know a magician never reveals his secrets"

"I feel like you are messing with me"

"Oh brother, I will show you anyway" he used his black magic to yank Alec towards him, "listen, because I will tell you once if you keep on looking for Winter her I will do something bad to you"

"So you did kill Chloe"

"I never said that, but that doesn't mean you are not correct" Xavier smirked a

"Where is Winter? what did you do to her?"

"Nothing, well I have done things to her, that you could never do"Alec raised his eyebrow "Don't give me that look like you don't dream to sleep with her, don't pretend that you don't jerk off while moaning her name in the dead of the night"

"The fact that you know that scares me" Xavier laughed "I knew you were a bad guy all along"

"I am not a bad guy, I am THE bad guy"

"I wonder why you are still holding my shoulders" Alec pointed out

"I want to rape you silly"

“Dude, get your hands off me, you are sick and you may just be a psycho of a great magician. Where the hell is Winter?”

“What makes you think she is here?”

“She lives here” Alec seethed through his teeth

"Oh that's true, well she is not here,"

"The problem is, I don't believe you"

“So she is here,"

"I am going to find her and you are going to stay right here while I do that”

“Okay,” Alec gave him a once over at his easy response then stormed past him. He opened the first door and saw Xavier standing there.

“Find her yet?”

“What the hell... you were just... downstairs”

“Magician” Alec breathed out and slammed the door in his face then to the next room he went.

“Is she in here” he slammed the door, in his head he thought there were just doors adjoining the rooms. The same thing happened for the next few rooms he went to. He went down the stairs to the kitchen to check.

“She is not here”

“How are you still doing that?”

“I am a magician”

"NO, You are not a magician, you are something else and I will think about what when I find Winter"

"Your words hurt me, how can you say I am not a magician"

"Because you shut the door behind me whilst standing at the other side of the room, you plucked a napkin out of thin air, you pulled me to you without a rope and YOU ARE FOLLOWING ME THROUGH EVERY ROOM"

“So I am too good to be a magician"

"Yes, where is Winter"

“For the compliment, she is in the basement” Alec narrowed his eyes and stormed off in search of the basement, Xavier pulled him back with magic

"Where are you going"

"Is the basement not that way?"

"No, it's on the pathway to hell" Alec heard Xavier's voice darken, and before he could look Xavier cracked Alec’s neck rather harshly and he slumped on the floor.

“That ought to teach you a lesson when someone pulls you without a rope, you run"
