“Camari who is going to give me away?” I asked

“Weddings here are different from weddings on earth, you give yourself away” she patted my bareback.

"I am nervous" I pressed my hand to my chest "What if something goes wrong?"

"Relax" A knock came on the door, Camari went to answer it,

“It is time” my heart suddenly started beating faster, I got up from the bed and walked out of the room, there was a man standing there, he reminded me so much of Cristiano Ronaldo and I don’t know why. I took his hand because it was outstretched towards me and he led me to the door of the ballroom.

I came to a halt in front of the door and then I heard the wedding number start to play, the door was opened to me and I stepped slowly into the hall. Okay just walk down the stairs Xavier is waiting for you down there, yes he is. I smiled to myself at his voice in my head, I started walking down the stairs one foot in front of the other. Xavier was standing, waiting for me at the far end, he gave me a look of reassurance.

I finally got to him and I just took a sigh of relief thanking Lucifer that I didn’t fall to my face like I normally would have.

I smiled at him, “You look...” he trailed on "beautiful, there are no other words"

“You look handsome, Xavier”

The ceremony began, the wedding was almost like Christian weddings, there was an exchange of rings and the other things in the wedding then it got kind of intense.

“Winter hold out your hand” I did as was told then a dagger was placed on my hand, seriously I felt like I was missing something.

They dragged it slowly and deeply across my palm.

“Oh my g.... goodness” I screamed, then my blood was literally pouring into a goblet, I was going to faint. Xavier's hand flew to my back and suddenly the pain was gone, I looked at him and he smiled.

“Xavier, hold out your hand” Xavier did just that and the same thing that happened to him happened to us. I was given the goblet of our blood mixed together.

“Give it to Xavier to drink, Xavier, do not drink it all for you will be drinking the years of your union by yourself if you do” I handed it to Xavier and he drank out of it, I swear I almost gagged, no I gagged.

“Now Xavier give to Winter to drink and she must drink all of it” he gave it to me and I placed my lips on the cup then downed it. That was disgustingly sweet. I licked my lips. I dropped the goblet.

“Winter, take Xavier’s hands and close your eyes” I turned to him and did that. Suddenly there was a draft and loud chanting of spells. When the draft ended I opened my eyes, what just happened. I looked at my hand the injury was starting to heal on its own.

“You are a demon now” Xavier whispered, that was easy. I thought I would have to write my name down or something.

"It was that easy, you could've done it"

"I could've but I wasn't going to force you to drink my blood"

“It is time for the sacrifice to keep your marriage ever-fresh” I looked back and saw a child being led into the hall.

“What is going on? Xavier” I tried to walk towards the girl but Xavier held my hand tightly, I looked at him with wide eyes. "let me go" I struggled against him but he held my hand tighter.

“I am so sorry” he shook his head

“Xavier, stop this, NOW” I yelled and looked at the little girl, she had big blue eyes that were begging me to save her.

A man placed a knife under the girl’s chin, I can’t watch. I looked away. I looked again and saw the girl lying lifeless on the floor. I could not believe Xavier would do such a thing. I pulled my hand out of Xavier's

“Kneel” I took one last glance at the girl then knelt before lucifer. There was a skull bowl brought with the girl’s blood in it. A cross was marked on Xavier’s head then one was marked on my head.

“You may go to the mirror garden” Xavier led me to a door I had never seen before, he opened the door and walked in first, I followed him in but he wasn’t there anymore. Wait what is going on, you must look for him with his reflection.

I saw Xavier’s reflection in one of the mirrors, I ran to it but he wasn’t there, I looked around, his reflection was everywhere.

“Xavier where are you?”

“I don’t know, find me” the heels were starting to kill my feet, I pulled them off and tossed them aside. Grabbing the skirt of my dress I started running around the mirror room, I heard yelling. That was what I was forgetting. Meredith made a portal for the priests so they could get to me here and kill Xavier, I forgot that they were coming today.

I needed to find Xavier with immediate effect, I started running faster.

“Get away from me,” Xavier said, he was still fighting but how long before they succeeded in stabbing him, after all, he was not with any weapon I ran around, there was a sound of grunting and thumping. I followed the sound and saw Xavier fighting a whole army of men, that was hardly fair. How do I find the golden dagger now? I tried my best to fight them off with Xavier, but we were outnumbered even after I succeeded in breaking eleven guys’ necks. Xavier moved backward, the golden dagger was raised to him. I just couldn’t bear to see him die, too many people had died because of me. Just as the guy was about to stab Xavier I ran to him and absorbed it for him through my back. I realized that I was no longer human and the dagger was made to permanently end demons. UH OH, this is not good.

I saw the guys start to retreat through my blurry vision, I guess it is actually bad luck to see the groom before the wedding. I was starting to think this was some kind of prophecy, you are starting to think, it's useless now.

"Go, go, go"

"Sir there's nowhere to go" I heard the voices of the soldiers echo around me.

“Baby no” Xavier pulled me to his arms. “no” he brushed my cheeks

“Xavier, I am so sorry for that, I love you” I closed my eyes and felt my soul slip from my body, I was coming back here in the spirit right, no you are going to the other hell. oh, THE ONE WHO NOURISHES YOU WILL DESTROY YOU,

Xavier’s sad, sad pov *sniff

“Winter? Winter, come back to me baby” I put my forehead on hers waiting for her to tell me that it was just a normal dagger that stabbed her. “baby please” never in my life did I think I would cry for a girl, did I think I would cry for anyone. Tears slipped out of my eyes.

“What happened? I heard there was a crisis and I was helping the guards get the guests out” Camari said as she ran into my bedroom, she gasped when she saw Winter.

"Winter's dead"

“And we can bring her back, right?”

"Not right"

"She was stabbed by..." I nodded "oh Xavier I am so sorry" she wrapped her arms around me and I nodded.

"They found the guards in the room after breaking all the mirrors and it turns out the witch was responsible for getting them here your majesty," one of my father's guards said "and we found this

“Well getting this was easier than I thought” I snapped my face to my father’s direction.

"Oh, my bad" he laughed

"The boy knows it's a joke"

"Well this isn't a time to be joking around, is it?"

"Certainly, my boy she's gone there's no bringing her back princess Antonia is always there and we have a coronation to finish if not I will never go to live with my ancestors"

"But what about me?" Camari said

"Yeah I won't let you kill my sister"

"I won't kill her, something else will" Camari stormed out of the room

“Camari!!! look what you've done, I am not getting crowned without Winter"

“What are you saying?”

"I think you can figure it right now"

"Xavier you cannot be serious"

"I am very serious, you are going to help me get her alive and well again or you are never going to meet your ancestors so I guess you should get ready for a long-reigning" he stormed out of my bedroom.
