The credits started rolling for the movie, I looked over and saw Wyatt’s hands around Chloe and Zoe, when I looked further I saw Jax sitting down, they would not allow my own cousin sit with me because apparently I was being toxic, if only they knew the reason I was like this. I was just trying to protect them from Xavier. If I told them about Xavier, he would kill them. I think I should just stay away from Alec like Xavier asked I might just be keeping him in danger.

We all walked out of the movie theatre, the movie was not exactly what I was expecting, the guys must have picked the movie if it was so filled with action, I threw popcorn in my mouth while I listened to them rave about how good the movie was.

“Where is Jax” what do they mean where is Jax he is right... I looked and saw Jeremy looking at me with an awkward look on his face, I blinked in disbelief and he blinked back equally. What the fuck, I was sure I had been walking with Jax throughout today.

“That is him” I pointed to Jeremy, and my friends looked at me with confusion, They looked at me then Jax then back at me.

“Winter are you feeling alright, ’ana mtakd min ’anak bialjunun” (I am sure you are going mad). What did Ali just say to me?

“I am feeling alright, this is my cousin who was just in the theatre with us moments ago, I swear,” I said

“That is not Jax, we do not know that dude,” Mia said. Jeremy and Jax looked alike in some sense so I just had to press a little further

“That is him you guys, the darkness of the theatre is messing with your head” I smiled beamingly “Trust me I know my cousin, this is Jax” Jeremy smiled

Oh- okay?” they muttered.

“I guess I should get going, my father would be worried about me going home this late and I might have some traffic to beat”

“Okay, drive safely” My best friends chorused and hugged mee tightly “We three know that is not Jax you have some explaining to do, remember your promise” they whispered into my ear and released me. WHAT A SINISTER DUO.

“Jeremy where is Jax?” I asked as I got into the car and Jeremy settled down beside me

“His royal highness is not too happy about his actions today, so he is at the house waiting to receive his punishment or rather already receiving it” My blood went cold, Xavier was hurting Jax, this is all my fault I should have protected him. “He told me to fill in for him” UH OH.

“Please drive faster” Jeremy picked up his speed and when we got to a red light all we had to do was stop. I contemplated whether I should ask Jeremy if he liked me at all, but I knew he would just lie and tell me he did and it was because I was his prince’s Fiance.

I ran into the house and up to my bedroom to drop my things, there was no sign of Xavier anywhere. THE BASEMENT.

I hurried down the stairs almost losing my footing and face planting, I gripped the staircase and ran down into the basement.

“So you are telling me that if I forced you to sit at a dinner table with my father you would sit” I heard a grunt

“No my lord” he groaned

“That is exactly what you implied, what if someone was watching her, to see when you would let your bodyguard facade wear out” another deeply pained grunt, “Her friends told you to sit and you sat like the boss you are”

“No my lord,” he said with a sharp intake of breath, “AHH, my lord” my bones jumped inside my body.

“So I am lying” what are you doing cat walking go and stop him. I picked up my pace and walked into the room. “Don’t think I have forgotten you ogling over her body” I heard the cracking of a whip and I saw Xavier beating Jax up. I just wanted to faint at the sight of the blood

“Xavier would you stop it” I ran to him and pulled him away from Jax, he looked at me, Jax looked visibly relaxed

“Oh so you let your guard down just because you think she can save you” he struggled against me and gave Jax a hard lash across his chest, first of all, rude secondly yes I can and will save him.

“Xavier there was nothing he could do but sit down, they were getting suspicious, he was supposed to be my cousin, and my cousin cannot stand while I eat it is awkward. Believe me, he tried talking me out of making him come with me as my cousin”

“So he talked to you, another reason I should kill him. Jax” he said

“Yes my lord” Jax answered quickly.

“Is this your lawyer? She is doing nothing but selling you out boy” Jax gave me a pleading look, I think he was telling me to shut up but I continued talking anyway

“There is no need to beat him up” I reached out and took the whip from him “I will take the beating for him” I stroked Xavier’s cheek and his eyes darkened.

“Pardon,” he said, he should say it again because I loved the way his eyes narrowed with amusement and his lips twisted

“You heard me, let Jax go. Heal him from whatever wounds he might have and I will fulfill whatever kinky desires you have”

“My queen you do not have...” Xavier shot him the look that told him to shut up

“So just release him” I walked over to Jax and removed his hands from the chains that were restraining him.

“Thank you, your highness” Jax bowed towards me,

“No problem”

“Not sure why she cares, but if she did not just know you would be dead a few seconds from now” Jax bowed “You may go” Xavier commanded Jax

Jax turned around to leave and I did too “Not you miss Cameron I think you have some unfinished business with me” OH CRAP
