The following day

I got ready for school at five o’clock because Xavier said I needed to wake up early in time for him to do all the rituals to look like that rude version of my father. I was so fucking tired and as he led me to the room the angel was currently being held I almost tripped on my own foot and dislocated my leg bones.

“Wake up, would you”

“I am sorry, I’m just so” I yawned and covered my mouth “Tired”

“This is about to get messy real quick” Xavier led me and the angel that looked like my father to the room where Xavier did his meditation and bringing me back to life shit.

“Are you sure you want to do this, Lukas”

“Do I have a choice”

“No” he deadpanned “just sit down on the ground”

The angel breathed out and did as Xavier said “You just stand there and try not to hit your head on anything”

“No promises” Xavier rolled his eyes and it all looked like slow motion to me because my eyes were drooping and I was going to slump on the floor any moment from now

“Close your eyes”

“Why?” I asked

“I am about to slit your father’s throat”

“He is not my real father” Xavier breathed out loudly

“Suit yourself” he went behind the angel and place his knife underneath his chin

“Wait, aren’t you going to give me anesthesia so it won’t hurt as much”

“Nope” Xavier dragged the blade across the man’s neck swiftly bringing out dark crimson red blood came spilling out of the angel’s neck then out of his mouth, I could never have been ready for that. “That guy is annoying”

“How come he died and your father didn’t”

“When I stabbed my father my intention was to warn him and not to kill him, besides he has cultivated for so long he can handle a single blow to his stomach” My mouth formed an oh shape

“So do I hold him up for you or...”

“Yes please, just don’t stain your clothes with his blood” I went behind the angel and held him up.

“I have seen a lot of things in my weeks of knowing you, finally I can get through final destination with my eyes open the whole time” Xavier laughed and sat in front of him.

“Close your eyes” I obeyed, The cool breeze again and the bright lights started flashing before my eyes.

“So what are you going to do?” I asked Xavier, still confused, and amazed about how much he looked and sounded like my father. It was kind of weird too considering I sucked this guy’s dick yesterday

“I am just going to talk with him for a while and spell him so he won’t look your way again”

“God, you look like my father I cannot take you seriously right now”

“You don’t take your father seriously,” he asked with an eyebrow up

“I do but having my boyfriend look like him, it’s freaky”

“You want a kiss?” he wiggled his eyebrows

“EWWWWW NO” I yelled and smacked his arm “God Xavier, no” We pulled up at school and my heart began to pound in my chest, what if he figured out that was not my father.

“Baby...” I cut him off

“Winter, relax the only way he will find out that I am not your father is if he is an angel or a demon or he is a voodoo magician and I am sure none of those things are true”

“Okay, okay” I got out of the car and led Xavier inside the school, Zoe and Chloe gave me questioning looks and I gave them a signal that said later.“Good morning Mr. Cameron”

“Good morning sir, should she stay or she can leave for class”

“I think she should stay to confirm all of this, please take your seat” Xavier took a seat in front of Mr. Perry and I was about to take a seat as well.

“Not you” I rolled my eyes and folded my hand over my chest. “It has come to my notice that Winter has increasingly begun violating the school principles” I would love to be VIOLENT to a school PRINCIPAL. Xavier breathed loud

“Please tell me more about what is going on”

“Your daughter has been wearing excess earrings to school and it is against the school rules, she has been reported severally that she talks in class and hardly focuses on schoolwork” that is a lie from the pit of hell “she is rude and I would like to inform you that a man other than you picks her up from school she says that is your employee but I personally think that is a lie” If I could reach forward and slap the glasses off your face sir.

Xavier, I mean my dad looked at me and I acted like I didn’t know what he was talking about.

“Winter dyed her hair and that goes against the dress code in all ways” sir it is only one.

“What is the school’s disciplinary procedure concerning cases like this?”

“DAD!!!”

“It calls for a month’s detention and a statement as she has broken a lot of rules”

“Can we just strategize about how this can be avoided in the future?” he asked and leaned into his chair “Winter is a good girl and I am sure she is moving with the wrong group of friends, and I trust her to do the right thing and cut off those bad friends”

“I am sure she can too if she tries harder”

“Winter what do you say to your principal”

“I don’t know, I am sorry I guess”

“See she is sorry, but I want you to stop looking her way”

“Pardon”

“Yeah you heard me, don’t call her out for anything just leave her and her friends alone, Chloe, Zoe everyone in her group of friends, am I clear”

“Yeh... yes sir, yes Mr. Cameron I will leave Winter alone”

“Good, have a great day” Xavier stood up

"Y... you too Mr. Cameron”

“Shall we” I followed Xavier out of the office

"I can kiss you right now” I exclaimed

“No you can’t” He was looking at Mr. Perry’s secretary who was looking at us with her brows cocked “You will not remember that” the woman looked at her screen again then resumed her typing.

“You are absolutely welcome, no cutting classes” he kissed my forehead
