“Winter, who is he?” they were eying Jax suspiciously, Jax was looking down like a lost puppy, WHY?. Oh, wait I told him to act like a mute guy.

“What are you talking about I told you I was taking my cousin around town this weekend you told me it was cool to bring him along,” I said, they widened their eyes

“Excuse us for one moment” Chloe and Zoe raised their finger to him.

“That is not possible” I internally smacked my head, he was supposed to be mute

“Why not”

“She is not allowed to be out of my sight”

“What Jax means is that he is scared of being alone, he was raped when he was younger” Zoe widened her eyes while Chloe took a sharp intake of breath

“What did you want to tell me”

“Winter we thought you were kidding about your, your cousin” they eyed him again, “we thought he was not real”

“Why would I lie about my cousin coming over,” I asked

“Nothing, come on let us go shopping before everyone gets here later on”

“Yes, everyone, Wyatt, Jason, Noah, Charlotte, Mia, and Alec”

“Alec is coming here?"

“Yeah, he is, you do not seem excited about it”

“I am, I just did not expect him to come today you know”

“Well of course after you stood him up”

“You guys are being kinda toxic don’t you think, just pipe it down a little I might start to think you guys want to end this friendship,” I said and they rolled their eyes at me “what was that look?” I asked

“Nothing,” they said at the same time and walked ahead of me, Jax gave me an apologetic look and I nodded at him.

I was sure Chloe, Zoe and I had been in all the boutiques in the mall, they just did not want to spend a second not shopping, I think it was about six so the other people that were coming would come very soon and I can end the torture on my feet. You know what bit me about all the walking, they paid little to no attention to me and Jax as if we were not even there. THAT HURT. And when I asked them about it they said that it was the way I had been acting recently and they wanted me to find out just how painful it was to keep your best friend in the dark.

IT FUCKING FELT BAD. Needless to say, I did not have the words to counter them with when they said that so I just kept following them after I said sorry. When we got to Victoria’s secret they dragged me after long whispering and whispered in my ear

“I promise,” I said over excitedly and we three walked into the store

“YOUR QUEEN!” Chloe and Zoe exclaimed dragging the attention of everyone and everyone that was in the surrounding area “what does he mean by you are his queen”

“Forget him, he kids like that all the time sometimes, of course, I do boss him around in some ways”

“Oh” their mouths formed an oh shape and I looked at Jax with a murderous glare.

“Are you getting anything for Xavier” the twins wiggled their eyebrows at me, I looked at Jax, he was looking and immediately his eyes caught mine he looked down”I don’t know yet”

“You definitely need to try on this garter belt you would look hot in it” I was standing in front of Zoe and Chloe in just my shorts, They were holding Xavier’s hoodie and a lacy black garter belt with thigh-high socks they bought at another store specifically for this.

“I think you would say that about every garter belt we come across,”

“Just try it on” this is the fifteenth piece of clothing I have tried on in this place, I walked into the changing room after grabbing the garter belt. I pulled off my shorts and put the belt around my waist and pulled the socks to my thigh, I cannot believe they talked me into doing this when I entered this boutique I did not know that I was entering for me instead of them. But then I looked hot in garter belts. I walked out of the dressing room and immediately Jax widened his eyes he could not take his eyes off me. If I don’t kill this guy Xavier would. I wonder what is wrong with Jeremy anyway he never talks.

“Jax, close your mouth she is your cousin” I burst out laughing when Jax blushed profusely.

“We are getting that and everything else, Wyatt just texted me that they are all about to have a quick snack at subway before we go pick a movie”

“You mean to tell me we do not have a movie we are seeing”

“Nope” I smacked my forehead”So we are watching what fate lets us see”

“To be honest I didn’t think she would show up,” Jason said amusedly while taking a bite into his foot-long, like what he said was funny.

“Why are you attacking me?”

“I am, I did not realize. Too cool for school Winter”

“I don’t believe I have done anything to make you think I am too cool for school, hell we do not even talk so just focus on getting fat and stop talking how about that”Jason rolled his eyes, I am turning into a real bitch

“Yes you are,” Wyatt said, crap I said that out loud didn’t I. “You did not even notice your cousin has been standing by you throughout this whole lunch” I looked up at Jax, well he was standing by me because he was meant to be standing by me.

“Nonsense, sit down man you are with us, you have not even eaten anything,” Wyatt said, he looked at me. he was begging me to say something to stop Wyatt from forcing him to sit.

“Just sit here,” I pulled out a chair for him and he sat down slowly
