“Camari thank you for the fantastic day” I hugged her goodbye and she walked through the doors of hell back to where she came from, Xavier was waiting for me in the basement.

“How was your day?” he asked giving me a little peck,

“Pretty eventful, She took me out rollerblading and we tasted every alcohol in your father’s mini bar, then we passed out in the kitchen found our selves in our bedrooms then we both went for a walk before we started gossiping about your life but with signs so you wouldn’t find out, HA” I walked passed him

“What did I do to deserve you prying into my life like that?” he said with amusement in his voice, oh he knows what he did

“You know, you don’t trust me”

“Should I?” WHAT, of course, you should what is wrong with this demon’s brain.

“Yes, I am your girlfriend you should trust me cos I trust you”

“That isn’t how trust works, you kind of have to earn my trust you have done pretty stupid things and don’t think I have forgotten”

“Xavier, I will be upstairs watching TV you better have subscribed for Netflix because the living room is my new boyfriend”

“Oh really and how will you kiss”

“I can kiss the TV, no harm, and as for sex you already know what would go on between the remote and I”

“You wouldn’t” he laughed

“You watch me” I walked up the basement stairs then went to the living room. My backpack was still sitting on the couch from the day before yesterday, I unzipped it to check for leftover bubble gum, I felt the cold metal of the gun brush my skin. and the packet of bullets too. I always forget to return that to Zoe.

Well no gum for me, I might as well get a snack from the fridge. I walked to the kitchen Gillian was cooking dinner already.

“Oh hey Gillian”

“Your highness, I trust you enjoyed your day today”

“Yes thank you for asking” I opened the fridge and grabbed a soda. When I tried open the can the ring pulled off.

“Oh Jesus, not again” I hate when this happens it is one of my many pet peeves, I grabbed a fork and wedged the cover off

“I baked cupcakes, would you like one my queen”

“No thank you” I walked to the living room with my drink. THANK LUCIFER, he paid.

“Are we going to ignore the blood on your neck” my hand flew to the spot, it felt wetter and stickier. Apricot’s scratch must have been more serious than I thought.

“Never mind it Apricot scratched me, it will go very soon. I want to tell you a secret and you must not tell anybody” I whispered

“What” she leaned into me “Xavier is really a kidnapper and he s planning on shipping you to another country”

“WHAT, no. Alec tried to kiss me again he almost did but I ran away”

“What do you mean Alec almost kissed you again” she whisper-yelled

“What else would I mean, he leaned forward and I swear our lips brushed” it is not the idea of me kissing Alec that was the problem it was that Xavier might result into killing Alec and it would be because of me, I don’t think I want another friend gone.

Or I want more tension between Xavier and me after he told me to my face that he didn’t trust me it has been really weird, It does not fucking have to be, you guys should have been making babies by now but you think too much.

“I wouldn’t if you would just leave my fucking head” Zoe scrunched her eyebrows at me, did I say that out loud, Oops I smiled.

“I am certain you are running mad”

“I am not”

“Okay? don’t bite me. Tell Alec you have a boyfriend and he will back off”

“Why didn’t I think of it before” I smacked my forehead Zoey nodded her head slowly and looked away. She thought I was going crazy who could blame her I even thought I was going crazy.

“Are you doing to treat the cut on your neck”

“It will heal, Xavier said so it was his wolf that scratched me” well technically my wolf “and he said I should let it absorb oxygen and it would heal in a week.

“Clearly he wants you to bleed out, a wound as deep as this cannot just heal on its own and you are starting to feel woozy let us you to the nurse”

“I said I am okay” I touched the injury again.

“Fine, there is Alec you can tell him now that you are in a relationship”

“I am chicken you do it”

“Fine” she got up and went to Alec, I saw his face downcast when she broke the news to him and he nodded slightly, poor guy. He started talking to her as well.

“Why didn’t she tell me herself” from the way I read his lips that is what he said, I trust Zoe to have said something along the lines of, she didn’t want to hurt your feelings.

"Hey babe” I looked forward and saw the last person I wanted to see, and the first person I would kill if I was actually considering the job of a massacre queen.

“Hey Niall, don’t call me babe”

“Isn’t that what I called you when we went out” for three days

“What do you want”

“I found your boyfriends little sex shrine when I came for that party and I will tell everyone about it” sex shrine, the dungeon that is what he calls a sex shrine

“Go ahead” I scoffed, what was anybody going to do if I supposedly liked BDSM. “You are pathetic, you can go now and make the announcement quick” I tapped his nose with my index finger and he glared at me then stood up he suddenly sat back down. WHAT NOW.

“Why did you break up with me, we could have been so good together” he held my hand

“Uhh” I wasn’t sure if he was being serious at this point “you only liked me for my good looks”

“What else is there” EXCUSE ME, I dragged my hand out of his grip.

“You should write a book, Niall, how to upset women in five syllables or less I see it becoming a bestseller” I got off the seat and stormed out of the library leaving Niall in my dust
