Maids filed into Camari’s room and they bowed gracefully.

“Bronwyn we need to talk,” Camari said and I saw one of the maids widen her eyes. “you can start by helping Winter with her getting ready, Bronwyn follow me” She walked out of the door and the maid followed suit.

“You really don’t have to do this” I started protesting but I was abruptly pulled to Camari’s dressing table. WHAT THE HELL. A brush ran through my hair and another lady started cleaning my face with wipes.

“Wait, wait, wait, I don’t want to wear any makeup” that didn’t stop them, my face was being moved in all directions and I couldn’t even fell my face, to begin with, It was like I was a doll. After a few ten minutes I looked into the mirror the woman that was getting my makeup done was surprisingly good at it and my hair was being rolled. Camari had not come back with that maid yet which made me worry for the lady, “I will be right back” I held my finger up for the women” and stunningly they stepped away from me. I walked out of the room looking like a monster with half my hair up in rollers and the second half down.

I bumped into Camari yet again, and beside her, the maid was standing there with clothes in her hands.

“What are you doing outside?”

“I was looking for you this time”

“Why?”

“I was worried for her” I pointed to the maid and she looked down

“She is fine I just gave her a little scolding, that is all, now go back and let them finish your makeup”

“What about you?”

“Do not worry about me” I raised my eyebrow at her then she pushed me inside the room

The makeup on my face was amazingly done, the red lipstick I was sporting made my eyes pop, I looked like the queen of darkness with the smoky eye makeup as well, where did ancient demons learn how to do this type of makeup, I would love to learn. I stood on a stool and the maids started rushing around me putting on my dress.

“Ow,” I exclaimed when a little pin pinched me slightly.

“I am sorry your highness, I am ready to take whatever punishment it is that accompanies my insolence”

“Insolence? calm down it was an accident” the girl bowed and joined her friends in arranging the knee-length gold and black dress they had put me in.

“Wow I look like a princess, thank you,” I told the maids and did a little twirl scanning my body in the mirror. I looked at my self for a long time unable to recognize who was standing in the mirror.

“Um Winter, Xavier said I should give you this” Camari put a necklace on my neck I saw it was the crystal I told him to take for me from the lake, SO QUICK. He turned it into a necklace and it fit perfectly with my dress. I didn’t have my ears pierced yet so the maids just put a magnetic earring on for me.

Camari and I walked into the dining room,
“His majesty king Lucifer the fifteenth” FIFTEENTH “Queen Lillian and prince Xavier the first, I present to you her royal highness princess Camari and the proposed queen princess Winter” princess Winter, I like the sound of that. I curtsied as a sign of respect and walked to sit beside Xavier

"Good evening to you too" I smiled curtly and looked in front of me, Won't you look around the dining room. That little voice said inside my head, I obeyed and looked around the room discreetly, it was beautifully decorated, I hope they paid the people who did these things very well if they do pay them that is. of course, they pay them.

"You look absolutely breathtaking" Xavier whispered in my ear and I smiled without looking at him.

"Winter" a dark voice called me" that was definitely not Xavier, if it was Xavier I would know. I looked up and saw the king looking at me. He looked very much like what he was in the picture. Except he was HOTTER?, look at you fangirling over your fiancee's father GET A GRIP.

"Your majesty" I replied, brushing off the voice in my head. You forgot to greet my mother and she is ready to throw a knife at you, Xavier's voice invaded my thought, I immediately looked in the direction of the queen and saw that she, in fact, looked like she was ready to murder me. According to the chilling adventures of Sabrina that should be Lilith right. Oh my Lilian, Lilith it makes sense now.

"Your grace you look impeccable this evening" I commented cooly as if I never forgot to throw a greeting at her. She looked visibly relaxed when I said that and I fought the urge to sigh in relief but I didn't. I faced lucifer again.

"You wanted to say something, your highness"

"You plan on marrying my first son, am I correct" more like he plans on marrying me, I said in my head so no one heard it but me.

"Yes your highness"

"He simply can not talk about anything but you, he even defies my orders is it that you are a bad influence on him" so he was beaten this afternoon because of me, why did I feel the need to just stab myself for this guy.

"I did not realize..." he cut me off

"He even took your punishment for you today"

"My punish..." he cut me off again, okay RUDE

"Do you realize that this means if you go against him, you would be the most horrible person in this universe and I will join him to punish you" what is he even saying, oh wait is this about my escape plans, I think I already ditched those.

"That is enough father"

"Xavier, you haven't even told your wife why you had bruises, shame on you"

"But I healed them already, why bring this up?"

"Technically you are" I muttered under my breath. Xavier stepped on my foot

"Ow" I looked at him with a glare in my eyes, he glared at me equally with his eyes telling me to SHUT THE HELL UP
