"What's wrong? Why are you silent? Weren't you told to apologise? Young lady," Xezedha said bending her body and bringing her face closer to mine.

I flinched, not wanting this matter to drag on for too long so I quickly agreed to her request and apologised. Although honestly I felt unacceptable because the one who should have apologised to me was Xezedha, not the other way around. But if I insist too much then I'm sure I'll get more anger from James after this.

"Mrs Xezedha, I apologise for my previous behaviour that made you feel uncomfortable and offended. In the future I will improve my attitude and not repeat the same mistake," I apologised.

My face remained stern and I didn't make it sad or anything because I knew I was innocent and I was only doing what should be done by people who can distinguish what is wrong and what is right.

I don't know what happened after that because it hurt so much and I only cared about how I could endure the pain in my belly. The pain in my belly was so unbearable, I hoped the foetus inside was still okay because of the shock.

"I apologise for what Xezedha did, and I hope you take good care of your womb after this," James said.
