Revenge and Love

The healers are still struggling with Aluna's abortion process. They have prepared various kinds of potions to be drunk to Aluna, unbeknownst to James it turns out that they have collaborated with Afrow in this plan to abort Aluna's pregnancy.

The healers did not want to rebel against James, but they only followed whoever gave them the rewards they needed, namely money, even though in the world they lived in the money they used was not the same as the money used in the modern human world. Afrow as well as having worked a lot and accumulated a lot of money was able to give a large amount of gold to those healers so that they would cooperate with Afrow.

"Are all the potions ready?"

"All the potions have been prepared as well including the potion for the antidote to the poison for Lady Aluna."

"Good then, we can't leave any potions here because they are all connected to each other, because there is a possibility that one of the potions will have an effect on Mrs Aluna, so another potion is needed to cover that effect. Because if this mission affects Madam Aluna then Lord Afrow will be furious."

"Alright, we understand."

After they finished discussing the healers then took out a bottle of potion which was probably a bottle to induce contractions and damage to the foetus Aluna was carrying.

They did not hesitate to do this all just for money, and they were actually not just this time handling requests like this from people who had paid them, so this mission to abort was not the first time they had done something like that.

"Pour slowly and carefully, make sure that Madam Aluna does not choke and that the potion does not enter her respiratory tract," said the head physician.

The other healers nodded and then carefully carried out the chief physician's instructions. Little by little they poured the liquid into a funnel that served as a connection between the potion bottle and Aluna's lips.

The head physician watched the workings of his subordinates carefully, he wanted to make sure that everything went according to plan so that the series he had arranged would not fall apart.

"A little more and Mrs Aluna's foetus will---"

Before the healer finished speaking, there was suddenly a huge explosion that occurred there and made the healers who were nearby get thrown until they hit the wall.

The explosion that was produced at that moment was so huge that it even shook the castle and made the castle tremble because of the explosion.

Even though Aluna has just woken up from her stupor, Aluna can restore her consciousness quickly and start remembering the situation that happened at that time. Aluna still remembered that before she fainted, Afrow had made her drugged and fainted in front of her room.

Aluna slowly moved away and tried to keep her distance from the two people. This sense of trust in Afrow had been lost just like that because of the incident she experienced firsthand, she did not want to be naive by remembering all of Afrow's kindness and forgetting what had just happened to her just now.

"Aluna, how could you----"

"Stop right there!" Aluna shouted to stop Afrow. "I remember everything! You.... You betrayed!"

Afrow was shaken by his feelings, hearing the shout from Aluna made him feel quite hurt, even though all he did was to get Aluna, but in fact it made Aluna hate him. Is Aluna actually much more in favour of James than him? So thought Afrow. Afrow was really hurt.

"It's not what you think, Mrs Aluna. I did all of this just for you, and don't think that I want to hurt you. I just want to keep you away from James, and I beg you to understand me. I love you very much and I don't want you to give birth to another man's babies," Afrow said with a pleading face.

"But not by doing dangerous things like this, the baby in my womb has nothing wrong with you, you shouldn't vent your anger and hatred on these babies. They want to live and they want to be born into this world, you don't have the right to end their lives even you are not who they are," said Aluna.

Xezedha raised one eyebrow and smiled sarcastically. "I knew that you actually liked James, but you just pretended not to care about him and sold out. You really are a disgusting woman."

Aluna glared and denied Xezedha's words. "Shut your mouth that wicked woman! In this situation I don't care about all your thoughts but just one thing I want to make clear here, take me to defend my pregnancy because I am the mother of these babies, I have the right to love them and bring them into this world. You two should not sacrifice my babies just because of your personal business!"

Xezedha snorted and gave Aluna a sharp look. "You can say that as if you have the power to fight the two of us. What do you have now besides that arrogant mouth of yours and that weak body of yours? Even when the two of us restrain your body now there will be no one who can help you to defend your womb when we forcefully abort your foetus."

Aluna was silent, she began to worry because the two people seemed very serious with their words, usually she would always depend on Afrow in urgent situations like this. However, in fact the person who put her in danger now was the same person who always helped her every time.

Now that Aluna didn't have anyone beside her as her protector in a dangerous situation like this, she looked around and there was no way to get out other than the door behind Afrow and Xezedha. This would make it difficult for her because she had no other way to escape from there.

"Please don't come any closer...."

Aluna backed away as the two people advanced towards her, Aluna's feelings were really trembling and scared because of the threat that the two of them showed to Aluna. The situation of the castle was also very quiet and it was likely that the remaining people there were also people who sided with Afrow and Xezedha.

Aluna continued to retreat backwards followed by Afrow and Xezedha who continued to approach Aluna. Aluna's heart beat faster when she saw Afrow's sharp gaze. That gaze was very lustful for Aluna, but mixed with hatred for the foetus that Aluna was carrying.

"Afrow, I beg you. Please do not take out your hatred on these babies. They have done nothing wrong and they don't know anything about our affairs. Let them live and I promise I will come with you after these babies are born," pleaded Aluna trying to negotiate.

Afrow shook his head. "That won't be enough because I believe a mother's bond will never be severed to her babies. I'm sure someday you will return to James because of the children. I won't let that happen. And before that happens I'm going to get to the bottom of it by killing those babies."

It was now clear that the man's decision was unanimous and inviolable. Even though Aluna asked so much in return and also seduced him, he still would not back down on his decision to abort Aluna's pregnancy.

Afrow ran towards Aluna, he quickly jumped and was about to pounce on Aluna. Aluna, who had no room to retreat anymore, could only stand still and look down, she protected her belly so that Afrow's attack would not hit her belly and foetus.

Xezedha who saw that just smiled contentedly, she felt that this love triangle story made her quite profitable because she did not need to get her hands dirty directly to get rid of the foetus that Aluna was carrying.

"Afrow! Stop it!" Aluna shouted with her remaining courage.

Afrow did not heed Aluna's shout, he jumped towards Aluna and prepared to make Aluna lose her baby right now, he didn't care even if Aluna begged him though.

At the same time, something crashed into the castle wall and made the wall hollow. Afrow was thrown away strongly, while that figure stood in front of Aluna to protect her.

"James?"

"My guess turned out to be right, these traitors are really shameless. They still committed treason after what I have given them so far. Don't worry Aluna, I won't let you and our future babies get hurt because of their actions."

Aluna gasped, she did not expect that at a crucial moment like this James was present and became a hero to protect her. Even though James had already left and he was likely already at a distance from the castle.

"You... How?"

Afrow and Xezedha were surprised, they did not expect that James had realised this and he had returned to the castle to protect Aluna.

"Why, are you surprised? Welcome your failure," James said confidently.
