Aluna's condition

Afrow still respected his friend for his decision to remain Xezedha. However, Afrow would not just accept it and would investigate this later without their knowledge. But the main focus now was the safety of Aluna and her foetus, because it would be useless for her to plan many things if their safety was still uncertain.

Xezedha smiled wryly and felt victorious for having been defended by James. Xezedha knew that she was actually being insinuated by Afrow and suspected about the perpetrator of this attack. Xezedha also knew that there would be many people who thought that she was one of the people who planned the attack on Aluna. That according to Xezedha was a very natural thing, because so far she had often shown her dislike for Aluna.

Finally what they were waiting for appeared too, the healers who had been handling Aluna came out of the room, they looked tired and they also looked big. Of course that expression made James and Afrow feel even more worried that what happened to Aluna would be even more worrying.

"What happened? What is the condition of the three of them?" James asked worriedly to the healers.

The healers looked timid as they were about to answer the question, they paused for a moment while trying to think.

"There is good news and bad news, which would you like to hear first Sir?" they asked.

James answered. "Bad news."

"The bad news is that Mrs Aluna's condition is getting worse, Aluna's history of congenital disease is being triggered by the silver powder she inhaled earlier. That makes Mrs Aluna's heart weaken even more and her condition will be more worrying, but it can still be handled if the treatment will continue without stopping for 2 consecutive days. That's our prediction about the treatment of Mrs Aluna's heart," said the healer.

James was agitated, his breathing was clearly audible, his eyes seemed to be penetrating the healers' brain and wanted to read everything in it.

The man was carrying a box but its size was neither too small nor too big, it made them all wonder but not James who seemed to have guessed what was inside the box.

"Did you find it?" said James.

"Yes, sir. Our expedition has yielded satisfactory results. After travelling a long distance, we finally found the flower you requested. Mrs. Aluna can be saved with this flower," replied the man.

The healers who saw the box finally looked at each other and interrupted each other. The man opened the box, inside was a very bright gold-coloured flower and its petals glittered like crystals, on top of the petals there seemed to be endless dew falling, the flower looked very fresh; beautiful and charming.
