Two Men Fight

"You... How?"

Afrow and Xezedha were surprised, they did not expect that James had already realised this and he had returned to the castle to protect Aluna.

"Why, are you surprised? Welcome your failure," James said confidently.

"We could have predicted that all this would happen. You never change, James. It's hard to hide anything from you and everything. I have always respected you as the one who has always contributed to me, to my goal of having Aluna forever," Afrow said.

"Really? Unfortunately, you won't be able to surpass me no matter what you do. Alona will still be mine even if she has given birth to my children later, because she is the one I will make my Luna and accompany me as king and queen here," said James.

Afrow frowned, his eyes moving steadily towards James after James made that statement in front of Afrow directly. She seemed to be very surprised by James' unexpected wish to make Aluna as his companion in place of Xezedha.

"What the hell is this?! How can you turn around so quickly and just throw me away!" Xezedha screeched unacceptably.

"Shut up! You're a traitorous woman who has never valued the love of others! You are here only because of your ability to act and deceive the power of everyone here, from the first time you were here until now you have never loved me at all. And you betrayed me on behalf of Aluna's existence here, even though you have been planning to dethrone me and put your family above the Voghmoon family. It's not that I didn't know about your plan, but I just kept denying the reality and was too naive to accept the reality, but now my mind has changed and I'm convinced that it's better to eliminate your existence here than to sacrifice my position as King Alpha."

Xezedha hissed and then glared at James fiercely, she looked bitter yet vengeful. Condemnation continued to come out of her mouth even though it was only a whisper.

"Why, isn't it all true? You're using the alibi that I cheated on you first, when in fact it was you who first planned to betray me. Even I've often discovered that you wanted to poison me behind my back, yet I kept quiet and assumed you'd change someday. But enough of this, accept the consequences of your actions Xezedha," James said with conviction.

James felt quite sad in his heart, the woman he once loved so deeply now he had to fight, but it was all for the good of everyone in this castle especially himself, after all now what was his focus was Aluna and her future babies, he could not continue to be trapped in delusions of love that even only himself was trapped in that love.

"I have realised that there is already love growing in my heart for Aluna. Therefore I will not waste Aluna anymore, especially since she is the only person who defends me here when all of you have betrayed me," said James.

Afrow looked very upset, he did not accept that Aluna would be James' partner and that meant James would do Bonding with Aluna. After that happens, then there will be no one who can and can have Aluna besides James.

"That won't happen," Afrow replied unhappily.

The battle then took place, they both used their magical powers against each other. They did the battle without hesitation even though they were best friends, the fact that was actually revealed they both no longer considered each other as their best friends.

James and Afrow really unleashed the maximum amount of their power, and they were unsparing in their attacks on each other. They punched, kicked, hit, threw, and did many more attacks in order to defeat their opponents.

"What's this much power from a James Voghmoon? I thought after all this time that this duel we're having would be so fierce, it turns out that your strength is only up to that. Is it because of the title and honour you have that you feel the strongest and never train anymore?"

Afrow laughed sarcastically, he unleashed his magical power through his fist and punched James' face so hard that it hit James' face with a very hard blow. In accordance with that he intended to kick James' stomach using his foot but it was anticipated by James in advance and James deflected it with his hand that was covered by the protection of his magical power.

James continued to fend off Afrow's furious attacks. Afrow was in great shape to attack James, she had also experienced a significant increase in strength in recent times, it was not noticed by James and apparently Afrow had been training and increasing her strength.

But there was one thing that made James a little surprised by Afrow's increased strength, the flow of magical energy from Afrow's attack felt unusual to James.

It wasn't about intensity or too much power, but James seemed to feel that there was something odd about the flow of magical energy. James suspected that his best friend had used some forbidden means to increase his power in a short period of time.

"What's wrong? Are you overwhelmed? Where is that James who was always boasting about his strength? I haven't seen your fighting spirit like before, has your strength faded so much now that you look like a weak man?" Afrow asked while teasing his best friend.

"Afrow, you didn't do it that way, did you?" James asked worriedly to confirm his concern.

"Apparently you also realised that I used that method. What else do I need to worry about? My purpose in using it is so that I can get the woman I want, I don't care about any side effects that I will get by using power in that way," Afrow said.

James was upset that his best friend, who used to be a disciplined man and always uphold the path of truth, had deviated and used the wrong way to risk his own life.

There is a treatment that can be done by werewolves to get their strength in a shortcut. It is done by absorbing the energy core of another werewolf and inserting it into the body of the werewolf who wants to get the power by shortcut.

This is not unheard of by other werewolves and has even happened many times but in the end it will cause side effects because there will be several magical cores in one werewolf body. If the body reached its limit then it would explode on its own or cause terrible complications for the user.

"Afrow, you can still undo it now, using such a method will be very dangerous for your life," James said.

Afrow wore an unconcerned look, she sighed in displeasure at James.

"Then you think I care? Stop talking and just focus on our fight now, I will prove that I was born to be able to beat you and not always be under you for everything," Afrow said looking full of ambition.

They then resumed their fight again, inside the room so many lights shone and flickered like a number of fireworks being exploded in succession. Aluna who was only an ordinary human could not see the rhythm of their movements because of her limited human vision, but what she could see was that the movements of the two men were very fast like lightning and flashes that struck the earth.

Xezedha who was also there was silent and transfixed when she saw the two men fighting as if they were fighting for a chance to live in heaven. Although she was also a werewolf, the woman still saw this fight as an amazing and thrilling battle, because her power level was not equal to the two men who were fighting.

The power generated by the two of them not only made the room fall apart, they fought to the point that the hallways and rooms nearby were also destroyed. The shots from the power of their magical energy managed to hollow out the castle walls and even perforate the mountains near the castle.

Every second that passed in that place was like being in a hell that was punishing thousands of guilty people, because the events were so terrible and full of dramatisation. Aluna was so trembling that she could no longer move her body when she saw the battle.

"You see?" Xezedha approached. "The two of them are at odds and doing damage because of you. You're like a troublemaker who never stops creating new problems. I don't understand why they're fighting over you so much, when you're just an ordinary human girl who can do nothing but cry and ask for help."

"Maybe this is my chance to finish you off right now. No one will help because both of them are fighting to defeat each other," said Xezedha.

Aluna who was sitting on the floor could only retreat while continuing to dodge, she was so scared, Xezedha's hand had released a magical energy that formed a pointed object. It seemed that Xezedha wanted to stab Aluna's body with that magical energy.

"I will kill you, Aluna."
