Chapter Twenty Eight

She was in the backyard. It was matching with the pond back in the house. She was missing them. She was getting irritated being Isolated in this gigantic mansion. It was beautiful and magnificent. Anyone would praise it and dreamt to live here. Cheerlessly, She sighted at the pound. She was waiting for the yellow fish to come on the surface of the water. It passed many minutes and it didn't come. She was blaming herself for all this mess. She wanted it to be like it used to be before. Liam wasn't ready to hear her. She didn't expect her father in law to raise his hand on him as Liam is dear to him. It could simply find how much he doted him. She had mostly found him staring at Liam's eyes as it reminded him of someone special. Silent tears were running down her cheeks. Even though she had a great time with Liam at breakfast.
" Here you are, " Familiar voice jolted her. There was hatred in it.
She turned to see, " Kairo, " She smiled seeing him.
Her smile faded when she sighted him. He was in the same clothes from yesterday. His hair was messed. Her eyes were a bit shade of red. She could feel his anger. She was feeling terror when she saw him holding a gun in his hand. He was staggering. He was drunk.
" You shattered our family. " he bristled.
" I know. You must be hating me now. " She doledully said.
" Good. You know your fault. " He said, charging his gun at her.
She wasn't fearing this time. She was admitted that it was all her fault. She could see in his eyes. He was here to kill her to punish her. She closed her eyes to welcome her punishment. She was waiting for him to shoot her. Instead she heard noises and clatter. She snapped open her eyes.
Danil was standing with a gun. Almost, four men were holding Kairo to control him. He was struggling to get free.
" Let me kill her. It will bring our brother back. " He shouted.
Danil savagely gripped him by neck, " Shut up! It will kill him. You will lose all hopes. Stop this fuc**** shit. " he bitterly snapped.
Kairo jerked from their hold. He wrapped his arms around Danil. Hall was resonating with his sobs. Her heart dropped. Tears crowded her eyes.
" I want my brother back. " she heard from him. She saw the youngest of three brothers in Danil's arms. Who could cross any limit to protect his brothers.
Danil glanced at her. Without a word, he walked toward the main door with Kairo.
Tears were showering from her eyes. Angelina was standing there watching the whole thing.
" Not a word to anyone. " She almost ordered her.
" Yes, Rose. " She said.
She scampered toward her door. She cried her eyes out. She knew. It was also difficult for Liam to stay away from his family, especially his brothers. Kairo had told her. They never lived separated from each other.
I can't live with this guilt. I have to do something. Liam will never agree. He is a proud man. He spends his mostly time in office ignoring the voice of his heart. He's broken from inside. She can't let it happen. She can't persuade him but she can ask Danil and Kairo to come and live here. ' She thought and wiped her tears from her eyes.
She smiled with the hope and reached for her phone. She glared at her phone display. It was almost midnight.
" I will call in the morning." She whispered to herself.
Why didn't Liam come yet? She walked down the hall and found him in the whole house. She found him in study. He was sleeping on the couch. His one arm was blocking the light from his eyes upon his forehead. She crouched down beside him. There was a frown on her forehead. Reluctantly, She tried to smooth his frown. She gently brushed her fingers on his forehead. In a blink, his hand was on her wrist. He opened his green emerald eyes.
" Did you cry? " He instantly placed his palm on her cheek.
" No, " She shook her head.
" Stop lying to me, Rose. " He glared at her.
She bit her lips restlessly. He bent down and wrapped her waist in his strong hold. He pulled her up and made her sit on his upper thighs.
" We should go home. " She said to him.
" This is our home. I don't wanna talk about it. " He said.
She hung her head gloomily. He held her chin and forced her to look in his eyes.
" It will take some time. You will get used to it. " He said.
" What ab-out you? " She asked in fear.
He didn't reply to her. He wrapped his arms around her. He laid back on the couch embracing her body with him, " Sleep. " He whispered, kissing her forehead.
She rested her head on his chest. She could hear his heart beatings in a rhythm. His hot breath was brushing her forehead. She closed her eyes, putting her arms around him.

Next morning, She picked up her phone. She paced toward the balcony. Liam was taking a bath. She dialed the number and hoisted it to her ear. Call was answered on the second ring.
" Hello, Danil. "
" It's Kairo. I'm shocked. You didn't tell him anything about yesterday. " He rudely said.
" I um, " She stopped, " Liam is stubborn. If we can't come there. You can come here to stay. " She suggested with hope.
" I like this idea. " Danil said.
" Danil, is Kairo still upset with me and mom, dad? " She asked. She was biting her fingers between her teeth.
" No, no one is upset with you. Dad is disturbed..... "
Abruptly, someone grabbed her phone from her hands, " Liam, I I " She stuttered. Her heart was beating fastly in her chest. He was in a white towel wrapped around his waist.
He has a perfect body. It was wet. Water was running in small streaks. She bit her lip while thinking.
He glared at the screen, " You are free to talk to them. " He said, giving it back to her.
" H hello, "
" Are you okay?" Kairo asked.
Phone is on speaker, she thought.
" Yes! Um, think over what I suggested. Bye. " She said.
" Rose, I'm. sorry." Kairo said.
" For what? I've forgotten that. You should too." she said and disconnected the call.
It earned a look from Liam. She paced back at the small table. But he put his hand on the railing enclosing her.
" What are you planning, babe? " he asked in a soft voice.
She blinked innocently and shook her head. He smiled and kissed on her nose.
" Did anyone tell you? You are a naughty girl. " He smiled while whispering.
" No, " She murmured.
" Sir, " Paul knocked on the door.
" Yes, " He turned.
" Sir, um…" Paul halted and looked at her.
Liam's expression changed, " I'll be there. " He said.
He donned his clothes. He held his coat in his hand, " See you at the dinner. " He hastily said. There was scowl over his forehead. He reached for her and pecked on her cheeks. He took a long stride away from her. She gripped his arm with her both hands. She covered his one long stride with two steps. She tiptoed and placed a kiss on his cheek, " I'll wait. " She whispered.
He passed his adorable smile. He rested his forehead on her forehead. His breath was tickling her skin. He stepped back. She was staring at his back as she wanted to stop him.

He stepped in the study expressionless. He didn't want anyone to show his wife as his weakness. He picked up his file which was waiting for his signature. He started to read it.
" Sir, Hebrew Ricci can be troublesome in future. " Paul said to him.
" Spill it. " He demanded.
" He has been seen with Russian Mafia. He is gathering people against you. It's confirmed news from our undercovers. " He said.
" Hm. Keep track of them. " He said, signing the files.
" Sir, Hacker wants to talk to you. Hebrew is joining some mobsters who are against you in Goa. " Paul said.
" Did he say anything? " He asked, turning the page of files.
" Yes, sir. He wants man power. He wanted to fight from our side. " Paul said.
" Did you dig it properly? " He asked.
" Yes, sir. He presented the file related to Hacker's detail. "
He opened it. He turned the file and read it carefully as usual, " Alot him. Travis, I want you to lead our group there. start work from now. I want you to report me every day." He enacted.
" Yes, sir. " He bowed and strode out.
" Sir, " Danny knocked on the door.
" Yes, "
" Danil sir, wanted to meet you. He is waiting in the hall. " Danny said.
He sighed. He lightly slammed his hand on the table, " Coming. " He whispered.
" Paul, keep an eagle eye on Hebrew. Double the security in the house. Also inform Angelina to be careful and alert Mel. " He said.
" Yes, sir. " Paul replied.
He toyed with his phone and paced out.
" Are you alone? " Rose asked him.
Danil saw him and walked at him. Danil embraced his brother. He returned his hug. One day seemed ages to him.
" How are you, brother? " Danil asked.
It was really sounding weird as he never used and heard this sentence from his brother in his twenty six years of life.
" Good, What's about you? " He asked.
" Gleeful after seeing you." Danil replied. They didn't break their hug.
His gaze was wandering at the entrance, " Where is Kairo? " He asked.
Danil pulled back , " He's coming. See it yourself." He replied, signing with his thumb toward the door.
Kairo was pulling two large suitcases with him.
Are they going to live here? He thought.
He didn't break the suspense and plastered confusion on his face.
Kairo glanced at his big brother. He left the luggage and rushed at him like a child who was seeing his parents after days. Kairo tightly hugged him. He put his arms around his youngest brother. He really missed her brothers.
" I miss you brother." Kairo said cheerfully.
" I miss you and your mischievous behavior and tricks." He strongly patted his back.
He pulled back. He knew what was inside these bags. Still, he wanted to see the exciting look on Kairo's face.
" What's in the bags?" He smirked.
" Our clothes. We're staying with you." Kairo grinned fully, but halted to see his big brother's decision.
" Elated by bliss. " He smiled, ' It's your house. "
" Thank you. " Kairo gave him a quick hug and walked toward the luggage to pick it up.
" We're not alone. " Danil said.
He comprehended the meaning of his brother's sentence. His parents were coming from the main door.
" Mom, Dad, ' Rose exclaimed and ran to hug them.
She was smiling ear to ear. He could forget the fuss for the sake of her, but for a short time.
" Your people are waiting for the king to reach. " Danil smiled.
He smiled and nodded, " Well, we have new enemies." he said.
" So what's the plan? " Danil smirked.
He knew his brother was excited to use his gun and exercise his hands, " It's not the right place. " He said, gazing at Rose.
Danil nodded.
" Angelina, You know your duty. " He said.
" Yes sir " She said with a smile. " I'm happy for Rose. " She whispered.
He nodded slightly. He moved with Danil to his office. His father halted his steps in front of him. His father put his hand on his shoulder and patted it. He slightly nodded his head in reply. He has perceived this sign language since his childhood. In fact his brother and Mafia queen is his stepmother too. He met his eyes with his stepmother. He instantly shifted it toward his wife's abloom face. He placed his hand on her nape and kissed her forehead. She giggled making his smile bigger. She put her arms around his abdomen. She was looking extremely happy. He tightened the hug and quickly backed, " Enjoy your time. " He glanced in her eyes.
" Thank you. " She nodded with a smile.

" I got Paul's message. What's the plan now? " Danil asked.
"I'm getting strong intuition. It is not just about taking Revenge from Rose and Angelina. " He said.
" I still can't believe it. Innocent girls like Rose can have enemies. " Kairo said from behind the seat.
" Are you her enemy or well wiser? " He snapped.
" I didn't get it. " Kairo asked with a jittery.
" You know what I'm talking about? I hope you'll not think to repeat this blunder mistake ever again. " He gritted his teeth.
He would definitely slaughter if it wouldn't Kairo. He couldn't tolerate a single tiny nick on her.
" I'm extremely sorry, brother. I was in anger. " He said gloomily.
" Your anger can kill my life. " He said in a controlling voice. But his white knuckles were telling another thing.
" I'll not disappoint you next. " Kairo assured him in a sad voice.
" I believe you. Now stop making faces like a kid. " He smiled.
" If it's not Rose, what can it be? " Danil asked, returning to the point.
" Rose told me. Lamberto promised her. He will send Angelina and her daughter away. But It was he who broke the promise. Our undercover found. He was sending Angelina to the brothel and replacing Angelina with her daughter. " He said.
" Mother****** " Danil said it under his breath.
" I think. It's about power. He's shaking hands with enemies and throwing parties. " He said.
" We need to be more careful. Family is important. It comes first. " Danil said.
" Family is your responsibility. Especially Rose and Mrs. Rodriguez. Did you hear me Kairo?" He said.
" Sure, brother. " Kairo nodded.

They paced toward the car at the office. He trusted Mel. She could keep her safe. He wanted to train Rose. She had given proof of her bravery. This time if something would happen in future. She would be compatible to face it after training.
I have to visit an armor house. She must need a small and killer weapon in a jewelry shape. Our wedding ring is also a weapon. Although she is not aware of it. I should start training her. " He thought and He pulled over the car in front of his office building.
