Chapter Sixty Two

She disconnected the call and didn't wait for his reply. He was in his office and discussing the next project. He dismissed the meeting immediately. He was getting the intuition that her coffee didn't go well there. He picked up his car keys and hand on the glass door. Kairo appeared on the other side, grasping his laptop. He had proved himself loyal in these past days. He was appointed the head of security now.
" Brother, can we talk. It's urgent. " Kairo said.
" Not now. " He said, opening the door wider.
" It's about Hebrew brother. " It halted him. He nodded and got back on his chair again.
Kairo opened his laptop and zoomed in a picture.
He instantly recognized him, " Hebrew. " He said.
Hebrew was in a security dress. He was hiding his face under a black cap but cameras captured him when he raised his head. His beard had grown longer.
" I recognized him with this tag on his t-shirt. " Kairo said, zooming in on his shirt, " Flamingo. " He whispered.
" He's using Michael's security company. " He whispered.
" He's the new owner of it now. I don't know how he did this. But he managed to overtake his security company. It should belong to Rick. " Kairo said.
" Is this outside our house? " He narrowed his eyes on the screen.
" Yes, brother. When You came back home with Rose. It's the footage of that time." Kairo replied.
" Anything else ? " He asked, rubbing his fingers on jaw
" No, brother. " Kairo replied.
He immediately called Paul to be in his office.
" Sir, " Paul knocked on the glass.
" When you were gonna tell me this, Paul? " He scolded him.
" Sir, I messaged you last night about it when you didn't answer my call. " Paul replied.
He swore under his breath, " Any detail? " He asked.
" Not yet sir. He was already gone when our people went there. " Paul replied.
He ran his thumb on the phone screen and hoisted it up.
" Danil! Is Rose fine? I want you to be more careful. Hebrew has been seen around our house. I'm coming home. " He said and disconnected instantly.
He got in his car and ignited it. He sped up his car. Kairo was in the seat next to him. He was moving restlessly on his seat thinking about his wife. All he wanted to do, his wife in front of him. He sped up again.
" Ain't it too fast, brother? " Kairo said.
" I can't slow it down until I see her." He said.
" She must be fine. She's among trusted people. " Kairo said.
" She is. " He assured him.
" I'm sorry, brother for what I did in the past. " He could feel remorse in his sad voice.
" If this time, you deceive our family. I swear, it'd be your last chance. I'll not regret shooting you between your eyes. " He said, fastening his hands on the steering wheel.
" Yeah, " Kairo slowly whispered.
Pulling over his car, he trotted inside. He could listen to the noises as he was approaching them. They were sitting together in the hall.
" Liam, " Rose exclaimed, getting up from the couch.
He wrapped his one arm around her waist tightly, " How was your coffee with your brother and his girlfriend. " He asked.
" It's x, Liam. " Caspian said.
" His X was obsessed with you. " Danil smirked. She glared at Danil.
" You okay? " He asked.
" I am. " She said, tugging herself back.
He glanced at Danil and Caspian to insure the situation. They nodded back at him to tell him, 'all okay'. He replied to him with a slight nod.
" What's going on? " She asked, staring at them.
" It's evening. You are home and your sign language. I'm shocked, you are also part of it Caspian. " She inhaled, making her chest rose.
Caspian and Danil got up from the couch, " When it's about you, we all are together. " Caspian ruffled her hair.
She pouted her lips, getting a bit irritated.
" And what's that? " She raised her eyebrows, scrunching her lips.
Their eyes fixed on him to reply to her.
" You seemed to me upset, when you called. What's the matter? " He asked, giving a turn to her doubt.
" Don't change the topic. " She stared at him, " Or you wanna hide it like always." She sarcastically said.
" Rose, We all care for you. It's not that we're hiding. I don't want this smile to fade away from your face. " He said.
" Do what you want to do. " She plumped down on the couch, crossing her arms over her chest.
" You are still a stubborn kid. " Caspian said, plopping next to her.
" I wasn't. " She said with the same posture.
Caspian took out his phone, after rushing his fingers on it, " See! I've evidence of it. " Caspian showed her childhood picture with the same posture," You are sitting like this in it. " He smiled.
She glanced at it, " Yeah! It is. " She smiled with shock, " But it's not gonna work. I still want to know." She insisted and glanced at him.
Caspian gazed at him. He nodded as approval.
" We spotted Hebrew out of the house. " Caspian said.
She winced but covered it instantly. But he could read her eyes. He saw fear " A.. Angelina, is she fine? " Her stutter evidenced it.
" You can see her in the kitchen. " Danil said, bending his head toward the kitchen.
She moved her eyes in the kitchen and Angelina was preparing the food.
" Hmm, does he want revenge? " She asked Liam.
He sat next to her, " I'm thinking to talk to him and sort the matter peacefully. " He said, gathering her hair back on the shoulder. All eyes were on him now.
" Will this work? " She swallowed hard and stared at him.
" Yes, it will. No more discussion. " He pulled her in a side hug, folding his arm around her shoulder.
Caspian, Danil and Kairo were looking at him with questioning faces.
" I should go to the room. I'm not hungry. I recently have eaten pizza. " She said.
" Okay, " He pecked on her cheek, " Vanessa will be there with you. " He said.
" Okay. " she agreed.
He was beholding her pacing in the room. Door closed behind her.
" Do you know what you said to her? " Caspian asked.
" I know. I've already sent a message in his location. " He said.
" You have his location? " Danil astounded.
" He changed his location every day and the city after four day. If my calculation is right, He must have got my message yet. If he's not replied, we'll stick to our first plan. " He said.
" How will we know? He got your message or not? " Kairo asked.
He smirked, " You'll see it in the morning. " He patted Kairo's shoulder.
He wanted this matter to be over soon by hook or by crook. He couldn't see his wife in dread.
' Hebrew will be dead like his father or he will agree with him. ' he thought.
