Chapter Forty Seven

She hit her back on the mattress. She wasn't alone in her room. Door wasn't locked or closed properly, because of security reasons. She could see four bodybuilders, kinda guards holding guns and guarding the door. Vanessa was sitting in the chair, moving her eyes around although there were only two of them in the room. There was a security troop, which someone had to cross to reach her. She wasn't feeling sleepy. She was used to sleeping when she felt him around her. She was staring at her cell phone. She was in her old room. She pulled out the drawer of nightstand and plucked old dairy from it. She had written everything in it which she remembered about her family. She moved her fingers on the written name Caspian Boo, Rick Boo. She remembered she used to say mom to two women in her childhood days but it had been a blur with the time. All she remembered about them through this dairy or her memories. Tears rippled on the brink of her eyes.
She picked up her phone and stared down at his picture on it, ' Should I call him? He may be busy or sleeping. I don't want to disturb him. It has been more than one day. I didn't see him. I should call, at least I can try. ' She thought and gazed at her phone several times. Finally with a strong determination, she dialed his number and hit call. It was ringing. Her heart was also beating faster with ringtone. It went on voice mail. Hitting red, she slided the phone on the bed. She covered her face under a blanket and let the silent tears fall.

Keeping her memories aside, He rolled up his shirt's sleeves. His coat was resting on the metal chair. Dim light was on in the middle of the room, but the room's corners were still dark. His step mother was standing before him. She wasn't in her normal lifestyle. Her gown was replaced with full black coat pants. Her coat was on a second metal chair. Her jewelry was gone and hair in a low ponytail. She brutally slapped five times, on the women's face. Sound of her slaps reverberated in the dungeon.
" Don't compel me to be worse. Answer my questions. " Olivia said with a loud, unique, sharp tone.
" Okay, " Woman whispered. Her face was bruised with Olivia's slaps. No one touched the woman except Olivia.
" Why did you try to kill Rose? " Olivia asked her.
" Hebrew doesn't wanna kill her. It's not Hebrew. " Woman replied.
Olivia backed her arm and came with full force, " Don't lie. " Olivia grasped her jaw tightly in her hand.
" We should learn from our mother to torture enemies." Danil smirked, whispering in his ear.
He glanced at Danil to them. His full attention was on them, " I'm not lying. Hebrew has eyes on her. He'll not harm her. It's some mobsters from India who wanted to kill her " She replied.
Her words boiled his blood. He never raised his hand on a woman. Today he wanted to empty his gun on her mouth. " What did you say? " He moved with anger.
" Brother! It can be her plan. " Danil held him by arms.
" I'm not planning. I couldn't tolerate it. Hebrew beat me when the mirror cut Rose's feet. He said it's my fault, I could not take care of her. Hebrew doesn't want to kill her. He just wanted to kidnap her. When I came to know Bang mobster wanted to kill her. I changed my loyalty. I tried to be loyal to my job. I liked Travis and his company. I wanted to settle with him. But Hebrew has my family. I couldn't go against him. " Tears rolled down her eyes.
" What do you know about it? Why did they want to kill her? " He slammed his hand in rage at the metal table.
Olivia slapped her one more time " Answer him Mel. " She ordered.
" I've told you everything. Please, let me go. I really don't know, please." Mel pleaded while crying loudly.
" Todd! Send her to Hebrew. He knows better than us what to do if she's not lying." Olivia shouted orders.
Todd started to haul her out of the dungeon, " Please, don't do this. Hebrew will make my life hell. He will sell me. Please, I've told you everything. Please.. Please.... " Her screams were echoing in the dungeon.
It's not good to send her to Hebrew. We don't know where he is. What if she's telling the truth? He thought.
" Paul! Send her away from our lives where she could not even reach back here again. It's her decision what kind of life she wants to spend. If she found doing something against us again. Kill her. " He said.
" Yes, sir. " Paul said, rushing behind them.
He heard his footsteps going out. He raked his hair, " Are you sure brother? " Danil asked.
He nodded, " Danny! I want information about this Bang mobster. " He ordered.
Danny instantly settled in the chair, digging his eyes on the laptop and rushing his fingers.
" Are you sure about it? " Olivia asked him, pointing at the door.
He nodded, " I'm going to Goa. " He said, picking his coat from the chair.
" She'd be back, almost on her way to home, on your reaching time. " Danil said.
" I can't take any risk. She's among unknown enemies. " He paced toward the door. He fished for his phone and found one miss call from his wife. He cursed under his breath. At once, he hit the call back. She instantly answered it.
" Are you all right? " He hastened his words.
He heard her sweet laughter, " I'm not always in trouble. "
" Is everything fine there? " he put the same question again as she wasn't answering what he wanted to get.
" If you wanna know about the security system. Call your security. You've dialed a wrong number Mr. Husband. " he could hear her giggle.
He adored the fearless and teasing side of her. He gained it after a lot of struggle and patience. It pulled his lips in a huge smile, " Are you missing me? " He asked.
" Yes, " After a long pause she replied.
" Why did it take so long, babe. " He asked with a smile. Her voice alighted his head from the worries.
" It was a heavy question. " he could feel her hesitation.
He allowed a laugh to jump out of his lips, " Heavy? It's a normal question. " He couldn't rein his laugh this time.
" I met Hacker. He presented me with my wedding gift. When I was fifteen. I went to meet him at his workplace. It was a jewelry store. I saw an Amethyst ring there. I wanted to buy it but couldn't. He gave me the same ring today. " She said, he felt her sadness but with sheer happiness.
" Are you happy? " He closed his eyes, dreaming of her smile.
" Ye...... Oh My God! Kairo, " She screamed.
He snapped open her eyes. Consternation in her voice made his heart faster, " Rose?! " He loudly said, " Rose! What happened? Dammit! " He exasperatedly kicked with his shoe.
" What happened? " Danil asked him, rushing at his side.
" Give me your phone. " He hastily said.
Danil immediately put his hand in his pocket.
" Take mine. " Oliva said, putting her phone on her palm.
He took it and dialed Travis's number. He didn't answer it, " Something is wrong." He said. He was fearing that Karo had betrayed them again. He agreed to give him last chance because his father wanted this and Rose too.
" Let me try Vanessa's number. " Olivia said. He gave her her phone.
Several minutes passed. He did not remove his phone from his ear, " Liam... Leave me, I'm no...." He heard her feeble voice.
" Rose, Rose, talk to me. " He said. Phone disconnected. He cursed. He punched her number again and it went on voice mail. " I'll kill everyone if she gets a small contuse. " he raked his hair and fisted his phone. Issuing orders, he rushed out of the dungeon.
