Chapter Sixty One

She was looking at her reflection on the mirror. She was in a saffron dress, her hair was fully straight.
" You are looking pretty. " Angelina said.
" Have I picked the right dress to meet my brother's future wife? " she asked, turning from Angelina to back on the mirror. She ran her hand on her stomach.
" It's a beautiful dress. I think it's perfect. " Angelina said.
" You think! Um, I'm missing mom. She always knows which dress is suitable. " She contorted her lips.
" Ma'am, Your brother is waiting. " Vanessa said, stepping in her room.
She unplugged her phone. Grabbing her clutch bag from the table, she put her phone in it. She sauntered in her heels toward the hall. Caspian was in black suit. She rolled her eyes, seeing him again in black.
" Again black. " She said and hugged her brother.
" Hey! I love black. " He hugged her back, " How are you, Roselyn. " her brother asked, pulling back and gazing at her face.
" I'm more nervous than your girlfriend. " She said, shrugging her one shoulder.
" She's from a normal world. She should be worried, not you princess. " Caspian said, Putting his arm around her shoulder and leading her toward his car.
Sahil opened the door for her, " Hello Sahil. " She smiled and thought about how this man survived this cruel world. He sacrificed many things. He could see his son growing in front of him. Only to fulfill his duty toward his boss, he sent away his own blood, his son to protect his boss's daughter. Hacker had been a great brother. He never let anyone bully her. He protected her inside or outside the orphanage. It was he, who once shouted at Isha when she was once fed up being his doll and refused to wear her choice of dress.
She got in the car and put on her seat belt, " Where is Hacker? " She asked.
" He's taking care of the business in Goa." Caspian said.
" Fishing business? " She said in a sarcastic tone.
Her brother laughed, " You know what business, Princess. " He quickly glanced at her.
" You all are experts in your business. Hacker didn't let me ever know he was pretending to be an orphan like um.... " She stopped.
" You're not an orphan. Our parents are not part of this world. But I'm both Dad and maa for you. I'll always protect you and try to keep you happy. " He said.
" You have. Although you weren't with me. You were in Hacker shape, Mr Fernandez and Ana. " She smiled.
" You have maa's eyes. " He said and ruffled her hair, " Don't mind. You're always like a baby to me. " He smirked.
" That's why I kept them straight. " She grinned, " I didn't buy anything for Emilia. "
" Look at the back seat," He beckoned with his head at the back seat.
" Wao! Chocolates and Red roses. " She exclaimed.
" I should buy two boxes. " He said, looking at the happy face of her.
" Caspian! " She stared at him.
" Yes " He chuckled.
" I never presented a gift to Liam. He always gives me surprises and gifts. " She sadly said.
" You can buy anything for him. " He said, stopping the car at a red signal.
" I wanna give him a present with my earned money. " she said.
" Sorry, Princess. You are not doing any job. Besides, You can cook for him his favorite food. " He suggested.
" He loves crabs. I hated them. Once I tried to do cooking for him. I couldn't cook crab but I killed an egg for his breakfast. He tasted it and said that it was fab but he enacted. I'll not cook ever again, " She jutted out her lips, staring out at the traffic.
" Well! I agree with him. You can hurt yourself in the kitchen, you know. " He said. Driving his car again after getting a green signal.
She glared at him, " I'm not a kid. " She said.
" For me, you are. " He ruffled her hair again and parked the car in the parking lot.
She looked around the parking lot and found it void, " Why are there no other vehicles? * She asked.
" Because I booked the whole cafe. It's booked for us today . " He said, getting out of the car.
" But why? Do you always meet her like this? " She asked, closing the door of the car and walking at her brother.
" No, I mostly met her solo. " He said, picking flowers and chocolate box from the back seat
" Then all this is because of me. " She said with the whim of disappointment.
" Don't be sad. We don't want any harm to you. Enemies are still out somewhere. " He said, tugging her toward the cafe.
" Don't tell me your WE is including you and Liam " She taunted.
" Of course. " He smiled.
She spotted a black short hair girl, sitting alone on the table. Her eyes were on her phone's screen. She had white skin, sharp nose. There was dark red lipstick on her lips, she was in black dress. She didn't like her much. She was giving her negative vibes.
" She's beautiful. Is that she? " She asked, staring at her. She did not want to break the heart of her brother.
" Of course she is. Don't make her nervous with your stare. " He said.
" Here it starts the brother sister part, when he gives instructions to you before meeting with his girlfriend." She said raising her hand and bringing it back less than a second.
" Hello, baby. " Emilia stood up immediately hearing him with a broad nervous smile. Caspian hugged her and quickly peck on her lips. " Meet my sister, Roselyn. " He smiled, " Roselyn, She's Emilia. " He was shifting his eyes on them.
" Hello, nice to meet you. " Emilia smiled, extending her hand at her.
She ignored her hand and embraced her, " Me too, Emilia. "
Caspian was looking relieved when he saw both talking like old friends. He ordered a latte for Rose and coffee for himself and Emilia. She could do anything for his brother. She smiled when she found her brother getting tension free on his seat.
" How do you both meet? " She asked.
" I was in Goa to attend my online friend's wedding. We met there. " Emilia shyly replied. She saw her white skin of cheeks turning red.
" That's cute. " She smiled.
" Thank you. " Emilia stared down at her ring, " So headlines were true. Liam Rodriguez put a pink diamond in his future to be wife's finger. " She astounded.
" I didn't know about the headlines. First I thought it was a pink sapphire. " She answered her genuinely.
" Really! This was on the first page. Millions of girls' hearts were broken that day. " She said.
" Don't tell me you were also one of them. " Caspian glared at her.
" No! My friend, roommate Tina told me all this. She blab about him all the time." Emilia smiled and put her hand on his hand. He held it in his hand. She shifted her eyes in her lap.
She couldn't constrain on the little get together anymore. She was feeling low suddenly. She was always thinking Liam should be with someone more elegant and more of his type. Emilia was a cheering girl. Maybe she guessed her wrong. She could make sad people laugh and she took away his unease instantly. she thought. She didn't want to be the reason for their conflict between them after she left them alone. So she tried her best to be in here, not lost in her niggling. She glanced at the watch.
" I should leave you lovebirds alone now. " she said and got up from the chair.
" No, you can't go like this. Danil is attending his conference in a nearby hotel. Let me call him. " He said and excused himself. He took out his phone and went away to make a call.
She was feeling awkward being alone with her. She was expecting new hit with her stupid question or unwanted collection of information.
" So, Rose. How are you feeling? I mean, first you were in an orphanage, then you were in a rich family. And Now, " Emilia joined her hands together and rested her chin on it. She was evilly staring at her. " Girls are still wishing him to be single, you know. I'm just saying the fact what I'm hearing around. You're the wife of most eligible bachelors. What do you want from Caspian, his money or what? "
Her bitterness in tongue and stupid meaningless question astounded her, " Excuse me. " She pursed her lips.
" You heard me right Rose. What do you want from Caspian? " She tilted her head.
" He's my brother. " She snapped.
" Richest man in Goa. You've already broken millions girls' hearts, marrying LIAM. " Emilia said his name as it tasted honey on her tongue.
" You are a jerk. " She snapped.
Emilia grimaced her face. Then suddenly came back to sweetness, " It's really nice to meet you. I'm glad you came and agreed to meet me. I hope we'll see each other soon. " She smiled.
" Princess, " When she heard it, She considered why her expressions changed suddenly.
" I should go. " She picked her clutch and walked toward the way where she came from.
" You can't go. Denil is only five minutes away. " Caspian said, walking along her.
She did not utter and stopped near her car which Travis was driving Vanessa was standing beside Travis.
" Roselyn stop. What's wrong? " Caspian said, loudly.
Meanwhile, Danil's car screeched to a stop. She looked at his car and then back at his brother.
" I don't wanna hurt you. But…. She's not good for you. '' she said and scurried toward Danil's car. His man opened the door. She hurriedly got in the car. Caspian was stood there blinking.
" Don't put any question. " She said, putting her seat belt on.
" What's wrong? " Danil smirked, driving the car.
" Danil! " She glared at him.
" I'm trying to light your disturb mood. " He said.
" What was Liam's status when I wasn't part of his life. " She asked.
" He hadn't dated anyone. I know it's hard to believe but it's the truth. You are the only girl in his life. " He said humorlessly.
" And what about the girls. I mean, was he the most eligible bachelor? " She asked, clenching her clutch between her fingers. She was hating it, other girls imagining themselves with him.
" Girls are crazy about him. " He smirked.
" And waiting for my death. " She whispered.
" I heard you Rose. What happened there? " Danil asked.
" I think Emilia, Caspian girlfriend doesn't like me. " She replied, looking out of the window.
" Then she must be some evil soul. Caspian should stay away from her. " Danil said, glancing at her and getting back toward the road.
" I don't know. If they're going to be a couple. His wedding will be the last place where I will see him. " She was disappointed.
" I don't think so. " Danil said.
" Hope so. " She crossed her fingers.
Caspian was the only family she had left. Although, there was Rick and his wife, daughter Emerald. She was afraid to lose her brother. She was thinking over whatever that girl said to her about Liam. Though they were happy now but in the past she strongly believed he should be with someone else. That thought was still overpowering her mind.
Will Liam leave me one day? She still remembered the feeling when he left her alone in Lilly mansion alone. She thought he left her. But luckily he did not. But there wasn't everything permanent in this world. What would she do if he started liking someone else. Wouldn't it ruin her?
" We are home. " Danil said.
" Where's he? " She asked.
" Not in this city. " He said.
" What? " She said out louder.
" Relax! He'll be back till night. " Danil smirked.
She got out of the car. She was almost languished with all the thoughts processed in her brain. She didn't know what he did and went all day except his office work. If she would try to he'd not allow her and wouldn't share any information with her. She always observed other couples. They did not hide anything from each other. Not like her who did not know where her husband was right now. She walked in and dialed his number.
" Hey, babe.. " His calm voice came through the phone's speaker.
" Hey! "
" How was your coffee with Caspian and his girlfriend? "
She paused before answering, " Um nice. " She sighed heavily.
" You can't lie to me. What happened? "
" Did Danil tell you? "
" Should I call him to ask the matter? "
" No, I'll wait for you at dinner. " Tears slipped from her eyes.
" Are you alright! "
" Yeah, bye. " she disconnected the call without waiting for his reply.
She turned and Caspian was standing there.
" You should not come here, leaving your girlfriend behind. " She said slowly.
" I'm not seeing her anymore. I'm sorry. I shouldn't be so careless leaving you with her alone. " he said disappointedly.
' Like she was going to murder me. ' she frowned.
He played recordings from his phone. She could hear her taunts again clearly. " Believe me Roselyn if Liam would not be good for you. I'd never let this marriage happen, no matter what? " Caspian told her.
She knew he was capable of doing it, " I'm not upset with him, or Emilia. She said what people thought. " She replied.
" No, people don't. Only a cheap mentality like her can think so. " Danil smirked.
" I don't know. When It was starting time of our relationship. I myself wanted him to be with someone else which he actually deserved. " She shrugged her shoulders.
"So you're not happy with him. You wanna part from him. " Caspian asked, folding his arms.
" No, I didn't say so. " She squeaked.
" Then, it's final. You'll not think over it. Okay? " He said.
" Yes, " She nodded her head.
" Well, I'm glad it settled out. " Danil said, stepping in her room, " You need an Innocent girl like your sister. "
" I'll keep in mind next time. " Caspian smiled.
" Did you break up with her? Did she boil up? " She asked, chewing her lip.
Both chuckled, " You should ask, Is she in her grave? Right Caspian? " Danil chuckled.
" Right. " Caspian chuckled.
" Worse joke. " She glared at both.
" I've ordered pizza. Wanna join. " Danil asked.
" Sure. " Caspian said.
