Chapter Fifty Seven
Her eyes were wide open and glaring out at the sky. There were clouds, she was finding different images from the clouds. Glancing at the clock, she stepped out of the mattress. She took a long time to select a dress for her. It has been getting cold outside these days. She picked up black jeans and full sleeves dark blue top and sauntered toward the washroom.
When she reached the hall, she roamed her eyes around. There was no one visible in the house. She hurriedly finished her breakfast. Vanessa was standing behind her. She was planning to meet Alena and her niece Emerald. She grabbed her purse and paced out.
" Ma'am, Boss has said, you can't go out for some days. " Vanessa said, stopping her.
She stopped at the threshold and roamed her eyes in the lawn. There was security in black uniform after four steps. It was looking more like a military station than his mansion. She whirled and glared at her. She went inside the house. She found what she was looking for. She knew Vanessa was behind her. She was making plans to get rid of her first. She looked down at her hands. She could survive without her purse.
" Put it back at the exact place. " She almost ordered Vanessa, giving her the purse.
Vanessa held it from her and went in her cupboard which was almost a room. When Vanessa got in. There was a victory smile on her face. She didn't want it to fade away. She tossed the keys in her hands and rushed at the parking lot. She pressed the button on the car key and got in the car. Getting in the car, she put on the seat belt and drove out of the garage. She blew the horn as guards resided on the main iron gate. When they didn't obey her. She reversed the car.
" I'm gonna crush it.'' She said with a smile and drove at full speed. Abruptly, Liam stood between the car and the iron gate. She instantly pulled the breaks. Car halted with a jolt. Her body pulled ahead but the seat belt helped her to stay on her seat. Her eyes grew bigger. She was staring at Liam whose arms were folded, showing his menace look. He was deadly glaring at her. She swallowed hard. He took long strides toward her. His posture didn't change a bit. Her heart started to quiver inside her chest as dogs were chasing to eat it. She was frightened of him. His deadly glare didn't blink nor remove from her. She took away the seat belt with shaking hands. When she reached to open the door. Vanessa was standing there. She glared at her. She opened it. She got out, but Liam was towering over her. He clenched her forearm. She felt the pain. She pulled away from his hold. Instead, he tightened it. She could sense his angry and cold glare on her. He started to haul her inside.
" Let go of me. " She said, trying to match with his steps and unfurling her arm from his firm painful grip. He yanked her, pulling her toward him. " What's wrong with you? Leave me. " Tears swam her eyes, making small streams down her cheeks.
He was hauling her. She was struggling to match with his steps. Her arm was hurting. She was sure she'd get the marks. He did not stop on the stairs. She stumbled on the stairs and fell, hitting her knees on the edge of the stairs. She squealed. He whirled back with the same expression. He pulled her up by arm. She staggered. He tightened his second arm around her waist and threw her on his shoulder. She screamed loudly. She lifted her head and gazed at sloped stairs with horror.
" Put me down, " She sobbed.
He was drafted to it. He propelled her on the mattress.
" How dare you? " He said in a harsh tone, aging her between his arms on the mattress. His legs were straddled around her thighs.
She tried to speak but could not pour out a word with fear.
" What happened? " Kairo shouted, coming into the room.
He gave Kairo a cold glare which ordered him to step back. Danil came into the room with an astounded look.
She was shivering under him. She looked at Danil with beseeching eyes.
" Rose, " Danil said, " Brother, calm down. She's scared, look at her. " He astoundingly said.
She tightened her eyes shut, " Rose, open your eyes, " Danil said it slowly.
She opened her eyes. Liam wasn't there. Danil helped her to get up. She found him near the door. Tears were falling down, " I I..... "
" He's pissed off. Don't, " Danil said and put his fingers on her mouth.
" Danil! " Liam said loudly in rage.
He instantly removed his hand from her mouth.
" I d don't wan- na s stay he reee.. " She stuttered while weeping.
" Out, " Liam enraged. His teeth were ground.
" N n no! D don't go p lease. " She wrapped her hands around Danil's arm.
" Relax, He'll not hurt you. " Danil said.
" H he alre-ady had. " She whispered.
Liam stepped closer. He held her hands. Danil walked away. She was shaking her head, beckoning him not to go. Danil glared at Vanessa. He gripped her by the arm and tugged her out of the room. Kairo glanced at her sadly and followed Danil closing the door behind him. Her heart plummeted. There was no one who could save her from his wrath.
" Stop crying. " He demanded.
She could sense his rage in his tone. She pulled her hands away. He held it firmly. " Stop, " She heard him again. Her eyes were on the ground. She was frightened to look at him. Instead her sobs got louder.
" Stop it. " He punched on the wall, making it shattered.
She clasped her hand on her mouth. She was hiccuping with every breath. His hot and fast breath was hitting on her forehead. Her eyes were closed. ' Next punch will hit me. Next punch will hit me.' She was recalling it. She felt his hands on the hem of her jeans toward the button.
" W w what are you doing? " She pulled herself away from his touch and hit the wall. She fell on the ground. Her knees were hurting. Her jeans were torn from her knees. She could see blood.
" You are wounded. " He said, taking steps.
" S stay aw ay. " Her words stop him.
" It's impossible, babe. " He said and picked her up again. He laid her on mattress and pulled out the drawer from a small table. He took out the scissors.
Her chest filled with fear. She tried to run away. He held her by her leg, " I'm sorry. I'm sorry. " She squeaked.
He firmly held her and cut her jeans till her knees. She covered her eyes with her hands. She screamed when she felt the cold metal against her skin. Her squeals were heard out of the door. He did with the second side. He touched her knees. She opened her eyes, removing hands. When she understood. He wasn't hurting her. She sat calmly, gawking at him. Her sobs were still reaching into his ears and tears were falling down. He took out the first aid box. He treated her scratched skin on her knees. When he was done there putting cream on it. He held her arms. She knew she must have gotten bruises. He folded up the sleeve of her top. She pulled back her hand because of the surge of the pain. It was badly crimson red. There were three stripes of light red marks of fingers. He sighed deeply. His hot breath touched her crimson red. It was burning when he put the ointment on it. Tears welled out again. He paced toward the cupboard. He took out a new white dress. He walked back toward the bed.
" Let me help you. " He said.
" I.... h don't.... "
" I don't need your approval. You are my wife. " He snapped and bent down, switching off the lights.
.
.
She was shivering under his hands. He could clearly see her without the lights as it was day. He saw fear in his eyes from him and perhaps, hatred. He couldn't direct his ire. He had told her to not go anywhere without security, still she wanted to break his rules. He was hating himself for hurting her. He always claimed not to harm her. He failed in it. In his cholar, he forgot, it was she, his wife, and the love of life. She wasn't ready to comprehend the meaning of his stress. He wasn't capable of bearing the pain of her being apart from her.
" You're cruel. " She said when his hand was on the door knob.
" You haven't seen one percent of cruelty from me yet. " He said, locked the door behind him. His hands were fisted. He scooted toward the dungeon. He stopped a bit astound when he saw his mother Lilly standing in the hall. First time, he saw anger instead of a smile. Ignoring her, he started his pace.
" What did you do to her? " She asked with harshness in her voice.
" None of your business. " He snapped.
" It's my business, Liam. I can hear her screams from here. How could you treat your wife like this? " She glared at him.
" How could? Who is asking? Who left her born kid in his dear friend's lap, who was the wife of her kid's father. " He sarcastically said.
" We did. What was good for you. Olivia loves you. You didn't respect her love. " She said.
" I don't have time for all this. Feel like home, Mrs. Lilly Harris. " He said in taunting words and made his way toward the dungeon.
He sat on the metal chair. He plucked the sharp knife. Taking it in his one hand. He gave a deep cut on the second hand with whom he hauled her, made her fall on the stairs. Blood was dripping in a small stream, gathering down. It made a small pool on the hard concrete floor.
" Sir, " Paul came into the dungeon hall with a glass and bottle of whiskey. He set it on the table. " Sir, you're.. . "
" Out, " He said in a raspy voice.
He held the glass in the wounded one. It was instantly covered with his blood. He clenched it tightly, glass wrecked in his hand, wrung more blood from the wound and created new tiny wounds.
" Brother! " Kairo hunkered down near his chair and held his hand. Danil squatted on the other side of the chair.
" We can't see you like this. " Danil said.
" Go away. I didn't invite anyone. " He harshly said.
" We are not going anywhere. " Kairo said.
Kairo held his hand. Danil took out the pieces of glass from his hand, " There are deep cuts. You did it intentionally. " Danil asked.
" How is she? " He asked, closing his eyes.
" I called the doctor. She's fine and sleeping. She was scared, so the doctor injected her. You need stitches. " Danil suggested.
" No, " He pulled his hand back. He picked up the bottle of whisky and drank from the whole bottle.
Danil called the doctor and asked him to give him quick stitches as his eyes were closed. When the doctor was binding the last stitch, his eyes opened and he pulled his hand out. He took out his gun, " Run, before I shoot you. " He raged.
Doctor ran away for his life leaving his stuff back. He didn't look back.
Getting on his feet, he paced out of the dungeon, " She must have been slept. ' He murmured.
He holstered his gun and gripped the doorknob. He extended his strides toward her. He brought his hand near her face. His eyes laid in the marks on her forearm. He pulled his hand back. He sat on the couch. He gazed at her until his eyes got heavy.
He was feeling her soft touch on his hard hand. He snapped open his eyes and saw her squatted down before him. His hand was in her hand. She was making a knot of the last stitch which he didn't allow the doctor to do. While making the knot, she was giving expressions as knots were made on her wound. He didn't stop her. She was unaware of him and doing it.
" What are you doing? " He said.
She jolted and gave a small squeal, " I'm I'm. . .. Good mor-ning. " She blinked trice.
He raised his eyebrows, '' It's not the answer to my question. " He said, drawing his face down near her, almost bending over her body.
" Um, your hand. It's um.. . " She gulped. She was giving her widened eyes stare at him, " How did this happen? " she asked.
He creased his brows, " Get ready. " He said, lifting her off the ground, " Can you walk? " he asked.
She nodded and looked at him through the corner of her eyes. " I shouldn't do this, " He whispered, touching her face with his thumb.
He walked away from her as his phone pinged. He paced out of the room to attend the call.
After ending the call, he came back to the room. She was sitting on the couch and Danil was sitting on the table in front of her.
" Next time, you'll tell Liam or me if you wanna go out without security. Promise me. " Danil asked, extending his hand.
His family adored her, he knew it. He couldn't control last night and wanted to smack Danil when his hand was on her lips. Possessiveness was just a word for him but everytime he felt it when another man came near her. He trusted his brothers. Still he couldn't help that feeling.
" Promise, " She replied with a smile, putting her hand on his fingers, " What happened to his hand? " She asked.
He didn't want to know her, " Danil, " He said loudly.
" Good morning, brother. " Danil flinched and took his hand away.
He strode, stopping before him, " Morning, " he put his hand on his shoulder. " She can go out with you if she wants. " He said. Both were exchanging shocked looks. He ignored it.

She was sitting on a chair, waiting for her food. She was in a grass green polka dot dress. It was showing her half thighs while sitting on the chair. Her wavy hair was falling like a cascade on her back. His eyes met with her. She instantly fixed her gaze on the tablet, which Kairo was holding. He could see her uneasiness. He was in the kitchen wearing an apron, making pasta and spaghetti. He mostly cooked when he felt extremely happy or broken. He asked the maid to serve the food. He removed the apron and came back to his room. He donned his black coat pants. His eyes rested on her white dress. He could see blood on it's bottom hem. It was her blood. He closed his eyes and exhaled deeply. He wanted to say sorry to her which he never used in his life. He turned the knob and descended the stairs. He buttoned his coat. Danil and Kairo were already eating their food. She didn't touch her plate. He skidded his chair near her and sat.
