Chapter Forty Six
She hurriedly put on her black sandals and rushed down through the regal stairs. Her mother in law was waiting for her down in the Hall. When she reached the hall. Olivia was sitting on the couch, eyes on the latest magazine. She saw a new face standing behind the couch.
" Mom, " She smiled while inhaling deeply.
" Rose, are you alright? You still need rest, you can't run like this. " Olivia stared at her.
" Yeah, mom. Don't worry. It's just stairs. " She tried to show it normal. Her rapid breaths made it unsuccessful.
" Hmm, this is Vanessa Hudgens. She's your new bodyguard. " Olivia said with her usual smile.
" What happened with Mel? " She befuddled, " Is she alright? " Mel did wrong to her, still she was not ready to punish her.
" Vanessa, " Olivia gesticulated at Vanessa. She left immediately, " Rose! Mel was a spy. She was working for Hebrew. Poison, your kidnapping all this was Hebrew's plan and she was acting according to him in this house." Olivia told her.
" I know. I saw her with Lamberto that night. " She whispered, recalling that night, " And I heard someone saying, poison isn't enough, kill Angelina, something…." She gazed up at her mother in law. Who was elegantly towering over her now.
" That was me. I have seen her real face. She was making you poison. I thought Liam would have told you everything. " Olivia clenched the back of the magazine in both of her hands, " Anyway! I hope you'll like Vanessa. She is Nicholas's bodyguard's daughter and trusted one. " She smiled at her.
" Mom, um, Angelina?" She looked at her with positivity as she was fearing they'd killed her. Because she had been in Lamberto's house for a long time.
" She's out of hospital. She wanted to meet her daughter. So, she's in London now. If you want her here, we can cancel her holidays. " Olivia suggested.
" No, she was missing her daughter. It's totally fine, mom. " She told Olivia.
" Ma'am, " Vanessa said.
" Are you ready to go shopping? " Olivia asked. She nodded immediately, " There's your bag. " Olivia said.
She picked her bag from the table, " I guess. " She whispered.
" Your gun? " Olivia asked.
" It's in my bag. " She said, looking for it in her bag.
" Well! Enjoy your shopping. " Olivia caressed her cheek.
She smiled and paced toward the door. When she stood near her car. She noticed a large number of bodyguards. This incident had changed her life. She wasn't objecting it. She wasn't used to it but she had seen him when she was in the hospital. She was feeling a little upset to know Liam never shared things which her mother in law recently told her. It frustrated her.
Someone opened the door for her. She brought a smile on her face and raised her eyelashes, " Than.... Travis! Are you okay? " It slipped from her mouth.
His sad face told her that he had understood what she wanted to know, " I'm fine, ma'am. Thank you. " He was pretending to smile.
" Ma'am, should sit in the front seat. I'll drive. You should get in the back seat, boy. " Vanessa rudely told him.
" You can't talk to him like this. " She snapped.
" We are partners in this job. " Travis glared at her.
" I'm driving. " Vanessa said to him.
" I'm driving the car. You both! On the back seat " She said, opening the door of the driver seat and beckoning with her thumb at the backseat to them.
" Olivia ma'am will fire us or worse kill us. If something happened to you. " Vanessa's face fell.
" I want the first invitation of the first row, please. " She mocked, putting on her seat belt, she turned the key, " I'm not gonna wait for you. " She raced it.
They both got in the car exchanging astonished looks. She sped up the car and after some time, she slowed it down. She was watching the tail of three cars following her which made her laugh loudly.
" Let me drive ma'am. " Travis said.
" Olivia ma'am gonna scold us. " Vanessa nervously said.
" Oh! I forgot to tell one thing. I don't have a driving licence. " She smirked, watching their reaction of faces through the rear view mirror.
" Then let me drive ma'am. By the way, we are in the wrong direction. " Travis said.
" I forgot one more thing. I don't know the way wherever we are going. I mean I don't know where the mall is. " She added.
" Stop her, Travis. Boss will murdered us and our family will not get our dead bodies. " She could see fear on Vanessa's face.
" I heard you. " She gave her a tough look.
" You need to shut the fu** up. " Travis whispered.
" I heard you, too. " She smiled.
" Sorry, ma'am. " Travis said.
Her phone rang in her purse. She unzipped her bag. She fished it. Clicking on the answer, she put it on her ear.
" I'm busy. " She said.
" Why are you driving and where are you going? " Liam asked.
" How can I tell? I don't know the route. I'm busy, by the way. " She shook her head, pressing her lips together.
" What's wrong with you, Rose? " He got irritated
" Um, why should I tell you? " She retorted.
" I'm your husband, Rose. "
" I'm doing the same as you do. " She disconnected it and plunged it on the next seat. It rang again. She disregarded it on purpose. Suddenly, Travis' phone rang. She knew who was it?
Travis was guiding him from the back seat. Abruptly, a stylish car stopped in front of her car. Knowingly, she smiled to think who's car was this. Liam got out of his car. His face was red with rage and hands were fisted. He opened the door to her side. It wasn't a crowded road and she was relieved about it. She didn't want to create any scene. She could feel his glare on her.
" Is boss gonna..... " Vanessa started.
" Shut up." Travis whispered, scolding Vanessa.
She closed the door again. She listened sharply inhaled from the back seat. She giggled. But covered it instantly.
Liam opened the door and bent down. He scooped her up from the seat, " Put me down. I'm getting late for my shopping. " She wiggled in his arms.
" Why are you doing this? " He asked.
" Because, you are hiding things. "
" What are they? "
" About Mel and she. " she pointed at Vanessa, " I don't want her. " She crossed her arms.
" It's your flight at night, I can allow if you'll not stir up mischief. " He whispered while smiling.
She was squinting at him, " Fine, " She rolled her eyes and pursed her lips.
" Why are you not coming with me? " she was looking everywhere but not him.
" Hebrew was seen in Mexico yesterday morning. I've to catch him. No one knows about this trip. So you'll be fine. Believe me I wanna come but….. " He lifted her head, closer to his face.
He gesticulated at Travis, nodding his head. Travis opened the back door.
Before putting her on the back seat. Liam quickly pecked on her lips. Astonishingly, she became numb in his arms. There was an evil smirk on his lips. Putting her down on the seat, he closed the door.

Altar was set in the lawn where their childhood was spent. The trio used to play here till dinner got ready after school. Cool breeze was brushing her hair behind her shoulders. She shut her eyes and imagined his face before boarding in his private plane. He tightly hugged her, almost ribs breaking. She rubbed her hands on her arms, missing his arms around her.
" Do you still like this cool breeze and solitude environment of the night. " Male voice came from behind.
" Hacker! Is that you? " She asked with a smile and whirled to see him.
" Obviously, sister. " He said, spreading his arms in the air.
" You didn't pay any visit nor attended my wedding. " She complained, hugging him.
" I'm sorry, sister. Your husband took the decision hastily. " He hugged her back.
" Invitation reached to you. Now don't make a new excuse that you could not afford the plane ticket." She exhaled deeply.
" I'm glad that you missed me at your wedding." He said, holding her shoulder.
" No, I did not." She wrinkled her lips, while giving him her cold stare.
" You are not here to kidnap her again. " Kairo said from behind.
" Of course not. She's someone's wife now. I don't want her husband to kick my a**. " He smirked and stuck out his hand. They did handshakes like businessmen do.
" Well! I have something for you sister. It's your wedding gift. I know you don't accept gifts. But it's your wedding gift. You can't deny it. " Hacker said, fishing something in his coat's pocket, " Yes, I got it. " He said.
He took out his hand and opened his fist, showing black small velvet box. He put it in her hand, " Open it. " He said.
" I don't want it. You didn't come. " She contorted her face and put it back in his hands.
" Please, sister! Don't do this. I came here from Mumbai to meet you. " He coaxed.
" I don't know, " She turned to walk away.
" Will you make me cry sister? " Hacker made an Innocent face. Which he always used to do in childhood days when she got upset with him.
She whirled and folded her arms, " Fine! " She exclaimed, pressing her lips strongly.
Hacker offered her the box. She plucked it from his hand and opened it. She inhaled sharply, " You remember this. " She asked with watery eyes.
" Of course! When you first saw it. You wished to purchase it. " Hacker smiled.
Teardrops fell from her eyes, " It looked the same. " She blinked the tears.
" I bought it from the same shop where I used to work at that time on the weekends. Do you like it? "He asked her.
" I love it. " She smiled with tears. It was a small solitaire amethyst ring in gold.
" I know your husband can buy anything for you in this world. I reckoned it as your wedding gift. I'm elated. You liked it. " He said, smiling like a teenager.
" It means a lot to me brother. Thank you. " She gave him a quick hug.
His phone beeped in his pocket. He took it out, " I have to go. " He said, lifting the display of his phone screen.
" Aren't you attending the wedding. " She was astonished.
" I have work to do. Your safety is my priority. I'm attending this wedding as your bodyguard." He smirked.
" Brother assigned him the security head. " Kairo said, who was standing there and watching them.
" Hebrew will not come to Goa. " She said, remembering what Liam told her.
" You don't know anything. We have already fought a battle against him and his men. " Hacker said.
" What? What are you saying? " She asked.
" You should enjoy the wedding, Rose. " Kairo said, his arms were folded over his muscular chest.
" Kairo is the right, sister. You shouldn't put yourself in it. " Hacker said.
" It's ridiculous. No one told me anything. " She irked.
" Because that is not our place to tell you anything. " Kairo said.
" It's in Liam's hand. Sorry sister. Liam is always right. You should listen to him. If he's making a decision to keep you away from this fuss. Then you should. " Hacker said.
" Are you my side? " She was frustrated.
" I'm always, sister. " Hacker smirked.
" You should rest, Rose. You are still weak. " Kairo said, taking steps toward them.
" Don't load your brain pumpkin. Good night " Hacker ruffed her hair, remembering her memories with her real brother, who ruffled her hair.
It pulled a smile on her lips, " Good night. " She muttered and walked toward her room. Her security troop circled her.
