Chapter Sixty

He came back house and headed toward his study. He had already asked his father for suggestions, any idea, anything that could help them to track down the Hebrew as his best way wasn't helping them. Hebrew had overpowered Michael's security company. He was using it now against him.
" Keep your eyes open doesn't matter if you're sleeping. " He remembered the words of his father, " I knew this, son. Recall the strange things, pressure on your mind, try to remember what you are neglecting. " His father's words reverberated in his mind.
His father strongly landed his hand on his shoulder.
" He wants Rose and Angelina. " He whispered.
" You don't know your enemy very well, Liam. You need to study. He wants your throne, not Rose. Taking her away means him to weaken you. Hebrew had studied you completely. He knew how to break you. Make your weakness, you power. " His father said.
" She's not my weakness, Dad. " He said.
" I ca....... " His father was cut off by Olivia.
" Dinner is ready, boys. " She said.
" Yeah! Coming mom. " Danil replied.
" Let's go. Your mother is going to reprimand us If we get late. " His father said and exited the study along with Danil.
He busied himself with what his father told him. People might think his wife is his weakness. But he believed she was the source of his happiness. Just scratch on her body, he'd eradicate them very easily.
" Liam! Rose will not eat without you. " Danil said, pulling him out of his thoughts.
He got up and removed his coat. He strode at the dining room. He did not see her anywhere.
" Where is Rose? " he asked.
" She was sleeping when I went in her room to give her lunch. " Angelina replied.
" Did no one check on her? She doesn't sleep so long. Ain't it too long? " He asked, looking down at his wrist.
He stood up from the chair to walk toward the room. She was standing on the stairs. Her face was washed with tears. Her eyes were swollen. She was staring at him. She walked down the stairs with bare feet. She stood two feet away from him.
" What's happening? " He perplexed, but didn't show it on his face. He took one long stride at her.
She backed up immediately, " What are you hiding? " She asked, tears could be seen welling down her cheeks. He knew, his family was watching them.
He strode one long step again and wrapped his arms around her so she couldn't back from him, " Rose. "
" What are you hiding? " She broke down in tears and collapsed.
He put both his hands on her waist. She kept her head on his chest and sobbed, " What happened? Tell me. " Liam asked, rubbing her hand on the back of her head.
" You tell me. " She retorted.
He was losing his calmness. He alluded at Paul. Who instantly went to search the matter. He knew what could break her like this but it was quite impossible. He brushed his hand on her back of the head, " Rose, tell me. '' he whispered.
After a while Paul came back with her broken phone. Grabbing it from him, he stared down at the broken glass. He lit it up and clicked on the text, which was already opened. Before he could read it.
" I missed my flow. Doctor said that I'm not eating properly. Was it true? Was I pregnant? " She whispered against his chest.
Phone slipped from his hand. He pulled her back, " Listen, babe. " His heart rate increased. He lifted his hand to reach her face.
She jerked it away, " You always wanna hide things, Liam, Always! " She loudly said and pulled away from his touch.
His heart was palpated, seeing her in tears. He strode closer and locked his arm around her, " I came to know it when you were hospitalized. I did not know at that time. " He swept his fingers on her cheeks. " I wanna tell. But I can't tolerate seeing you like this. "
" No, it's a l-ie. " She scooted upstairs toward the room, pushing his arms away.
" Let me talk to her, Liam. " Olivia said. She paced behind Rose.
He was scared to hurt her, although he had promised her. He sauntered upstairs behind them.
He leaned on the open door. Her face was buried in the pillow. He could listen to her sobs. His hands were tightly clinched under his biceps.
" Rose, it was me. Who knew about it. You remember when doctor Ravan came. Liam has no knowledge about it. I'm sorry. I should tell you. But I've to as it wasn't just your pregnancy. You were being poisoned. I don't want you to panic. I can't see you like this, indeed no one. " Olivia said, brushing her hand in her hair, " Liam came to know this when you were in the hospital. We can't see you in pain. That's why we decided this. Rose? Are you hearing me? " She asked.
" I'm not upset with you. You should tell me. He or she was part of me. " She whispered through her sobs. She didn't raise her head.
He walked and stood near them. He nodded at Olivia. Olivia kissed her forehead, " Be strong. " She whispered and got up from her side. She stared at him and turned the doorknob behind her.
He sat beside her. Slipping his hand under her belly. He whirled to face her. He gathered her hair from her face, " I hate to see water in your eyes. " He said, bending down.
She lifted her dewy eyes to see him, " I'm not crying. It's coming itself. " He knew she was lying.
He darted his gaze on her face, " We can have a baby if you want. " He caressed her cheek.
" I don't know. " She bit her upper centre part of lip with bottom teeth. She fixed her gaze out of the window.
" What are you thinking? " He asked, brushing his fingers on her cheek.
" I don't remember anything about um.... when we first met in the club. I remember your face in dim lights. I also remember I was throwing myself on you. " She paused and bit her lip and then ran her tongue on it, " I woke up at your place. "
He put his two fingers on the face side and pulled her to look at him, " Was it your first time. I mean Alcohol. " He asked.
" Second, I forget things when I consume it. " She said.
" But you remember my face. " He whispered.
" I can never forget your face when I opened my eyes and I saw you. First I lost in your beauty then...... um " She stopped and closed her eyes wrinkling it.
" Then you sneaked out without telling me. " he completed.
" Sorry, I spoiled the dinner. " She changed the topic.
" Dinner, " He said, he wanted to pull the topic but it wasn't the right time. " Come. They'd be waiting. " He scooped her up and walked out.
" I really don't think it's a good idea. " She said.
" They'd be worried about you. They'll be happy to see you. " He said.
" Liam, you should change your habit of hiding things from me. " She whispered, leaning closer.
" I don't know. I can't see you like this. It….. " He trailed.
" It's us. You can't make decisions by yourself. " She said, looking up at him.
" Hmm, I'll try. " He nodded. He knew she was right about us but still he wanted to keep everything away from her which could hurt her.
When they were on the dining table, Although everyone tried to cheer her up, to make her smile. She was smiling but it wasn't reaching to her heart. It was pretentious to show him that she was alright. But she wasn't. He hadn't seen her cry like this before. He traveled past in his memories to get something which could bring a genuine smile on her face. He knew what to do. He took out his phone and planned a surprise for her. She wasn't cunning like other girls. She never tried to dig up the matter. Once he decides anything, she never questions him or goes against him. She accepted it without any interrogation mark. He loved this quality of her.
When she will wake up next morning. There will be an actual smile on her face which can be easily read in her eyes, he promised himself.

She fisted the sheet in her hand. She was in white silk short dress. Her hair was spread all over the white pillow.
"No! Throw it at me. Chase me Candy! she'll wake up. I'm hungry. " Sweet voices broke her sleep. She unfurled her eyes and walked toward the window in her drowsiness. Her eyes widened, when she peeped out of the window.
" Oh God! " She covered her mouth with both hands in shock and astonishment.
" They're waiting for you Rose. " Olivia said from behind. She whirled from the window and her face was covered with astounds. Olivia was holding a baby pink dress in her hand. She put it in her hands. " You don't wanna get late right. " Olivia smiled.
She nodded her head and hastened toward the washroom. She hurriedly showered and donned her dress. She untangled her hair and put on light make-up. She rushed down stairs toward the lawn. Children were waiting for her on the threshold, holding heart shaped balloons in their hands.
" You should wake up early, Rose." A cute girl said in her innocent voice. She was in a pink dress like her.
" I'm sorry. Nobody told me about it. " She smiled.
" Let's go. I'm hungry." Little girl held her hand and walked toward the giant table around several chairs which were set up in the garden.
" I do not know your name. " She said.
" I'm Selina. We have the same dress. " Selina giggled.
" Yeah! You're looking like a cute princess. " She smiled.
" Thank you. You are also beautiful." Selina said with cuteness.
" Also! " She raised her brows and smiled. She darted her eyes around and found all girls in the same pink dress and little boys in dark grey suits. She spotted Liam squatted down in a dark grey suit. His one knee was on grass ground and he was swirling a little girl holding her hand, he was dancing with her and kids around him were clapping.
" She's here. Let's eat. " Selina exclaimed happily.
Liam looked up at her. He stood up, not bothering to brush away dust from his knee, " You are late, Rose. Kids are waiting for you. " He smiled.
She was gleefully staring at him. ' If it would be someone else, he'd have left me alone behind the door to cry over my loss. But it's Liam, the most loving and adorable person of my life.' she thought.
She wrapped her arms around his neck, " Thank you. Thank you so much. I never thought you'd love me like infinity. " She smiled with tears.
" You like it. " He asked, placing his hand on her back.
" I love it. I'm speechless. Thank you so much. "
" You can hug later. Let's eat, Rose. " Selina's sweet voice gained her attention. She pulled back from him and looked down at her.
" Sure, Selina. " she smiled and walked toward the table.
She pulled the chair for Selina, " Please, everyone. " She said.
All gathered around the table. They took their seats and started eating.
She turned to face Liam. She pecked on his cheek, " How did you do this? " she asked him with her permanent smile.
" Anything for this smile. " He said, sliding his thumb on her chin.
Someone cleared his throat behind them, " Can we join you? " Nicolas said with a huge smile.
" Sure, dad. " Liam smiled, " You have to make room for yourself. " He gazed at the table smilingly.
" That's not a problem brother. " Danil smirked and walked to a nearby chair. He slid his hand around a cute boy in the middle to pick him up. He sat on his chair and made him sit in his lap, " Are you okay with this? " He asked the little boy.
" You have long hands. Can you pick chocolate cake for me? " Little Boy said cheerfully.
" Sure, " Danil picked the whole cake and dug his spoon in it too.
Kairo did the same. Selina gave him a stuffy look but she looked happy when he served food on her plate.
" So..... " She looked at Liam, " If you want. You can pick any kid for adoption. " He said, making her astound.
" Yo you are not kidding, right? " She asked with bigger eyes.
" No, " He smiled.
She happily glanced at kids, " Um, I like Selina. She's so adorable. " She smiled.
" Yes, like you. " He hugged her from behind. She stared in his green eyes.
" Adoption process will take a long time. " She said.
" No, when I'm the owner of it. " Liam smiled at her.
" I told you. You can hug later. You will not get anything. They will eat everything. '' Selina said, putting her both hands on her waist. " Come. " She held both hands. Although Liam's hand was so big for her. She held his first finger. They let her pull them.
" Dad, it's Cody. " Kairo screamed from his chair. From their smiles, she could tell both are enjoying their time.
She stared at him, although her life wasn't lacking anything, but still she felt empty when he wasn't part of her life and this man made her feel complete now.
When the breakfast party was over. All the kids boarded in the bus. She waved at them. She was staring at their beaming faces which were lifting her lips in a real smile.
You can have happiness for you, giving happiness to others. She thought.
Days were going pretty well. Liam always planned surprises for her. She mostly visited orphanages to meet Selina and others kids. She told Liam that they'd adopt Selina when she wanted them as her parents. Her life was perfect as she wanted. There was love between them. Which she craved for whenever she saw a perfect couple
