Thank you Mr Enzo

Enzo headed back to his home after visiting his mom since he got a message from his wife to be home for dinner.

Enzo quietly entered the living room to surprise Alice. Instead, he was welcomed with a big surprise, Alice arranged for a candle light dinner at home and he felt kind of awkward.

"Wow. What's this? I think I should be the one to do this kind of stuff. This feels weird," Enzo said timidly.

Alice smiled sweetly at him and walked towards him.

She held his arms and gave him a peck on his cheeks "Welcome home hubby."

She then led him towards the dining table, "Come here and let's eat first. I'm sure you're hungry already," Alice said as she gestured Enzo to sit on the chair however, Enzo suddenly pulled her towards himself and hugged her tight.

"Uhmm wait, let me relax a little first." He inhaled deeply to take in her scent and tightened his grip around her. Alice wiggled in his arms as she was getting crushed.

Enzo smiled and loosened his embrace and kept his chin on her shoulders and rubbed his nose on her ears and said, "Please for a while,just for a while let's stay like this.

"Let me be sure I am not fantasizing. This feels so good yet surreal, seeing you waiting for me to arrive home, welcoming me with a kiss. I just feel like flying high in the sky right now." Enzo whispered and felt Alice's arm caressing his back.

"Hmm… Are you tired? Do you want a massage after dinner? Camilla thought me that today" Alice said mischievously because she actually doesn't know how to do the massage at all; she just said it to simply please her husband.

Enzo chuckled and said with a smile, "Wow, I as wondering how you became so romantic, so Camilla was the love tutor? Well, I don't think it's a good idea because you know what your touch does to me? I may not be able to control the urge to have sex with you."

Alice flushed as she caught the meaning behind his words.

"Okay let's go and eat now," Enzo said before releasing Alice from his embrace and giving her a quick kiss on the lips.

Alice had prepared a prosciutto-wrapped chicken for two and tomato paprika soup with hearty grilled cheese sandwiches. They had crème brule for dessert. All in all a very sumptuous meal was there on the dining table.

"Wow! That's a great spread, my wife is an amazing cook." Enzo praised Alice as he winked. Alice laughed and blushed. She was feeling contented deep inside.

"Alice, now that we are married I think, I should formally introduce you to my parents now? My mum came back from Paris today, I went there and she was dying to see you, why don't we go and spend next week with her?" Enzo said looking intently at Alice while the latter poured wine in Enzo's glass.

"Umm, I just hope she won't reject me or doesn't like me. I don't stay long with mum before he death, I don't know how it feels to be with a mother-in-law"

"Actually even I am afraid how she will react. I hope all goes well. My mum is a nice soul, She'll love you no need to worry. I will take care of everything. We will face them her and I will try my best to make her accept our relationship. So Mrs. Clinton the plan is that we will travel tomorrow night and I'll come along with you. Because I think it's best to meet her together"

Alice smiled, "I'm actually quite nervous so you have to brief me later about likes, dislikes, hobbies and favorite things of each of your family members. So at least I'll have a good first impression." Alice said while she sipped his wine.

"No need to prepare anything wife, no family members too, just me, Mum, dad and that rascal Ryu Ken that called himself a doctor instead of a pervert!"

Alice smiled and nodded. She agreed with Enzo that they both need to talk to his parents to tell them about their marriage.

"I thought you'll never keep that. The ring.." Enzo suddenly blurted-out as he noticed that Alice wore the diamond ring he gave her as an engagement ring.

"It is looking good in your hands."

"But you need to take it off now as our wedding ring will take its place now." Enzo said as he stood up and walked at Alice's side and took out a box from his pocket and opened it.

"I had bought our wedding rings six months ago only and since then I have kept them with me, waiting for your return." Enzo held her hand picked the ring from the box and smoothly slid the wedding ring on her ring finger.

Alice was astounded by the whole scene that unfolded in front of her and tears welled up in her eyes…

'Just how deep is your love for me? Will I ever be able to fathom the depth of your love for me?'

"Will you not help me with my wedding ring sweetheart?" Enzo said teasingly when he saw Alice in a daze.

Alice came out of her trance and picked the ring meant for Enzo and it was then that she noticed that both rings were custom made couple ring with a wave ike pattern made with beautiful diamonds and also that their names were engraved on the inner sides of the rings.

Everything as exceptional as it could be….

"There my husband," Alice whispered as she smiled lovingly and looked at Enzo with her damp eyes.

She leaned forward and kissed him and then she whispered,

"Thank you for loving me"

"Thank you for waiting for me"

"Thank you for marrying mex

"I love you My Enzo!" She blurted. Enzo smiled sweetly.

"Camilla taught you really well!"
