LIKE or LOVE

"You look funny when you are jealous. Why don't you just pick me instead for real? I can do better than Enzo Clinton you know." Shawn said in a jest.

Alice gave a deadly stare to Shawn when he said this.

Shawn smiled sheepishly and said, "So what are your plans now? Well, I'm in for whatever task you want me to do." Shawn added smiling at her with amusement.

Alice sighed and noticed that Enzo was staring at her; she looked in the eyes of Shawn and gave him her sweetest smile to make Enzo jealous.

"Let's eat first and order everything that's delicious." Alice replied smiling beautifully.

"You're enjoying this huh? That smile of yours will kill me though, I bet the friend that thought you all this is a genius" Shawn commented as he shook his head. He knew Alice was doing everything to make Enzo uncomfortable, wasn't her whole idea.

"Damn Shawn stop talking rubbish and just go with the act," Alice scolded her friend and called the waiter to order.

Meanwhile at Enzo's table, Hazel arched an eyebrow and said, "So your problem is you want to hear her say she loves you?"

"That's so easy, let me lead the show and after this; you will surely hear the word LOVE from her soon enough. But in return, you have to make sure that this will be the last date your parents should agree to be set up with mine? Deal?" Hazel added then blinked an eye.

Enzo sighed and answered, "Deal."

Hazel smiled wickedly as she began making her moves on Enzo.

She started serving food in his plate and talking very sweetly to him. She even changed her seat and sat beside Enzo but Enzo avoiding skin contact with her making her most flirtatious move on Enzo.

She inched closer to him and stared straight into his eyes she moved her face closer to him, pretending to about to kiss him, she whispered something in his ears and smiled in a very seducing way.

Enzo was also enjoying all these flirty actions of Hazel as he could see Alice getting agitated and pouting in frustration while trying to avoid skin contact.

Enzo wanted Alice to be so much jealous that she would run to his seat and confess her love to him.

Hazel started feeding Enzo like a sweet and caring girlfriend and Enzo also opened his mouth to eat and cunningly looked at Alice with a mischievous smile on his face.

'You see girl, you better come fast and confess your love to me now, I am actually uncomfortable here sweetheart!'

Alice saw all the flirting advances of Enzo with the girl and fire started to build up in her body, she was afraid, what if Hazel's hand touched his body? She had to rush to him and

'Okay! You want to tease me... right… here we go then!'

Alice now started same kind of flirtatious advances with Shawn. She started touching Shawn with every opportunity and even started feeding him like a lover. She bent towards Shawn sitting in front of her and talked in slow whispering voice and giggled like a teenager girl.

These actions of hers were too much for Enzo to avoid and his face became gloomy. Seeing such solemn and gloomy face of Enzo, Alice felt better and sneered at him and got up to go to the restroom to breathe...

When Alice finished and was washing her hands, a woman entered and smiled at her in the restroom. It was Enzo's date.

Then Alice saw her taking out her phone and dialing a number on the phone while Alice was retouching her lipstick.

"Oh Sara I think I'm in love already with my date. Yes he is Enzo Clinton the President of Clinton's International Firm, the blind date that dad arranged for me. Yes I met him just now but I really like him, he is such a gentleman and handsome as well. Yes I know. Don't worry my intuition will not be wrong, ohhh.. his wife? She can't do anything to me right now. Okay bye for now let's talk later." She heard Enzo's date spoke.

Alice's eyebrow arched. "Isn't it a little bit too early to fall for someone you just met today. If you know I'm his wife you won't date to talk" Alice murmured while fixing her lipstick.

"Excuse me are you talking to me?" The woman asked nicely with a smile.

"Oh I'm sorry; it's just that I overheard your conversation on the phone." Alice replied nonchalantly.

Hazel smiled kindly and said, "That's okay dear. Yeah maybe you are right it's too early to decide, but its better telling early how I feel than to lose him. He is a good catch you know so before someone else interrupts or joins the picture I might as well grab this opportunity to confess to him that I think I LIKE HIM…..no no no…I must tell him that I'm falling in LOVE with him already. Or else he will be snatched."

Alice suddenly asked, "I heard that he's married dont you worry about his wife?"

Hazel smirked, "His wife can confess her love I think i should do that for her"

"What's the difference if you say you LIKE him or LOVE him. Why are you fussing over just a word?"

'Here you are sweetheart… your stupid man feels there is difference!' Hazel thought

Hazel smiled sweetly and said, "Men have a different brain function and they think LIKE is not LOVE. If you say you LIKE him he will be happy but will feel touched and completely moved when the girl he loves uses the words I.LOVE.YOU for him."

"Okay now let me take your leave and go on my mission. Nowadays, the early bird beats an industrious person don't you think?"

Alice, hearing those words from Hazel suddenly froze. She just realized how stupid she was. She kept saying like, maybe she needed to tell him she loved him already. She quickly texted Camilla,

"Babe, what is the difference between LIKE and LOVE?"

Camilla read the message but ignored.

She immediately excused herself and left Hazel in the restroom.

"Not bad, she picked up fast. I'm impressed. Hmm, so let's wait a little bit longer inside," Hazel murmured to herself while looking at her own reflection in the mirror and admiring herself and her moves.

Then she looked at her phone and twitched her mouth. "That dummy is still not here even after I informed him of my blind date!" she muttered a complaint.

Alice quickly walked back to her seat and smiled at Shawn. She was about to sit when she felt strong hand gripped her arm.

"Let's go," Enzo spoke firmly with a dark face.

"Is there a problem?" Shawn spoke who suddenly stood up in front of Enzo to confront him.

"Yeah, there is. You choosed he wrong date! Enzo said solemnly as he gently pulled Alice to his side. However, Shawn held Alice's other arm from his side.

"Yes, I took her because someone here that calls themselves her husband didn't know her worth that you order her around and even make her their slaves in the office when she's actually a fashion designer!"

Those words entered Enzo. He was at loss for what to say as he glared at Shawn with disdain.

There's a moment of long fighting of gazes between two men while Hazel from a distance was watching with amusement on her face.

"What's going on with with exchange of gazes?" Hazel suddenly asked.

No one replied. She continued, "How lucky of you Miss, for two handsome men to be fighting Because of you"

Alice smiled simply without replying.

"Wow, I'm jealous, two gorgeous men fighting over her while I'm struggling in here to capture a CEO'S heart. Urgh." Hazel muttered while she crumpled her face.
