“Judy lost her baby!”
As my uncle said this, it feels as if I just heard the most wildest joke of my life. Did they just call me for that?
“She lost her baby? To me or to who?” I cant help but ask.
Then she stood up from the chair and pulled my dress more! “You are the cause Alice! You jinx my baby, since you know that I got pregnant for Gaston you have been wishing me bad luck”
Oh my goodness, this is very funny.
Imagine, what are they even saying? I jinx her baby?
Judy that I haven’t seen for the past three weeks after the incident?
Why will I jinx her baby? As if I will not have mine or what?
I broke up with Gaston and got rewarded with Enzo Clinton so why on earth will I have her time?
“Wait, did you call me for that?”
“Why else? Is it not worth calling for?” her mother suddenly retorted.
With a resigned sigh, “Okay, Sorry for the loss of your baby but what has my brother got to do with this?”
“As if you will come here if we had said that Judy lost her baby?”
Now I have it all; I think I am at my limit now, what sort of nonsense is this?
My uncle walked forward; “The main reason for calling you here is to discuss together, how are we going to do it in a way that Gaston will not know she had lost the baby?”
I rolled my eyes and sat on the couch with exaughstion, “What on earth did you want me to say? She lost the baby, she should be able to explain it to him, what did I have to do with this?”
“Good question! Since she lost this baby because of you, you must arrange her to get another pregnancy!”
This is very crazy what is this woman spewing?
I laughed hysterically, “what are you saying? Arrange her to get another pregnancy? She can as well go and seduce Gaston again like she did the first time”
My uncle rushed down from the stairs which he had been sitting at all these while with a great force as if he could beat me at any time, “Are you daft? If that boy and his family knows she lost her baby then we are done for! The verilands will withdraw their shares in our company and may even sue us because they had thought they have a child here, if she could get another pregnancy now, they wont mind it since the formal one is just 2 months old and not visible yet”
Here my patience and tolerance comes to an end.
“Okay, How will she get another one?”
“Arrange her to sleep with that handsome man!”
I laughed out loud hysterically.

They Lewiston family are really something, they could even ask her to let Judy sleep with Enzo?
After laughing for some minutes, she stopped, “I decline!”
“Who are you to say that?” Mrs Linda’s voice suddenly asked.
Alice switched to cold gaze and shot the woman with her expression, “Your daughter can as well go and sleep with any other man except for my husband! if she cant do that, then let your company go bankruptcy for all I care!”
Mr Carter raised his hand and slapped her, “You brazen little thing! How dare you cuss at your own family?”
“I stopped regarding you as a family member since the day you cast Kyle out in the rain despite knowing his heart condition!”
Mrs Linda Smirked, she moved closer and swore, “so you want us to waste our money on that dying thing you call a brother? Isn’t your new husband rich? Then you should ask him for help!”
“Yes, let me have him for myself and let your daughter deal with her problem!”
“Wait for the consequences!”
Suddenly, a voice rang across the room, “Which consequences Mr Carter?”
They all looked back and there was the devil, they were talking about. ENZO CLINTON and behind him was Camilla.
Alice was still holding her cheeks and immediately she saw her husband and her friends, she felt happy.

Out of the Lewiston family house.
There was a black Rolls Royce parked outside.
Roger has been waiting outside the car, seeing Enzo and Alice coming out, and immediately stepped forward to greet: "President, Mrs Clinton."
As soon as he looked up, he saw the fingerprints on Alice's cheeks that hadn't faded yet. Roger was stunned for a moment, and said in surprise "Madam, your face..."
"It's okay."
Alice pulled the corner of her lower lip, touching the wound on her face, and the pain sneered.
Enzo immediately frowned and took a look at her face: "Does it hurt? I am sorry this happened because I didn’t pick your call”
There was a hint of distress in his eyes.
“Its Okay, you cant always be there to help me”
He made her face him with his face still angered, “No baby, nothing should be more important than you, but those clients came from China, Ross and Serena were disturbing me with calls, that’s why I put my phone in flight mode till I finished the meeting, I never thought…”
The distress and concern in the man's eyes made Alice's nose sore, and her eyes sore. He was still concerned about her even when he was busy with meeting.
She had been aggrieved so much, and she did not cry.
But at this moment, she couldn't help it.
The uncontrollable wetness in her eyes gathered at the corners of her eyes, and she would slip out of her eyes.
She reached out and pushed him away, turning her back, not wanting him to see her crying nose.

When she heard that she was crying, Enzo frowned more tightly.
The man hugged her from the back "Are you crying darling?"

Enzo was distressed and angered again. He made her cry again, if he had picked her call, he could have at least send some body guards with her.
