I see my girl being taken away, and a flood of emotions overtakes me: anger and sadness.
''How did they know Aurelia was innocent? ''Hina asked with a despondent expression.
That's what I'm going to find out now.
I marched quickly towards the cell exit, the guards not daring to stop me when they saw my furious expression. I reached the warden's office and opened the door with such force that I surprised him.
'' What have you done? ''I approached him angrily, looking him in the eye.
''I-I didn't do anything! ''He stammered, clearly terrified.
''Then how did they know that Aurelia was innocent!!!? ''I banged the table hard, demanding answers.
''I-I...
'' Answer, damn it!!! You want me to kill your daughter!!! ''He denied it several times.
'' It seems that delegate Diana Trucka received a call from someone informing her that Aurelia is innocent. She investigated, found a camera at the place where Aurelia was arrested, and saw that the officers had put marijuana in her backpack. The policemen were arrested and told the girl's family that she was innocent. They didn't wait long, and they decided to get her out of here as quickly as possible. '' He said, visibly nervous.
I bit my lips hard, almost cutting them.
'' Who called? Come on! Who called!!! ''He was shaking all over.
'' We don't know... But the call came from here.
'' Then find out which cell phone the call came from, damn it!!! Don't you monitor us all the time? Then find out!
'' That's impossible. '' I looked coldly at him, who hastened to say, ''I ordered you to stop monitoring you a long time ago.
I wiped my hands across my face in frustration.
'' I want to get out of here. The only reason I was here was because of her; now I want to get out!
'' This can be arranged; I'll call the judge. '' He spoke in a trembling voice, visibly frightened.
''Do it; I want him to come as soon as possible, now! '' I ordered, my serious expression making it clear that I would accept no excuses.
The director picked up the phone and typed in the judge's number with trembling hands, while I watched impatiently.
'' I'm going to have a chat with some prisoners; I'll be right back.
Furious, I left the office in search of answers. I entered the prison cafeteria and gave a hard stare to the inmates, who seemed intimidated by my presence.
'' Has anyone had access to a cell phone!!!? '' I asked, my voice echoing through the mess hall in an authoritative tone.
The inmates quickly nodded, fearing my wrath.
A sinister smile formed on my lips as an idea occurred to me.
''I already know it was the person who called Deputy Diana Truck,'' I announced, watching the inmates' reactions carefully. ''Have you forgotten that the police are monitoring us? I already know who the person is; I just want them to come clean and tell the truth. If they don't, I'll make sure they pay in the worst possible way.
I looked around, gauging the prisoners' reactions. Nebula was standing there, clearly tense, avoiding my gaze and remaining silent. But I could see her. You bastard!
'' Nebula! '' I called out, making her jump in surprise.
''Y-Yes? ''She stammered, her trembling voice revealing her nervousness.
I approached her slowly, my serious expression indicating my growing irritation.
''Do you have anything to tell me? ''I asked, my hands gripping the table with intensity.
'' N-N-No... I don't have anything. '' She replied, a small smile forming on her lips. This only increased my anger.
'' You know I hate people who lie to me, and you don't know how to lie properly.
I held her hair firmly and pressed her forehead against the table.
''Why did you call the deputy!!!!? ''I shouted, pushing his head harder.
'' She.... She stole my seat. '' She started crying as she admitted it.
I rolled my eyes, irritated by her confession.
''You have no fucking place; I've never been yours, and I'll never be yours; my body belongs to Aurelia.
'' You loved me! '' She tried to argue, but I could only smile at that.
'' Loved you? I never liked you, girl. The only thing I liked was fucking you; apart from that, your presence was suffocating for me. You're just a poor thing who has nowhere to drop dead. I could kill you right now.
"Why don't you?" he challenged, which only made me smile sideways.
''Because I could make you suffer for years. ''I replied coldly, picking up a knife from the nearby tray. '' I'm not going to kill you, Nebula.
With one swift movement, I ran the blade of the knife across her cheek, leaving a deep cut.
'' Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!! ''Nebula tried to struggle as I held her firmly by the hair, ignoring her screams.
''Your little friends did this to my girl. '' I turned her face to cut her other cheek. ''No one will ever look at you again.
The knife cut her other cheek, making her scream even louder. As soon as I had finished, I let her go.
''Your punishment will be suffering, Nebula. ''I faced her with a cruel smile. ''From now on, you're the property of all of them. Do what you want with her.
