08:00 ''Shed. ''Valley City. ''Zefinópolis

Axel Knight.

The atmosphere inside the shed is tense after that moment with Elara. I see everyone organized, the weapons boxes ready, and the computers on. I decided to stay focused.

'' All right, take everything to the car. Yenki, is everything ready for the plane? '' I ask, and he nods, assuming his role as a soldier, leaving aside what happened with Elara.

'' Yes, sir! '' He replies with determination.

'' Good. Then let's go!

'' Yes, boss! '' The reply came in unison.

We leave the shed, leaving a few to keep an eye on the city, while the majority follow me. We get into the van, and Drusk starts it up.

'' Boss, what are we going to do when we get there? '' Levi asks, eager for more details.

''Well, the good thing is that Mr. Luck has a house in Mexico. We can stay there while we prepare to attack them. '' I explain quickly, seeing everyone nod in understanding.

I realize that the atmosphere between me and Yenki is a bit tense. When we arrive at the airport, I see the henchmen loading the weapons onto the plane and the technological equipment being carried by the others.

''Hello, boss.'' Liam approaches.

''Hello, Liam. Thanks for coming. '' I thank him, trying to keep a calm countenance.

''I'm old, but I'm not out of the fight. I can still shoot. '' He smiles sideways.

''With your terrible eyesight?'' I joke, and he laughs.

''Hey, I can still see very well.

''Axel, everything's ready on the plane.'' Yenki replies, but his tone is still a little cold.

I sigh at that. He's clearly annoyed with me for the way I treated Elara. I know I was a jerk to her, but I don't want to deal with it now.

'' All right, then, let's go. '' I nod, watching him walk away.

'' Is it just me, or does Yenki seem a bit angry with you? '' Liam asks.

'' It's not just you, he really is angry with me. '' I frown.

'' And why is that? What did you do?" He insists.

'' This isn't the time. Let's go.

We head for the plane, and I see everyone taking their seats.

"Yenki, the boss had a friend in Mexico, right?" I ask, and he nods. ''Call him and ask him to bring some cars to the airport. I don't want anyone to see the weapons.

'' Right, excuse me. '' He gets up with his cell phone in his hand and walks away.

I let out a sigh and sat down, fastening my seat belt around my waist. Soon, the boss's private plane will take off for Mexico.

Eleven hours of flying later.

The journey seemed like an eternity, and the pain in our bodies was evident when we finally landed.

'' Damn, eleven hours of flying. I never want to go through that again,'' Liam complains.

''We still have to get back to Zefinópolis,'' I say, and he lets out a groan.

'' Shit!

Before we can fully recover, we are approached by a tall man.

''Axel Knight?'' he asks.

'' Are you Mr. Dante's friend? '' I ask, and he confirms.

'' That's right. I've brought some friends who can help us with the equipment. '' He says, and I nod.

''Good, because we're going to need it. '' I say, and he smiles sideways.

''You seem very competent. '' He says, and my gaze turns suspicious.

'' Of course I am. If I wasn't, I wouldn't be here in charge of the mafia. '' I reply abruptly, turning to Liam. ''Call the others, we need to move quickly. Time is short.

'' Yes, boss. '' Liam moves away to gather the group, while I turn my attention to the man.

"What's your name?" I ask.

''I can be whoever you want. '' He jokes, making me frown. ''But my name is Lorenzo. '' He finally replies.

''So, Lorenzo. Where are the cars? We need to go. '' He pointed to the two cars and three vans he'd brought. '' Good.

As the others approach, we organize the weapons in the vehicles. I get into one of the cars, with Lorenzo by my side. Yenki takes the front seat, while the others follow in the vans.

''So, Axel.'' Lorenzo starts the conversation. ''Are you dating?

I frown in his direction.

'' And why on earth would you want to know that?

'' Calm down, I'm just asking a question.

''And I don't like that kind of question. Let me make it very clear, Lorenzo. I'm here for the girls, not to make out, and I'm not interested in men either. Do your job, and I'll do mine." I make it clear, ignoring him for the rest of the way.

We arrive at Mr. Dante's mansion.

I observe the place, wondering why everything needs to be so flashy. I've never understood rich people and their need for ostentation.

"Here's the key." Lorenzo hands it to me.

I take the key and walk towards the mansion, unlocking the door.

'' Let's go! We have to hurry! '' I ordered, and we all hurried inside.

Inside the mansion, everyone starts unloading their equipment onto the floor.

'' Yenki. '' I call, and he nods. ''You know what to do.

'' I'm already ready. '' He replies, picking up his laptop and starting to work.

''As soon as Yenki gets new images, we'll strike. They want to sell the girls on the black market, and if that happens, we won't be able to save them. '' I explain, and everyone nods in understanding.

I let out a sigh, remembering an important detail.

'' Yenki? '' I call out again, and he looks at me. ''Did we get anything from the cell phone of that guy we questioned? '' He smiles with satisfaction.

''I thought you'd never ask. '' He takes his cell phone out of his pocket. '' I tried to unlock it, but I didn't succeed.

I take the phone and sit down on the sofa.

'' This is going to be easy.

I started using my skills to unlock the device in less than three minutes.

'' That's it. Now we can hack into their cell phones. '' I connect the cell phone to my laptop and start accessing each person's device, taking advantage of something simple: their contact numbers.

We get some audio, but the most important thing is that we manage to access the microphone of one of them and start listening to them.

''It was easier than we expected. Now we just have to wait until the evening to take the girls.

'' Yes, the Zefinopolis mafia is pretty weak.

I growl with irritation when I hear this.

They start laughing.

'' And they haven't even noticed that we entered the city a week ago.

I glare at Yenki, but he just shrugs.

'' Let's go see the girls.
