10:30 '' Axel's Room. '' Valley City. '' Zefinopolis
Axel Knight.
I open my eyes when I realize that I no longer feel the warmth of Elara's body.
'' Elara? '' I call out, but there's no reply.
I grumble as I remember that she has college today. I sit up in bed and stretch my body, listening to my bones crack.
'' Fuck. '' I look at my desk and see a piece of paper under my cell phone.
I picked it up and read it.
Axel, good morning. I didn't want to wake you up to tell you I was leaving, so I left this note. I hope you have a great day. Kisses.
Elara.
How sweet of her to leave that.
I smile as I remember that in the early hours of the morning, she moved and hugged me. But then happiness overtook me when she kissed the back of my neck dreamily.
"Shit, I got turned on by an innocent kiss on the back of the neck." I cover my face in shame.
I let out a sigh and got out of bed to go to the bathroom.

I go downstairs after I've finished getting ready and come across another note pinned to the fridge.
Axel, yesterday's dinner is left over, and I've put it in the fridge for you to eat today. Eat it all, see? You have to take care of your health.
Elara.
'' This girl is going to give me a heart attack. '' I say as I open the fridge and see a pot of food.
I take it to the microwave and let it heat up. I feel my cell phone vibrate in my pocket, and I pick it up to see that it's Yenki.
'' Go ahead. '' I'll get straight to the point.
''We have a problem.
I let out a sigh.
''Is there ever going to be a day when I wake up and don't have a problem?
'' Anyway, there was a fight in the main nightclub, and the guy who started it shot Stefane.
'' What?!'' I growled angrily.
'' At first, it seemed he was her ex, but he didn't accept the breakup and went to the nightclub to kill her.
I sigh.
'' Is she alive?
'' Yes, he was shot in the shoulder, and the security guards took him to the shed.
'' Leave him there, which hospital is she in?
''Where else, seriously? The bosses' hospital.
'' I'll talk to her, then I'll go to the shed.
'' Right.
''We're still going to talk.
I hear him sigh on the other side.
''I know.
I hang up the call.
'' It's like every time I wake up, there's already a problem with this piece of shit.
I take the pot out of the microwave and start eating quickly.
''In fact, this is delicious. I think she should be on a cooking course. '' I say to myself.
I look at the dirty dishes from yesterday.
''When I get home, I'll wash up.
I leave the plate on the table and leave the house, getting into the car and driving off towards the hospital.
I think I'm soon going to pass out from exhaustion. Furthermore, I can't stand it any longer. All that's left is for me, my God.

I park the car and get out, walking through the hospital until I reach reception.
"Stefane Black, are you still here?" I asked the receptionist.
She checks the computer before answering:
"Yes, in room 34." She nods.
I head towards her room, turning right and continuing to walk. I see the number on the door and knock.
"Yes?" Her voice is so weak.
I go in, and she opens her eyes wide when she sees me.
'' Axel?
'' Hello, Stefane. I think you know why I'm here, don't you?" She nods.
I approach her and look at her bandaged shoulder.
''You work in Mr. Sinclair's nightclub. And you know what happens to the staff because of a customer. They get killed. '' She swallows. ''You were the victim of your ex-boyfriend, but many could also be his victims.
'' I know. '' She lowers her head. ''He harassed me for two weeks, I couldn't take it anymore. I wanted to go to the police, but I remembered who my boss is." I nod understandingly.
'' Well done, I'm glad you thought so. Because if the police went into that nightclub, they'd be eliminated. We don't want anyone from the law anywhere near Mr. Sinclair's things. You did the right thing, Stefane.
She swallows again.
"Anyway, back to your ex. He's in prison at the moment. I came to see how you were and to tell you that you'll never see him again." She doesn't say anything.
I let out a sigh.
"He raped me once." She says it out of the blue.
I keep quiet, just listening to her.
''I-I thought he loved me and that the life I had would never happen again.
'' He'll suffer, don't worry. You're going on vacation, and you'll only come back when you're one hundred percent okay.
''I'm fine!
I deny it with my head.
''You were almost killed; you've been harassed for weeks; you're not well at all. Take these days to calm down, take a vacation if you want.
She nods.
'' Thank you, Axel. '' I smile slightly.
''You're welcome. It's my job to make sure the boss's employees are treated well. '' I mean, just the women. '' I have to go now, my day is going to be very busy today.
'' All right, thanks for visiting too.
'' I'll send your money later. '' She nods. '' Bye.
I leave her room and pick up my cell phone, calling Yenki.
'' Yes?
'' Have the women arrived?
I ask as I walk towards the hospital exit.
'' They've arrived, Druk picked them up at the airport, along with Reger.
'' How many women are there in total?
I open the car door and get in.
'' There are twenty, that's why they both went with the vans.
'' Right, I'm on my way there now.
''Fine.
