Chapter One Hundred and Fifty-Four
Lee shifted in his seat again and looked from Sylvie to Kelley and back to Sylvie. “You look … well, different,” Lee said and Sylvie laughed.
“I should hope so. I worked hard on my transformation,” she said.
“Hot. Just say it, Lee. She looks hot,” Mason said and Kelley shot him a glare.
“How’s Andrea doing, Mason?” Mason glared right back at Kelley.
“Oh, how’s your daughter? You have a daughter, right?” A small frown formed on her forehead as if she was thinking back and trying to remember details from their past.
Kelley’s hand found Sylvie’s and she intertwined her fingers with his without breaking eye contact with Mason. He knew he'd get shit from them later but the look on their faces were priceless and completely worth it.
“She’s great. I can’t believe you remember that,” Mason answered her question.
“I remember she was a cute baby. You two,” she pointed her finger at Kelley and Lee, “used to sit in the stands with her when Mason played football.”
“You watched the games?” Lee asked her with a frown of his own.
“I was the lead photographer for the St. John’s Weekly Column,” she said.
Kelley remembered another incident where two girls were loudly telling a group of other students that Sylvie was stalking Mason with her camera. He hadn’t understood the story then but he did now. He shook his head slightly as the memory faded away.
“Are you still a photographer?” Lee asked her.
“In my free time, yes. It’s more of a hobby now than anything else,” she replied.
“Sylvie tests new tech and helps to fix their bugs,” Kelley said.
“What kind of tech?” Connor asked her.
“Anything really, I freelance mostly, so up and coming tech companies use me as a beta tester.”
“So you get all the latest stuff out there?” Mason asked.
“Phones, cameras, laptops, you name it and I have it,” Sylvie said with a laugh at the look on Mason’s face.
“Shit, I’ve got to make you my new best friend,” he said and leaned forward.
“Piss off, Mason,” Kelley said.
“You mean because I get to keep everything I test?” Sylvie asked him with a serious expression on her face.
“You do?”
She nodded her head as he leaned back against his seat. “Blaire will love this woman.”
“I should go. I didn’t mean to take up so much of your time,” Sylvie said and stood up from the couch.
“You’re not.” Kelley said. “They are. Can you make them go away?”
Mason and Lee laughed as Connor stood up from his seat. “Come on guys, let’s leave the lovebirds in peace.”
“No, I really have to get going as well.” Mason, Lee and Connor sat back down on their seats and all three of them stared.
Kelley walked with Sylvie to the door and into the hallway where he pressed her against the wall and kissed her. “I’ll call you later.”
“You can call me but don’t come near me for at least a week,” she said and blushed slightly since Kelley's very obvious erection pressed against her lower stomach.
Kelley laughed and kissed her again. “We’ll watch movies and eat popcorn with our clothes on.”
Sylvie smiled and her eyes were bright with happiness. “Sure, Mr Bigshot.”
He watched Sylvie walk down the hall, turn the corner and a few minutes later he heard the front door close. He closed the office door behind him and three grown men sat on the edges of their seats, smiling broadly at him.
“That’s fatty Patty?” Connor asked as disbelief filled his eyes.
“Sylvie Carlisle,” Kelley said.
“Where the hell did you even meet her again?” Lee asked.
“That coffee shop Arlo likes so much.”
Mason sat up straighter. "You mean the coffee shop where I was supposed to meet Arlo at? That coffee shop? Fuck, I shouldn't have let you go meet Arlo in my place. I practically set her down on your lap and allowed you to take her to dinner and then you took her home and she became dessert? I'm an idiot, it could've been me that scored last night.”
Kelley laughed as he looked at his friend. “Shit, Mason, something like that but now I'm very”
Lee sobered up first and his expression turned serious. “Does she know about Milana?”
“No, I’ll broach it with her. Why are you even asking me that? She left, we’re separated, our divorce is just a technicality.” Kelley didn't need to explain anything to them. It was his life and he was following their advice but Kelley did feel a twinge of guilt.
“Alright then, as long as you know what you’re doing,” Lee said.
"All I'm doing is following your advice, the advice all there of you gave me. Now leave me alone so I can finish my work," Kelley said.
Kelley spent the rest of the afternoon on his laptop, going through contracts Lee sent and proposals from Mason. By seven pm, he shut the study door and headed to his bedroom. He pulled his phone from his pocket and dialed Sylvie’s number.
“Sylvie speaking,” she answered.
“It’s me,” Kelley said.
“Who?”
“Kelley,” he said.
“Oh, sorry, it showed private number,” she explained and then she laughed, telling him she'd known exactly who it was.
“So, movies, popcorn, clothes?”
Sylvie laughed. “Add chocolate to that list and you’ve got a deal.”
"Are clothes mandatory though?" Kelley asked her.
"Probably not and since I'm off tomorrow I could probably get away with not being able to walk," she said.
"Is that a challenge I hear, Miss Carlisle?"
"I don't know, is it?"
"Then I suggest you get a movie on, I'll be there in twenty minutes and I'll show you," Kelley said as he walked out of his bedroom and headed towards the stairs.
Kelley made the drive in fifteen minutes and Sylvie greeted him wearing a robe and nothing else. Kelley kissed her the moment the door closed behind him and picked her up as he headed to her bedroom. This time he let her undress him and when she took him her mouth he had no qualms of pushing his cock in deeper and making her gag.
