Chapter One Hundred and Seventy-Six

The headache was flickering to life again and Kelley glared at them all. He stood up calmly and straightened the cuffs of his jacket before leaning his arms forward on the table, resting his fists on his knuckles. He was beyond pissed off now.
Mason chuckled and shook his head. “And here I thought it was just me that couldn’t keep it in my pants. Meanwhile Kelley's out fucking everyone like it's going out of fashion.”
“You.” Kelley glared at Mason. “You don’t get to say a fucking word.”
Kelley’s gaze turned towards Lee and it seemed to have its desired effect. “I’ve always had your backs. Each and every single one of you. I’ve bled for you and I’ve killed for you. You don’t get to sit around my table and judge me. You’re all quick with the mouth when you have something to say, now it’s my turn.”
Kelley picked up his glass from the table and emptied it. “I’ve got you. I’ve said that to all of you. I made you all rich, me. I’m the idiot that keeps working to expand us. Every single decision is on me, I make it and I take the punishment that comes with it. Lee, I had you when that asshole came back into your life, I had you, nobody else. You want to glare at me because I screwed Marella before you even knew she existed, before you even knew me?”
Kelley walked to the cabinet behind him and broke the seal on the bottle of Scotch and filled his glass. Nobody said a word. Kelley emptied his glass and brought the bottle back to the table.
“Mason, I sat up with you that very first night you got Grace on the porch. I went in there and made a deal to get her back for you. Me. I got you that classified file on your father’s death and what really happened to him.”
Mason opened his mouth but Kelley held his hand up, his eyes blazing with anger even though he’d kept his voice steady. He hadn’t yelled once. “Marley, I was the one to hold your head to the side so you wouldn’t choke on your own vomit when you were fourteen and tried to kill yourself. I did that. I made sure you went to Jesse’s house that night. Not Kirk. Me.”
“Kelley …”
“Shut up, Jesse. I didn’t say a word when you shacked up with her. Not one word. You don’t get to look at me like that. None of you have the balls to stand up against me. I’ll burn this whole city to the ground before you can even blink. I’m tired of always being the one that has all of you. You think some words of advice means you’ve got my back?”
“Kelley.”
“And you, Connor. I brought you in and you have no idea what history lies between me and Jeannie and you don’t have to know. That’s for her to tell you and anything that happened between me and her, that’s private. It happened once, a very long time ago and we both realized that friendship would be better. You’re no saint so don’t you dare glare at me.”
Kelley turned around and walked towards the doorway. “Kelley!”
“Fuck all of you! I don’t fucking care anymore! It’s always me! You’re all fucking each other and I’m not even fucking my own wife and you want to glare at me for things that happened years ago? Fuck you all! I’m done! I’m fucking done trying to please everyone and always being the asshole!”
Kelley walked out of the dining room with the bottle of Scotch in his hands and headed up the stairs. His anger was blinding, it was pulsing in his veins and he knew if one of them came to him now that he’d unleash his fury.
His hands shook with rage and he needed to get out, get away from them all. None of them saw him, not the real him. It was always him. Kelley, the caretaker, Kelley, the brother, Kelley, the boss, Kelley, the fucking asshole.
Kelley slammed the bottle down on the coffee table and ripped his jacket off. He sat down on the couch and lowered his head into his hands. His head was throbbing and he hated the outburst he just had but it needed to be done.
It was all fun and games until someone got fucked. The door to his study opened but Kelley didn’t even bother to look up. “Leave me alone.”
“No.” Milana was closer than he thought she was.
Kelley lifted his head and she pushed him backwards until his back hit the backrest of the couch. His hands lay next to his thighs and he watched her as she straddled him and placed her hands on either side of his face.
“I’m sorry.”
Kelley kept watching her. Why was she sorry? She wasn’t part of the fiasco downstairs and she had no reason to even utter the words that should be coming from the rest of them.
“What for?”
“For almost killing you, for not telling you that I love you too and that you carry this burden all alone.”
His eyes searched hers as he lifted his hands to her waist. “I wasn’t mad at you.”
“I’m your wife and I should’ve had your back.”
Her head lowered to his and she kissed him, hard. Her tongue dominated his for all of five seconds before he deepened the kiss. Kelley’s hands moved to her thighs and lifted her dress as his hands moved upwards to her waist again.
She moved her hips against his erection and her hands went to his belt. Time seemed to stand still as she pulled his zipper down and he lifted his hips as she tugged his pants and briefs lower and gripped his throbbing shaft in her hand.
Kelley’s fingers found her wetness and he moved her panties to the side as she lifted herself up. He pulled her down on top of him and closed his eyes as his cock pushed inside her. Milana’s breaths were coming fast as he lowered the straps of her dress and pulled it down to her waist.
She started moving on top of him and his mouth found her nipple as his other hand massaged her breast. Kelley started thrusting up into her as she clenched her muscles around him, reaching her own orgasm quickly.
Kelley grunted as Milana clung to him, thrusting hard until lights exploded behind his eyes as he emptied himself into her. His breaths were ragged as he slumped back on the couch with Milana still on top of him.
“Is he in there?” Lee’s voice came from outside the study.
“He’s busy,” Steel said and Kelley looked towards the door.
“Step aside, Steel.”
“He’s busy fucking his wife, Lee. I’ll tell him you stopped by.”
Kelley started laughing and soon Milana laughed too. She pushed herself up and looked down at Kelley. “I told him not to let anyone through those doors.”
