Chapter 31 Carl Causes Trouble at the Wedding

At the entrance, more than ten bodyguards dressed in black pushed open the door and walked in.
Carl swaggered in with his hands in his pockets. The guests were so scared by the imposing manner that they dared not speak.
Fiona and Joseph were also slightly confused, standing still where they were.
When Annie saw Carl, her face turned pale instantly. She thought he wouldn't come but didn't expect him to rush into the wedding scene.
Afraid Carl would ruin the wedding, she quickly got up from her seat among the guests and walked towards him.
"Mr. MacDonald."
Annie hurriedly stopped Carl, who was walking towards the stage and said: "The contract has been signed already. I will give it to you tonight."
Carl looked her up and down, seeing her wearing a sexy champagne-coloured bridesmaid dress which ignited a hint of desire in his grey-black eyes.
He put one hand around Annie's waist and pulled her into his arms while touching her: "Since it's already signed, why don't you give it to me earlier?"
"Mr MacDonald, I must ensure that this wedding goes smoothly; otherwise, if you take the contract but break your promise or disrupt my friend's wedding ceremony, what should we do?" Annie tried hard to control herself despite feeling nauseous.
"Don't you trust me?"
"No," replied Annie firmly.
"Then wait until tonight for me to get it?" asked Carl with a smirk.
Annie took out her phone and opened a file containing an early-made fake contract she had prepared beforehand for Mr Ross (the largest partner of The Sterling Family), which even had an official seal stamped on it as proof of its authenticity:
"Mr MacDonald, please look carefully at this contract made by Mr Ross himself with an official stamp on it. It's impossible to fake."
She deliberately showed Carl every page of the contract, making him believe in its authenticity.
"Remember to send the contract to my villa tonight," said Carl.
Thinking that he could inherit MacDonald Inc and get a beautiful woman at the same time made Carl feel very happy, so he let go of Annie.
As soon as his hand moved away from her waist, Annie breathed a sigh of relief. She clenched her sweaty palms tightly and gritted her teeth: "Mr MacDonald, I have already set up an address for you which will be sent to you later."
She would never go to his villa because once she entered that perverted place, there was no way out.
Now that she had control over the fake contract, he must follow her arrangements if Carl wanted it.
Carl frowned slightly when he heard what she said: "What are you trying to do?"
Annie shook her head: "I'm not trying anything; I just don't want you sleeping with me. I need to ensure my safety."
She directly exposed his thoughts and embarrassed him somewhat.
Although his face looked unpleasant for a moment, after thinking about it again - regardless of where she set the address - he could still ensure she would submit under him eventually.
With this thought in mind, Carl no longer dwelled on the issue. Instead, he glanced at the newlyweds walking towards them before threatening Annie with a smile:
"You better deliver it obediently, or else my brothers will cause trouble during your wedding night."
After speaking these words, he lightly tapped Annie's nose with his finger, showing affection and danger in his eyes.
Annie felt disgusted by his touch but still nodded obediently: "Don't worry, Mr MacDonald."
With her assurance given, Carl left with his men.
