Jason POV

I grabbed Sasha by the arm and shoved her away from me.

''Jason,'' she said, reaching her hands to my face. I clenched my hands hard, preventing her crusty hands touching me again.

''Why are you here?'' I gritted through my teeth.

''I came to see you, I knew you were here. Everyone was talking about it through social media, so, I just took money out of my savings account, flew out here to see you.''

''Jesus!'' I threw my hands in the air. ''Can't you take a hint. I'm not interested in you anymore Sahsa, give up already.''

''Jason you don't mean that. You love me, you said you always take care of me no matter what.''

''--- Yeah, that was before you cheated on me, dummy.''

''Jason,'' she cried. ''I'm begging you, for the love of God, please I can't take another day without you.''

''Are you that delusional? Do you really think I want to go back with you? After you crawled your ass back to me and begged me to help you---''

''---Boss?''

''Leave, all of you, I can handle this myself!'' I barked at the security team. They chirped under their breaths and left me alone with Sasha.

Heaving a sigh, I massaged from the sides of my head and counted to three. I had zero patience with this woman. I was going to end this once and for all. It's done, it's over and I really don't care anymore.

''Jason, please listen to me. I just need you, okay? I need you back into my life, you changed me so much and I'm so sorry. I'm sorry for everything---''

''---No, it's not going to happen.''

''Please.''

''No.''

''Please, Jason, Please I'm begging you-''

''Can't you see Sasha? Do you think that I can love someone? Huh? You really think that there's some ounce in my heart that I care about. That I am some prince charming, a knight shining armor? I'm not. I'm Jason Vella, a billionaire that doesn't give a fuck about anybody else. Do you hear me? I don't care about anyone but my damn self."

A sound of a heel clicked harshly on the ground and I turned around to see who it was.

Oh, shit.

Violet.

She trembles her lips, glaring at me with pooled eyes.

A single tear slid down from her warm, chocolate eyes, followed by another one, and another one, a steady stream of salty tears flowed it's way down her cheek, releasing the sadness and sorrow that has been held inside of her for all this time and did not make a sound.

Violet zoomed out of the scene and went her way to the doors.

''Fuck!" I shouted. ''Look what you made me do!" I yelled at her.

I whistled through my teeth and got the security to finally get her out of the venue. I know, I know, I should've done it in the first place and now I fucking regret it.

I ran through the doors and went to see Violet. She was walking down the steps, slowly taking her time since she's wearing heels with a long forest green dress.

''Violet!" I said, finally came to her at the steps. ''Violet.''

''I'm leaving Jason, I'm not feeling so good,'' she lied.

''Violet please, can we talk? Violet!''

She turns around and took a quick look at me. I went closer to her at the end of the steps and took a sigh, coming up with a way to say sorry.

''Violet.''

''You know, it's crazy to think that I really thought you were different.''

''Vi.''

''People said things about you, how you are stoic, heartless person, nevertheless a playboy. But, I don't see that in you. I see someone who's charming, smart, and very funny. But, I was wrong."

"Violet, I'm so-"

"-You ain't shit, you're fucking trash, and I don't want to deal with you anymore. Have a nice night Jason."

------

''--Where's Violet?'' Jessica said. She was standing near the double doors while Caesar was one the phone with someone.

''She.. left,'' I replied in a gloomy tone.

''Why? What happened.''

''I said something that I shouldn't say.''

''To her?''

''No to Sasha.''

''Sasha was here? How?''

''Let's just say social media.''

She sighed. ''How can this happened?''

''Geez, I don't know. Let's start how you invited her to your wedding knowingly that we were not together.''

''I asked you if you were okay with that and you said that was fine!"

''Obviously, I was fucking lying! I told you about the breakup Jes and yet you backstabbed me.''

''Backstabbed you, Jason? You literally left the wedding because you were too paranoid about some meeting when you could've easily called off the meeting.''

''Yeah, which was way more important than the wedding."

SLAP

Jessica started to tear up and sighed roughly. ''Fuck you, Jason.''

''Honey? Jason? What's going on?''Caesar jogged his way to us, confused and tried to comfort Jessica.

''Nothing, I'm leaving. Tell Gary thank you for this event,'' I said to them.

'' You're just going to leave?'' Jessica said.

''Yeah, I'm a billionaire, I do what I want, remember?'' I replied sarcastically.

-----

I went over to my suite and saw that the bed was made. Violet's belongings were gone and my heart dropped in fear, wondering where she could be.

To the lobby, I asked the receptionist of Violet's new hotel room. I wanted to apologize for my actions and win her heart again.

I didn't want her to believe what she saw was the real '' me''. I have learned about myself over the past few weeks.

It astonishes me how the most normal, intelligent people can resort to most stupid things sometimes when dealing with the people they claim to love. I know I find this side of me distasteful and face up to that.

''Room 409. Third floor.''

''Thank you,'' I replied.

DING

Escalating, I went over to the door and halt within a matter of seconds. My heart was pounding so fast, reminiscing the harsh lash-out I did to Sasha, and how Violet caught me saying that out loud.

I heard sniffling, a soft whimper through the door and I knew it was her. I touched the door gently and took a sigh before opening it. Abruptly, I heard Violet's voice and I placed my ear on the door, listening to what she said.

''--Bre, please I need you,'' she sobbed.

''Oh, honey, what's wrong? What happened,'' she said on speaker.

''I don't want to be here anymore, please, I need you.''

''Okay, I'm going to book you a flight back home... Vi, don't cry okay? Please don't cry, it's going to be alright.''

Violet sobbed again.

I walked backward and went to the elevator door. Pressing down, I sighed and looked back to the room she was in.

I broke her heart, badly.

Being hurt so deeply by someone who you've opened up your heart and soul is painful beyond measurement.

Everything was amazing, everything was bliss. There's really no good way to start this. A lot has happened tonight, and the worst part is, while I'm shocked, I can't say that I'm surprised.

I could've easily walked in, surprised her, talked to her like a grown man. But I'm a coward, I let my ego get the best of me and didn't even have the balls to face my confrontation.

Instead, I walked away.
