"Okey, I'll be coming to meet you sir" I said, before I glared at him, he released a sigh, before he lets go of my hand, his expression was calm and pleasant at first, I was glad that everything was going on smoothly, only to hear the sound of incoming footsteps from my father, I turned to see who it was, only to noticed the stern face of my father, he was looking at me so Intently in the eye, there was that sad smile, etched on his face, I tried as to keep calm, trying not to burst out in tears.
He then came closer to me, Only to noticed that Aiden was there..
"What are you still doing here with my daughter".
"Because I love her sir, and I'm not going to give up on her" he said confidently, which made me extremely shock, Because since I knew him, he has never been this confident when talking to my father, I then wondered what had triggered the boldness in him.
I took a deep breath, before I then went towards the door, I found myself trying to catch my breath, I was not Happy the way things had turned into, but I was glad that things was making a better turn, Because I'm beginning to see the true intentions of Aiden.
"I have to go and meet the doctor" I said to my father, he nodded, before he let go of me..
When I went to his office, I noticed the way he sat down on his chair with a worried face, he didn't even notice my presence, before I eventually knocked, I noticed the way he jolts in fear, while looking at me with a scared expression.
" Good morning sir, I'll still like to know about my husband" I said, evidently showing how anxious I was, he let out a sigh, before he sat closer to me and was looking at me so intently in the eyes.
"Your husband is in a very critical State, Because the snake had bitten his wrist and the venom had managed to spray around his entire body, making him very weak and tired" he said, when I heard those words, I was so hurt by his words .
"Isn't there any way they can help him?" I asked anxiously, he took a deep breath before he said.
" Yes they can help him, but he needs a blood transfer immediately, I was shocked to know that he has a very rare blood type Which is AB" I was shocked to hear that news, and I know my blood type is O+, I don't know where I'll such a very rare blood type.
"So isn't there any of that blood type in your blood bank?" I asked, be shook his head gently, which clearly indicates, that they are having non, I was confused and I don't know how I might be able to achieve my aims, if I don't eventually try to help him, I found myself feeling so vulnerable, I had the urge the cry.
"I'm sorry mam, but you don't have much time, because he's dying".
"I'm sorry to ask, but how many hours are we talking about here?" I asked, he drew in a deep breath, before he said.
"You have three hours " I exclaimed, I wondered where to get such a rare blood type in such a short amount of time, I tried as much to keep a calm expression, but deep within I was already feeling so scared and I don't know how to cope with the situation, I tried my best to forget about the whole thing, that's when I heard the loud voice of my father, he was beside the door, calling out my name.
I felt embarrassed the way my father was calling out my name, so I sprawled an awkward smile on my face, before I went out of the room, feeling so tired. I then went outside the room, while trying to calm down, there was that expression that shows, he was really angry.
"What is the matter dad?" I asked, he clenched his fist without saying a word.
"Dad, there is actually no time to be getting angry at this moment, the only thing that matters now, Is that we need to find a way to help my man, because he's dying" he said, which made me took a deep breath, I thought for a while and I managed to heaved a sigh while trying to think straight.
" What are you now trying to suggest?" He asked.
"What I'm trying to say is that we don't have much time, the only thing we need to do right now, if to find a way to help him and I don't care, where my help would come from, because they are actually demanding for a rate blood type which is AB " I said.
He was shocked, "moreso he had three hours left " I completed my sentence.
I started pacing back and forth, not knowing what to do, I called many lines to help me look for that blood type and I was ready to pay any amount for it, but there was no response for all the poeple I have called.
I started losing Hope of ever finding a solution to help my husband, I just don't know how to cope with the situation, but I'm already worried, because two hours it's already gone and there no One is helping me with any relevant information, I tried my best to forget about everything, but the lingering of Jacob risking his life, just to save me it's something that I don't know how to handle.
He saved my life and I'm doing nothing to also safe his life and it's something that's bothering me, I tried my best to calm down, I then heard the lingering voice of Aiden, he stood beside me, I didn't bother to look at him, because I don't want him to start being emotional right now but that's when he said something that I was least expecting to hear from him.
" I'm AB positive and I'll give your husband my blood only on one condition" he said..
