I squint my eyes to the blaring light of the day, peeking through the window. I managed to let out a sigh before I managed to rub my eyes.
I remembered what happened yesterday, it brought a smile to my face, I noticed that the most beautiful woman on Earth was sleeping so peacefully, it made me sprawled a genuine smile on my face, I couldn't stop the feeling anymore.
I love to have him close to me And to experience nothing but love.
I drew in a deep breath before I leaned closer to kiss her cheeks.
Then I heard my phone ring, I groaned in frustration, I hate to be disturbed, I have already told Jared not to call me, no matter how important it is, then who was calling me now?
With a sigh of frustration, picked up the phone and I noticed it was a new contact then I still answered the call, I was surprised when I heard the voice of the doctor.
"Good morning".
"Yes... morning".
" I'll like to inform you about the death of Celine, it came as a surprise to us, because she was doing perfectly, only for me to hear a scream coming from her ward when I rushed in there, she was screaming, I don't know what happened, so took her last"the doctor explained.
I don't know why it was somewhat of a relief when I heard this news, could it be of the hatred that I once had for her?
"Okey we would be right there" I informed the doctor, he let out a sigh before he ended the call.
I looked up, I didn't say a word, I let the silence take its reigns.
" Josephine..." I called out.
She opened her eyes begrudgingly before she stared at me, " yes...is anything wrong?" She asked, her eyes droopy.
I hate to just voice out everything to her, but I have to, we have to go back.
"Celine is dead?" I said with a sad expression.
"What!! How... what happened" she was also shocked as am.
"I'm sorry to disrupt this honeymoon, but we need to go back," I said, I was feeling sad and I hate to make her look this way, I always want to keep her happy at all times.
"Don't worry, let's get ready to leave" she said abruptly. I nodded then we went to the bathroom to take a shower and got ready to leave.

We were both sited In the doctor's office, while waiting for him, he arrived gently after he heard of our arrival.
"I heard you went for your honeymoon, my sincere apology for intruding" he apologized.
"No need to apologize, I'm curious doctor, what happened?" She asked.
"That's something science can't explain, because she was recovering well, then, unfortunately, she Ju, st died..." He sank a breath. "My apologies" he continued.
He had the look like almost he has failed as a doctor. I was shocked by the news but I knew that situations like this do happen.
"Please keep her in the mortuary we would make preparations for the burial," I said which made him draw in a deep breath, then he nodded before he went to do as he was instructed.
We went back home, and I noticed that just Josephine was sad.
"I'm sorry, it happened that way, I knew that things should have turned out better, but there was nothing we could have done ".
She leaned on my shoulder, then she looked at me, " I have done to love her, but why was life so unfair ".
" Life is unpredictable " I replied.
I was about to say another word, only to see that Selina was running towards the toilet before she started vomiting.
After she was done throwing up, she came outside, her face looked so pale.
"What's the matter Selina, did you eat something bad?" I asked curiously, she gently shook her head, and she started fidgeting with her dress While she held her gaze down.
"Talk to me, what's the matter?" I asked curiously.
"I'm... I'm pregnant " she voices out, making me open my eyes wide in shock.
"You are what?" I yelled at her, I have always tried to see I help her as much as I could, and now she's pregnant? I noticed hot tears, streaming down her cheeks, is clear enough she was not happy with the outcome of the situation.
"I'm sorry sir, I...I don't know what came over me, I... I".
"You what Selina?" I yelled.
"I was lost in the moment at the moment, not knowing that it was going to result in pregnancy" she tried to back up her words, the way she said it, more like she did the right thing by giving her body to the unknown bastard.
"You were what? I can't believe you still have the guts to say this crap right at my face" I was so angry. I have taught of educating her and wanting to treat her like my daughter, I never expected her to do this, not only to me but herself.
" Calm down Jacob, everyone can be in this situation " Josephine tried to justify her actions and it made me angrier.
I know shouldn't be this angry, but I can't help it, I drew in a deep breath before I look at her and asked, "have you ever taught of furthering your education?" I asked.
She held her face down and nodded, " that's what I have also wanted for you Selina, when you walked into this house a few months ago, the only thing I wanted was to see that you complete your education, so now this pregnancy had ruined everything " I said, my voice was trembling, I was almost in tears.
" You need to calm down, everything is going to be alright, she can still raise the child and go to school," Josephine said to me.
