Thought of making her jealous

Jacob's POV
When we are at home, she bit her nails awkwardly, while trying to keep calm, I then went close to her before I made her stared at me which she did, she was having that expression that shows she was not happy with my actions.
" I'm sorry the way I intrude in your conversation but i actually hate..." I trailed without being able to continue with my sentence.
"Hate to what?" She asked inquisitively.
"To promise what you know you can't fulfill" I said before I tried to bring her close to me, but she immediately stop me even before doing so.
"What did you mean by that? Did you think I'll ever fall for you?" She asked. I don't know why her statement hurt me so badly but it did.
"I don't want to talk much about this, I'll be going to work" I said, before I stood up to head outside, I felt relief swept through me when I know for the fact that she is at home, not with her ex.
When I reached my office, I took a deep breath before I sat on my well furnished sit,I started checking some pending signed documents, before I started reading the content. I was not done, only to hear a knock from the door, it made me thought for a while, wondering who it was.
"Yes you can come in" I said . I then noticed a young lady, who seemed to be in her late twenties. She has perfect figure with a beautiful facade, her Brown hair managed to cascade down her back, matching up with her White shirt and a tight mini skirt, I just couldn't stop admiring her, she was the epitome of beauty. But despite everything I found myself not too fund of her, than my current wife .
"Good morning sir" she greeted politely, before she placed a copy of the documents I had asked her earlier on.
" Can I sit close to you?" She asked. I furrowed my brows at her question, it dawned on me, that there was that lingering interest she had for me, but she never made it clear.
"And why would you do that?" I asked calmly.
" I just want to be looking at the document even more clearly as you explained it to me" she said, making me plaster a smirk on my face.
I plastered a smirk on my face, when an idea came to me. I continued explaining to her, how she needs to work more on her documents, so it would bring out the quality work in it, I took a deep breath, while trying to calm myself down, because some distracting thoughts of my current wife, was already lingering into the depts of my memory, I just wish I could meet her right now.
But I have a target and I'll make sure I achieve it, and I'll use my secretary to be able to achieve my aim.
"Okay boss, I'll work on this document, but is there any other thing you will like me to do for you?" She asked, I shook my head, immediately .I stood up while waiting for her, to leave, I'll just send her a text, i then went outside the office, before I head towards the cafeteria.
I sat on of the well furnished chairs before I ordered for a cup of coffee, I took a sip, before I decided to text my secretary Celine to avail herself in the cafeteria,in less than seconds I noticed a reply from her, almost like she was waiting for the arrivals of my message, I took a deep breath, while trying to calm myself.
I closed my eyes and all I see is her, I don't know why I want no one else but her even Right from High school.
After sometime, I then noticed the way she strode gracefully into the cafe, as her tight skirt rightly accentuate her curves, making her look even more beautiful.
"Please have a sit" I said to her, which she did, she stared at me with a calm expression, while looking at me Intently, her beautiful eyes glimmed with happiness and her lips sprawled to a smile, while waiting for me to start talking.
I noticed her hair was a little disheveled, unlike before, I plastered a smirk on my face, I know the way she has always wanted me even right from the beginning.
" Can I do anything for sir?" She asked respectfully, but her tone of voice was a little seductive.
"Yes I'll like to take you out for a dinner, I hope that won't be a problem right" I asked, her expression turn from a calm one to a happy one.it was evident enough that she was excited about the whole ordeal .
"Sir did you really mean it" .
"Yes of course" .
"I thought you will never ask, I know you have something for me, but you are too shy to express it" when that words escape her lips, i had to coughed, while sipping my drink.
"Are you okey sir?" She asked, while patting my back gently.
" I don't remember telling you , that I was taking you for a date, I just wanted to take you out so we can discuss the upcoming meeting more properly " I said. immediately her cheeks turned crimson red with embarrassment, her face was evidently full of shock, I didn't utter a word while looking at her patiently, she had her lips curled to an awkward smile before said.
"My apologies sir, I was thinking otherwise " she said gently which made me plaster a smile on my face, I'm not strick with my employees, because I have to that cordial relationship with them.
"No problem, so can we go now?" I asked her, she plastered a smile on her face, before she nodded, when we were out of the cafeteria, I led her to my car.
She was mostly looking outside the window, making it evident that she was embarrassed, I didn't say a word, till we reached the restaurant.
When we stepped in, she was fascinated by the building, the way it was well strictured, it shows the beauty of it, but I wasn't fascinated because it was not my first time actually coming here, I took a deep breath, before I sat down.
"What is your order" a waiter came, as he handed the menu to both of us, I noticed the way Celine was fascinated by the list of food that was ordered here, she then picked a simple pizza which made me surprised.
"Are you really sure you will be okey with that?" I asked her, she just nodded.
While our order was on its way, I started by asking about her background.
" I noticed that you are s competent worker and you have good credentials, but why did you apply for the work as a mere secretary?" .
She had her face low, as she curled her hands into a fist, making it evident that it might because of a past event that might have led to this.
"I'm very sorry, but i can't disclose it to you now, because it's something I don't want to remember ever again" she trailed, before she added while changing the topic, " so how's your wife right now" she asked.
" She's fine..." I pursed before I continued, " you know you got potential, and I don't want you too hide anything from me, I'll really want want to help you in any way that I can, " I try to persuade her further by using a soothing voice.
Before I could realize what was happening, she took a deep breath, as hot tears managed to cascade down her cheeks.
"I'm very soon sir, but I think I won't be able to tell you now, maybe can we go somewhere more secluded, so I'll be able to tell you everything " she said, I took a deep breath while trying to calm myself down, and if that's what she wants I'll grant her wish.
" Okey, just tell me the venue, and I'll make necessary arrangements" I see a girl who has potential, but there is something that's stoping her from trying to excel in life.
" In a beach" she said simply, her venue made my heart sank, because going to a beach it's somewhere I have always wanted to go with Josephine and no one else.
"Change venue" I said.
"But that's what I want, I don't want to anywhere else" she said gently, which made me heaved a sigh.
After our order was placed, we started eating while I try to observe her expression, I noticed she was not comfortable, it was almost like she doesn't like where our conversation is heading to.
"I think we need to leave" I said to her, she immediately nodded, before I went out of the restaurant after paying the bills, I noticed that my mum was already outside while holding her bag, she was standing, almost like she was waiting for me which baffled me even more.
