Unexpected condition

I stared at Aiden for a while, I couldn't utter a word, because I was already speechless, I tried to wrapped my head around the whole ordeal, while trying to get a grip on myself, the thought of it all made my heart ached, I hate the fact this time he would be the one to help me.
" Okey I'm going to help him, only on one condition" he said with a smirk etched on his face.
"What is that condition"I found myself being so desperate. he came closer to me, before he had my cheeks in his firm palms.
" I know you are a strong lady for that reason, I expect you to accept my conditions with a tough heart" he said, which made me curved my lips to a smile, I tried as much as possible to keep a calm expression, before I managed to stand up, because his gaze was so firm and predatory.
I managed to rushed Inside the house, already feeling scared, I couldn't utter a single word, the only thing I needed at this moment was to save my husband and I don't care which ways I'll eventually used in other save him..

He stared at me in awe, Before he smirked and left, when he was gone, I managed to take a deep breath, before I head towards the bathroom, where I started crying and hoping that everything would be alright, I don't know what else to say, but deep within I was hoping for the best.
When I was done thinking, I came outside before I went to the doctors office, where he was filing so e documents.
" I'm glad you were able to bring a donor before he took his last" he said, while trying to wrap his head around him, I don't know what else to say, but I was praying Inwardly that everything would go well.
"Yes sir, so how's he doing at the moment?" I asked, he took a deep breath, Before he eventually said.
"Yes he's doing well, but I'm afraid he would need to undergo a surgery before he does anything ".
"Surgery! Why just because of s snake bite?" I was shocked, he shook his head.
"It's not only because of the snake bite, but he was also having a cardiac arrest for a while now and the snake bite, immediately contributed to the problem ".
" Okey, but I Hope after the surgery, he would be fine " .

After countless hours of waiting, the doctor arrived and said.
" You can now go and see your husband, he's now awake" . When I heard those words, I was so emotional, the only thing I wanted at that moment, was to go there and tell him how I feel, I was already missing his smiles, they way he would look at me and curved his lips to a smile.
When I reached the ward, I closed my eyes, because I was not ready to see him again, I then decided to go in, that's when I saw him, the way he had a smile on his face, the one that makes me love him even more, I can't help it, I just want make things right between us..
He was staring at me, his lips was curved to a thin line before he let out a husky groan, when he attempted to stand up. I hurriedly rushed towards him, before I hugged him, while showing how I care, and the thought of losing him was not appealing to me.
"Please don't do that to me again, before u won't be able to bare it" I cried Before I hugged him, showing how much he meant to me
