What deal?

Jacob's POV
I felt that spark of hope, when I noticed her expression, it was evident enough that she was sad and she cared.
Deep within me, I'm hurt if she eventually leaves me, but I had already told her to go with the flow even right from marriage and I'll have no other option but to let her go, when the right time comes, I can't force myself on her but rather I needed to let her go.
But after seeing her expression, I know she cares, I know that she doesn't want to leave me after the six months trail, but do I have a choice.
When she left, after telling me she needed some rest, I Knew something must be up, that's the reason why I decided to follow her to her room, but I ended up standing beside the door, not brave enough to go Inside the room. I let out a sigh feeling so much pain , I just wish to open the door and tell her how much she means to me and I don't want her to ever leave me, but unfortunately the pain was just too immense that I can't bring myself to confess how much I love her, my childhood crush, the woman that had meant and would continue to mean everything to me.
After sometime, I noticed the way she was talking to someone on a video call, but I can't detect who it was, that's the reason I decided to peek through the door and eavesdrop on their conversation, I don't know what I'll achieve by doing this but I just want to know what's she's telling her friend.
After sometime, I let out a sigh, because the conversation they were having was none of my business, and I was about to leave. Only to hear what captured my attention.
"We have already made a deal with Aiden, for that reason I have to let go of Jacob after six months of marriage ".
When I heard those words, I opened the door, evidently shocked.
"What!!" I exclaimed.
She immediately stood up with evident fear in her eyes, she started fidgeting with her dress, while trying to dart her gaze to different location.
I was finding it hard to wrap my head around the whole ordeal.
"Tell me the deal you had with him " I yelled, she shook her head violently, almost like it was a misunderstanding.
" I said tell me" I shouted angrily.
"Please don't shout at me" she pleaded with her welling eyes, it was evident that she was scared. this is a bad sad of me that I can't hide, no matter how hard I tried, I took a deep breathe, Before I went closer to her cupped her cheeks, making her look at me deep Into my eyes.
"Josephine, please don't lie to me, just tell me the Truth and tell me what deal you had with Aiden" I said in a very soothing voice. Her eyes bored into mine, before she allowed the glistening tears to freely paved it's way down her cheeks. She shook her head gently, which clearly illustrates that she doesn't want to tell me, I found myself trying to calm down, because the moment I continued talking to her, I know for sure I might lose it and start shouting at her and I don't want that to happen.
" I'm very sorry, but I can't tell you".
I turn away to leave because I'm still finding it hard to control my anger.
" Please don't leave me just yet please" she pleaded, but I was not listening to her, because I was feeling so much rage. Whenever it comes to the matters of the heart, I can't control my myself, for that reason I always try to be far away from the person before I make decision that I might later regret.
I clenched my fist and wondered what deal she might have made with Aiden, I came to realize that I needed to calm down and wait for the best, I took a deep breath, while trying to calm myself down.
I wanted to go to the bar again, but the lingering thought of what happened yesterday, it's something, I don't want to experience again.
I sat outside the house, I noticed the way many of my house servants were looking at me, then the chef Managed to come closer to me before he said.
"Did you care for a cup of juice?" He asked, I shook my head before I said.
"No I prefer something strong like vodka or whiskey" I said which made him shock..
"But Sir you have never demanded for any of those"..
" That's none of your business Roger, Just do as I said" he nodded, before he went Inside to bring my order, I was still trying to wrap my head around the whole ordeal. I'm not bothered about the deal they had, but I'm scared that they are planning to leave me even leave this country immediately after the six months trail.
"Are you Okey sir, or should I prepare a cold water for you?" One of housekeepers asked, I immediately shook my head, I just needed something strong to make me forget about everything.
I don't know why I eventually come to love her this much, no matter how I tried to forget about her, I just couldn't. Her beautiful face always find a way of seeping into my thoughts.
" Don't forget about me, no matter the situation we found ourselves" the flash of memory seeped in, when we were still younger, she made me promise for us to always stand by each other, no matter what happens.
I was already having the raw urge to cry, but I tried to control the burning tears, which made me feel so vulnerable..
"Here is your order sir" the voice of Rogers echoed, before I took the cup of vodka from him and immediately gulped it in one go.
I then heard the voice I least wanted to hear at the moment.
" Good morning Boss" the voice of my secretary echoed.
