Nostalgic feeling of hurt

Jacob's POV
I was not happy, especially when I noticed the way, he was actually leaving with her, but I have already made a promise to her, giving her the permission she needed.
When she was gone with her boyfriend, I found myself feeling so frustrated, I had to try to stop myself from doing anything irrational.
I then decided to sit on the couch, Before I noticed the presence of my friend Simone, be was standing beside the door, while folding his hands, he had a smirk on his face.
" Hey man" I started.
"Should I come in" he asked with a smirk, i didn't give an answer, because it was left for him to come in or not.
He then walked in when he noticed my silence.
"What the problem?" He asked, "nothing man, just some stuffs that are not that necessary " I said before I took s sip of the strong whiskey.
"Why did you chose her among all other women, now it's evident you are hurt, especially when he left with guy " he said, which made me took a deep breath, I have been wondering the same thing over and over again.
"I don't know, maybe we had something back when we were still in school " I said nonchalantly, which made him plaster a smile on his face, he took one last breath before, he stood up.
" I know you are trying to avoid the truth, but it's evident in your eyes, that you still love her, despite all these years" he said to me, I immediately shook my head.
"No I don't ".
"Yes..I know you do, you don't need to deny it, I can see it in your eyes,so please stop pretending " he said, I then rushed towards the window as I stared at the green plants through the window.
' do I still love her?' I asked underneath my breath, but I can't give myself an answer.
" I'll be leaving so you can sought things out for yourself, so you will able to realize what you really want, by asking yourself what you really want " Simone said before he left. I was left alone thinking on what he said, I then went to the garden, while trying to wrap my head around what I'm feeling, I just couldn't bring myself to forget about what my friend did said to me.
I took a deep breath as the lingering thought of when we were young still seeped in, the day when I felt something so strong for her, and she never felt the same way for me.
We work together after school as we work hand in hand, almost everyone was admiring us, the way we were looking so beautiful and attractive, our hands were intertwined together, I felt her soft hands and I don't want to let go.
"Please come with me" I said to her, before I started walking towards the Beach that was few meters away from school, she was looking at me with a confused expression.
"Where are we actually going to?" You know very well that I hate water.
" You sure about that?" I asked with a smirk, before I pushed her to the water, thinking she can swim, but rather she screamed.
I noticed the way she was struggling while attempting to be close to the seashore, I immediately became restless, as I tried to bring her out of the water, while bringing her to the seashore.
I checked her pulse, before I managed to stare at her, the thing I needed to do, was to try and absurd the water from her, for that reason, I had to kiss her while trying to absurd the water and trying to stable her breathing.
She immediately jolted in fear, before her lips landed on mine,her lips was so soft, I can't help it any longer, before I dive deeper to the kiss, letting her know how starved I was.
I noticed the shock expression in her eyes, but she also did the same, when she wrapped her hands around my neck, while trying to dive deeper into the kiss, I can't bring myself to say a word, I tried as much to keep calm, before I noticed the smile that was evident on her face, there was that blush that I didn't fail to noticed.
That was the Beginning of my strong and intense emotions for her, it actually started with just a kiss. We are friends but I wanted more from her, I took a deep breath, while trying to calm myself down, that's when I decided to do the least expected thing, before I placed another soft kiss on her cheeks, she was looking at me in the eyes.
" I love you" I blurted out of no where, I noticed the shock expression in her eyes, she didn't say a word, before she immediately stood up, and she started walking away, making me so hurt.
I thought she felt the same way for me, but it was unfortunate she was not feeling that way for me, I tried as much to keep calm, before I also stood up, while heading towards the my house, I noticed there was something in her gaze which evidently proved that she doesn't love me.
As that thought seeped in, I felt that pain that has always been lingering in me for a long time, I took a deep breath, before I decided to head towards their location.
When I reached there, I noticed the it was the same beach we have shared so much with her, I noticed the way Aiden held her cheeks while looking at her with intense emotions, he then claimed her lips.
I felt so hurt when I noticed that, I just couldn't bring myself to say a word, because I was actually feeling nothing but pain, I tried as much to keep calm, before I managed to take steady strides towards then.
They never knew that I was there, because they were so engrossed to each other.
"Okey promise me that you won't fall for him and your heart would always belong to me" he said.
"I...".
"Why would she do that?" I cut in between her words , I can't believe that she was about to promise.
But it's quite unfortunate, I'll then make her fall for me.
