Feeling restless

Josephine POV
I took a deep breath before I said, " it's Aiden, he's in trouble and I have to save him" I said exasperated, then I drove the car without waiting for him to convince me the do the opposite.
I drove down to his house, I tightly clenched the steering wheel, feeling nothing but immense pain, I prayed inwardly that nothing happened to him, my heart felt so much pain, I tried as much as possible to keep calm.
When I reached his house, the place was silent and the room weird, I wanted to turn back and leave.
Then I heard the husky voice of my Aiden, he let out a groan of pain, almost like he was suffering.
"Aiden" I called out gently, immediately there was silence.
"Aiden" this time I was a little bit louder, I took a deep breath while trying to calm down, I couldn't bring myself to go in, because I'm scared of what I might face when I eventually Walk Inside.
" Are you there?" I asked again, And there was nothing, I tried as calm down, but deep within me I was scared and I can't ignore that fact.
I tried to encourage myself, by telling myself that I'm brave enough and I can do it, after that I walked Inside the house, the house was dark and eerie, and I felt goosebumps all over my body.
"Aiden are you there?" I asked, my voice already trembling with fear, before I could utter a word, I felt strong hands around my neck, I attempted to scream, only for my mouth to be covered with a White hanky. I inhaled the strong stench of cocaine, before I know could know what was happening I blacked out while trying to keep a calm expression.

Jacob's POV
The moment, my wife left, I felt like part of me was no longer there, the part that I have always wanted to have so close to me, I want to have her for myself, I don't know I'm selfish and possessive when it comes to her.
I took a deep breath, I had to let out a husky groan while trying to console myself that everything would be fine. Even though I know everything is not fine, I know what I did was not right, I tried as much as possible to forget about everything, but I can't forget about it, no matter how I tried.
I went to the kitchen, I attempted to fetch some water in the glass cup, but it slipped from my hand and fell on the ground, allowing the water content to splash on the ground, and the glass shattered to pieces.
My heart bled when I noticed the scenario because it became very clear that something bad might have happened to my wife.
I became very restless, I know I don't even have the right to go and look for her because of what I did to her, but I have to look for her I can't bare the thought of anything happening to her.
I decided to call her number and her line was switched off, I became more restless, I ruffled my hair and let out a sigh of frustration, I'm very worried because I don't want anything to happen to her.
"Mum...." I voiced out gently after I had called her mother, she sounded worried just the way I was, especially the way I observed how she let out a gentle sigh.
"Yes honey, I want to ask if Josephine is there with you?" She asked, I shook my head before I replied to her.
"No she's not here, I called, intending to know if she's Okey," I said.
She drew in a deep breath, I can hear her restless breath before she said.
" No she Left a while ago, we tried to stop her, but she was unstoppable, she was bent on going to you, no matter how hard I tried to stop her," she said with a very nervous voice, I was scared, I was already panicking and I don't know what to do, in other to calm my raging nerves.
" But...but did she tell you where she was going to?" I asked, she then let out a sigh before she said.
"She was in a rush, but I can't detect her words clearly when she left, but she said she was going to Aiden and some sought, I don't know," she said frustrated about the fact that she can't remember no matter how tried.
I took a deep breath before I creased my brows and pinched my nose because I was frustrated, I tried so hard to forget about everything, but unfortunately, I just can't, I know she was angry with me, that's why she just left like that, but I want to make things right, I found myself feeling so uneasy.
"It's there anything you are not telling me?" I asked her mother, but she immediately replied no, so I ended the call and think of another alternative, I then called my assistant, who have Lot of connections when it comes to knowing people who are good and pros in the Cyber world.
When I called him, he immediately went to work and started searching calling people that would help in the search, I know something is not right, I can feel it and I can detect it, I release a sigh, trying to calm down to see there are any updates, as I kept on searching if there is any information that can be of help but nothing seems to yield to anything, I tried as much as possible to keep calm before I went ahead towards the door, I noticed a man who was standing beside the door, he had his lips curled to a smirk.
"Who are you?" I asked confused, he smiled before he said.
"I'm Darian, I was told you give you this," he said before he handed a letter to me, then let gave me a document to sign.
"Please sign here," he said before he left.
