“I cannot believe that I slept throughout that confrontation, I would have told him where he can put his many ideas about us in.” Gwenn rages as she paced around the room we were given, a room for 15 persons, it doesn’t matter that the room was big enough.
“Talking back to him might earn you a punishment.” I tell her rubbing my eyebrow because of the headache that was coming.
“You did and you weren’t punished.” Gwenn pointed out.
“Yes I did and I didn’t insult him or tell him to shovel his ideas into his body through the means of his butthole.”
“I don’t see why it matters what you say or not, there is no way that he can be influenced into something which he will not like, the best that we can do is list the reason why being allies with us will be in their best interest and also the things we will give up for negotiations.” Orel said as Gwenn shook her head.
“He is be kissing your feet that the great Warlord of the Dar empire came to his kingdom.” Gwenn stated.
“Our titles doesn’t matter here, if we try to ascertain communication that way then we will lose and it might not just be the alliance we will lose but maybe also our lives.” Orel passed his hand through his hair in an agitated manner.
“Why on earth didn’t you tell me that you were not allied with them before?” I got into Orel face angrily, the emotion I didn’t display was fear, and I was scared of what was going to happen. I was scared of what the prince said, he was right. This was his kingdom and he could do whatever he please in it and with the way those voices at the border reacted, it was clear that it might not be able to seek to seek an audience with the king, the prince held the ultimate decision now.
“I didn’t see that information as important and although they presented the front that they want to be alone, we let them be because of that. We were already planning on establishing contact with them.” Orel defended himself while shifting away from me. “Besides we will dine with them this evening, we just have to be on our best behaviors.” Orel said as I let out a laugh.
“We are not going anywhere near their table today or even tomorrow, he will keep us locked here for on his whim just to demonstrate that he has all the rights and power here.” I settled on the bed just to sleep.
“That is not possible, he would not risk having The Dar Empire as an enemy.” Gwenn shook her head unwilling to listen to me.
“He doesn’t care.” I yawned tired. “Keep my food for me will you Orel.”
“They would not give us our food in here that will be like treating us like prisoners.” Orel brows farrowed in confusion at my words.
I chuckled. “You haven’t seem to realize that is what we are for the time being.”
Before any of them could counter me, the down part of the door slide open as trays were pushed into the room, when the door closed back, we saw it was food and that was when Gwenn went mad with angry and started to attack the door, nothing she did worked. We were the ones who made a mistake by not asking for our weapons when we were being transported to this room, it could be my fault since I was the only one awake them but my mind never thought towards that area. Now, we were at the whims of the Northshore prince.
