Chapter 12

Czar barges in and he is a walking volcano about to erupt, both men are concerned,
'What is it czar?" Loki is the first to ask, 'why are you so angry even though you're angry all the time?" Loki tries to soften the atmosphere but it wasn't working.
'It's Arcadia, that good for nothing princess just, she just, arhh!!" He kicks a chair off balance and they knew something was wrong,
'She what? Does she already belong to someone?" Mace wanted to know, 'tell me what happened to her??!!" He didn't want anyone to have her, she was his.
'She rejected you."
The only thing that could be heard was the gasp that came out of a mouth, it was a maid that was bringing the food, she couldn't believe her Master had been rejected. Their eyes turned to her snd she quickly put the food down and ran back to her position, she was rather young, about 14, but she was going to be the one that would spread the gossip,
'Are you sure that happened? I mean how can that even happen? It has never happened, maybe you read her words wrong?" Loki tries to understand where the whole situation was coming from,
'She said master's mother should teach him how to respect her before he even comes close to her, and her mother was in support of her bad attitude!! Of course she said all those things!! She insulted all of us!!" He spits with the venom in his heart, 'she said if you want to fight then you should go fight."
'Czar listen, don't let us be to hasty in this situation, we need to make sure we're understanding them clearly before we take action. We cannot afford to make a mistake, the sage has never been wrong and she won't ever be wrong, you know how powerful she is!" Loki shot back.
'If I hadn't known the sage then I would say that she is a scam!! Arcadia is a rude lousy girl with no manners at all." They contnued to argue back and forth and this was making Mace's blood boil and It had reached his throat,
'ENOUGH!! EVERYONE SHUT UP!!" he had snapped and that is what Czar wanted, 'who does she think she is?! What is she exactly?!! Call the sage here immediately!!! If it's war they want then it is war they will get!!" He was so angry he had lost all appetite, he storms out and Czar follows him,
'What has Czar done?" Loki face palms himself and runs to calm his brother down before his fellow Beta makes the matter worse. They shouldn't be going to war over trivial circumstances.
This wasn't going to go down well and he knew it.
The stars had begin to sparkle and the couple were in their secret garden enjoying the blessing Artemis had given them,
'Darling, what do we do now? We have openly sent an invitation to war and I know their alpha, he won't hesitate to answer it with gunpowder and fire." Xerxes is a bit worried, 'and I know he would come after our daughter." His lover squeezes his hand gently,
'I know my girl, she is a bit lazy but she is not weak, she won't hesitate to shed blood if it comes to that. It would just hurt her to see me go." She sighs heavily,
'Don't talk like that Octavia, how would you leave us? Why would you leave us?" His fingers brush against the skin of her cheeks, 'just promise me you won't die." He begs her,
'Xerxes—" she is cut off as she tried to give him another excuse,
'Promise me!!" His brows furrow and she sighs heavily once again,
'I swear on my daughter that I won't die, are you happy?" She smiles at him as a shooting start falls across them, this makes him smile and his kisses her gently, 'are you trying to tempt me tonight?" She laughs lightly.
'Maybe," he smirks devilishly at her, 'you're just looking fo beautiful tonight," he was looking at her a bit too much before she covers his eyes,
'See no evil Xerxes." She laughs at her joke,
'I only see beauty and love," he pulls her hand to stare into her eyes, 'I only see love…." He is getting hypnotized by her charm, and he wasn't resisting,
'Xerxes can yourself down!!" She pushes him away, 'men are impossible!" She giggles as he drew her closer to him, taking in her intoxicating scent, she moans a little as he breathed on her neck, 'we can't do this out here, what if someone see us?" Her cheeks rmare stained with pink.
'Since when have you cared about that?" His comment makes her burst into laughter, anytime she laughed out loud it was sweet and sonorous, he couldn't get enough of it,
'You're too much for me." She was right to marry him behind her husband, 'did you teach her that technique?" She quickly changes the subject,
'Affirmative, and she learnt it in a matter of two hours, it's impressive how fast she learns when she puts her mind to it, I'm proud to be her father……" Thoughts begin to fill his head, 'she doesn't know anything yet, what are we going to do if she ever finds out?"
'I think she would be happy to hear that you're actually her father, she would be angry with us but we would bribe her." Octavia laughs a little, 'if we tell her now then it might upset her emotionally and we need her at her best right now, she can be attacked anytime."
'You're right, I guess a few more days won't be hard….I hope she understands." He moves some loose strands of her beautiful hair away from her face, he wanted to see her clearly in the moonlight.
'If she is truly our daughter then I'm sure she would understand, I don't doubt her strength or capabilities, it's such a sad thing that she would have to go through this tough time. And we might not be there to support her." Her eyes droop with heavy emotions.
