She is carried there, he checks for basic things and he nods, Loki is worried and excited at the same time. Worried that her health might be getting worse or excited that she might be getting better. And he was very positive that she was getting better, if not she wouldn't have been able to do all those things she did.
'Anything?" He was peering at Conan and he had to step back a bit so he would be able to talk,
'Did she do anything extra today? Did you see any improvements?" His questions brought a smile to his face,
'Yes…she did some battle moves and….I have a feeling she's from the rose clan. I can actually say for myself that she is getting better." He was at the brink of tears and Conan felt bad that the Queen was playing him like a deck of cards,
'That means it must have been the medicine, it was a bit stronger the last time I gave it to her. How about her scent?" He asks and Loki's shoulders slump,
'There's a possibility that she might never get it back, she's unrecognizable to anyone, even her clan." He looks at Orla and admires her features, 'she reminds me of someone so much but I can't seem to place my finger on it. I just pray to the goddess she gets better," he turns to Conan, 'take care of her for me, I want to give Mace the good news." And he bolts out of the room.
Immediately he left she opened her eyes and started bringing things out from her breasts,
'Do you always keep things there?" That was the dumbest question of the year, she face palms so hard that it hurts, 'and hey!! You should be unconscious!" He notes and she rolls her eyes,
'Your medicine is horrible and it always makes me weaker, not stronger, who in the sacred lands taught you how to be a doctor?" She sneers at him and his eyes began to wander because of her question, 'didn't you learn from someone?" And her eyes are filled with fear, he laughs nervously as he admired every other thing in the room, 'you need to be jailed." She concludes and exhumes a key from her dress.
'What's that now? And how many things can you keep in there?" It was more of a compliment since she had large boobs,
'I can keep your corpse in there if I wish." She bites back and it hits his heart, 'that's the key to the treasure room, give it to Arcadia the moment you see her." She tells him and she searches for another thing, it was a bit lost but she would eventually find it and she did, 'this is the map of the entire palace, all the networks and passages, give this to my husband when you see him."
'How are you doing all of this?" He didn't understand her anymore, one moment she was an actress and the next she was an FBI agent.
'This is a war we're talking about, if we really want to help then we should make it easier for our allies to win." She bonks his head and he cries in pain, 'and…." She brings out a small dagger, 'you would need this to defend yourself, if you can. No one would be spared from my daughter's blade. She is coming with vengeance in her heart." She places it in his hands.
He stares at it for a long time and his fingers tighten around the metal, he nods and she goes back to Orla once again. She bids him farewell and he looks at everything she gave him, memories wash up on him but what he wished for was to see Asher again. He had missed him terribly. He was his only family.
Evening is drawing close and the maids are scrambling to prepare dinner, the Alpha and the Betas are at the table discussing how to bring Arcadia to submission. Mace and Czar had already settled with luring her out of her protection then ambushing her, but Loki had second thoughts as he never forgot what Sativa told him.
'She would only fight back Mace, she is not weak." Loki tries to make his brother understand but he had spent too much time with Czar and now he was beginning to think like him.
'How many of us can she fight? How many? She would burn out eventually and she would be captured." It made sense as Czar said it out loud but Loki knew there was more to it,
'Even both of us combined wasn't enough to defeat Queen Octavia, we barely escaped with our lives and should I remind you that she is old?" His sarcastic tone made the atmosphere stiff, 'she alone killed half our army before her demise, what do you think Queen Arcadia would be able to do?"
'Arcadia is still young, she doesn't know much yet," Mace puts in place but Loki is irked by his statement,
'And why were you so badly injured that day you went to fight her?" They both stare at his audacity and he shakes his head, 'I'm sorry to say master but until you stop underestimating the Queen you would never be able to take her down. If you belittle her you will always be shocked by how much she can do."
'Are you saying our master can't do much?" Czar wants to pick a fight,
'You keep giving him false hopes and wrong advice, if you went head on with Queen Arcadia I doubt if there would even be a spectacle of dust left from you. You would be wiped out from the universe without a trace!" And Loki is ready to fight.
'That's enough Loki." He didn't want to hear it anymore, he was his brother but he was already pissed,
'No!! You need to hear this out Mace!" All form of respect had been thrown away, 'Queen Octavia's voice made me deaf, our soldiers bled to death because she opened her mouth. She uses her voice as a weapon, how do we beat that? Do we gag her? And if we want to do so then would she give us the opportunity to even let us come near her? No!! Stop listening to Czar, he's an idiot!!"
He was breathing heavily and there was a thick silence in the room,
'I apologise for raising my voice…." He just realized it but Mace was too sour to even look at him. There was tension in the air and their dinner was silent, and none was willing to say a word. And we can all agree that it was just because they mentioned Arcadia, it caused a rift between them. The reason why Mace hated her so much, anywhere she is mentioned there most always be chaos following it.
Dinner is not even up to half way done when a soldier comes and he bows, he looked quite worried and since Loki was in charge of them all, they decided not to say anything about it. Until he spoke up,
'What is wrong knight?" He dropped his fork to listen attentively to what his student had to say.
'I don't know how it happened but it seems the palace has been infiltrated."
'What?!" They all scream in unison and he didn't like their response one bit,
'What do you mean? What have you seen?" Loki was fretting, his defense system was impenetrable, how was it even possible that there was a hole in his plan?
'We found corpses and most of us are fast disappearing, they're killing us silently but I saw one of them in the shadows." His legs were shaking as he told how it happened. They stared at each other in disbelief and back to the soldier, 'she was at a height, with pink hair and she wore a mask, she—"
His head flies off and lands on the dining table,
'What in the name of the goddess?!!" Loki swears as the blood splattered on him, he saw the body limp on the ground and he could smell a characteristic rose scent, one he knew all too well. He stands to his feet to dodge the boomerang weapon and he catches glimpse of a fan, 'Sheila…." He murmurs to himself, 'but how?" How did she get into the palace?
Unless there was a spy. But who?
