Chapter 81

'I'm fine mother, it was just a scratch." The morning had come and they had managed to defend themselves against the parasitic demon wolves, Octavia had refused to leave her daughter's side and the excessive doting had gotten on Arcadia's nerves.
'It is clearly not just a scratch, you could have lost your foot Arcadia!!" She is so worried about her but she didn't see it as a big deal,
'Mother please, I'll be fine, Mace is here to take care of me." She points to her new lover who was leaning on the wall, she eyes his carefully, she had observed that she had been getting closer to Mace all of a sudden.
It felt too off to her, and what she saw last night was even more unsettling. She came to aid her daughter with her injury and she saw Mace in wolf form, he had the same dark appearance of one of the demon wolves but the only thing he had different was his eyes.
She guesses anyone could have that appearance but his aura felt different, it felt like he was one of them but how on Earth would she explain this to her daughter? It seemed Arcadia had fallen madly in love with him with just a small time frame of three days. Something was off. Someone was playing pranks and she knew very well it was Mace.
'Very well, take care of her." She commands before leaving the room, not saying another word. He moves from the wall and sits on her bed,
'I'm sorry I couldn't protect you." He pushes some locks away from her face and his touch was more than welcomed,
'I'm not dead and you did defend me, I don't know how to thank you." Her eyes glisten with love, 'I feel we got off on the wrong foot, I want us to make up for it." She says shyly and he smirks at her innocence, 'maybe we can start something together?" She doesn't look straight into his eyes.
He only smiles and kisses her.
Octavia was searching her library to it's roots, looking for what Czar took. She could still smell his scent around and it was what she used to track his movements in the library. But she was getting nowhere. She goes on a knee and an ancient circle, magenta in color with symbols appears around her,
'Divine revelation." And her eyes glow the neon version of her hair. And like she was there, Czar's image appears and it shows him searching for whatever he was looking for. She sees everything from head to toe and the book he takes, her eyes widen in disbelief as the vision ended, 'why did he take that book? What is going on goddess?!!"
Loki was spending quality time with Sheila, playing with her long locks,
'My love?" She calls out to him and he answers her with a hum, 'what if there is a war and we have to fight each other again?" She looked to him for an answer and he smiles,
'I made a mistake once, I won't repeat it ever." He reassures her and she prays he keeps his word; he would, it's Loki after all.
Octavia races round the whole palace looking for a certain deceitful wolf, she sights him trying to arrange some things and slows down her steps,
'Czar," she calls and he spins around to see his crush, the person hw had been dreaming of every night, 'I need your assistance with something, please follow me." She commands and he sees his life as being blessed by the goddess, this time he wouldn't hesitate to touch her.
He follows her slowly upstairs, although he felt uneasy he managed to keep composed. What was going through his wind is how she would push him to the wall and massage his crotch with her tongue. After all in his perception if she could cheat on her Kate husband to be with king Xerxes then she could also cheat on him to catch some fun.
He grins himself as she showed into the room, he turns around to see her,
'What have you called me for now Queen? We usually don't talk in private, is there something I should do?" He takes slow advances to her and she pulls her fan in between the space, he freezes in his tracks,
'I need you to return what you took from my library." Her voice Is stern and her eyes were hard, he thinks for a while before pulling a dumb face,
'What I took? I haven't been to your library, I don't even know where it is Queen." He lies through his teeth but Octavia could see it as clear as day, she moves the blade of her fan closer to his throat,
'I may be old Czar but I'm not a fool, bring it out before I turn you to a corpse." She warns and he shifts back a bit to avoid his death,
'But my Queen, listen to me," he sighs before moving closer to her, 'I haven't taken anything from your library but I can take something from you; all your frustrations. I see you seem stressed." He reaches out to hold her arm but she twists his finger and he yells in pain,
'Czar I'm warning you, I have fought a thousand men and killed all of them, you would be easy work if you don't bring out the book you took." He growls at her statement, who the hell does she think she is?
In a fit of rage he clamps his hand over her throat and throws her against the wall, she struggles to get his hand off but he kept apply pressure to it, shutting off her air supply,
'You're not as strong as you claim you are when you can't breathe, you're strong but also proud. You would never be able to defeat me with that attitude of yours." He speaks into her ear before going for her clothes. She kicks him in the crotch and lands him a deafening slap,
'You dare touch me?!" She picks him up by his blonde locks and slams his face back into the floor, his nose cracking underneath the force, 'bring out the book before you die!! What are you and Mace planning against my daughter?!!!" Her fan is so close to beheading him but some form of magic exhumes out of his hand and it hits her straight in the mid section.
She is sent back into the wall and she slides down slowly as her head connected to the hard material. She groans loudly as she felt something wet her hair, she touches the back of her head to see a trail of blood. Her vision is blurry as she sees Czar stand and approach her, he picks he up by her air and admires her for a while before tearing the sleeves of her dress.
'Don't touch me!!!" She kicks against him but he binds her hands behind her back, he grins devilishly and licks her left eye, 'Xer—" he silences her with a rough kiss but she bites his lips, he groans as the metallic taste of blood stains his mouth. He is infuriated at what kind of woman she is and runs his hand across her face sharply, he holds her head in place,
'Behave. Or you would die." He warns and tears of the rest of her clothes, groping her body and fulfilling his lustful desires, 'I've never seen a better woman!!" He is exited beyond reason and he pinches her nipples hard to cause her pain. But in retaliation she gives him a head butt, knocking him down to the ground.
She sees him attempting to stand but she attacks him again, 'destructive harmony!!" A sound wave ejects from her mouth and the high pitched scream makes Czar scream in pain, he could feel himself getting deaf and his ears were beginning to bleed out.
She tears the binds away and and slugs him in the face, she didn't stop until they reached the window, he pushes her back but she pushes him again and with one hit he is thrown out of the window. But lucky for him he lands in a rose bush but even the thorns would prick him to her satisfaction.
'Guards!!! Do not let him escape!!!" She calls out and rushes to capture him before he ran away but Czar was already on the run. Everyone was shocked to see the Queen coming down with torn clothes,
'Octavia what happened to you?!!" Xerxes grabs her by the waist and his body is against hers to cover her nude parts,
'Czar, he is planning something we have no idea of!! He stole the book of ancients from my library!! Catch him and kill him!! Bring his head back to me!!" She screams and more men rush to do her bidding, her eyes were filled with rage. Pain washed up on her after the adrenaline began to fade and she held into him for support,
'Octavia take it easy," he guides her to sit and he pulls off his robe for her, 'Asher!!!" He calls his student and he appears almost instantly,
'Master." He's on a knee,
'Bring me his head." That was all he said and Asher rushes to do his bidding, 'call Arcadia for me immediately!! Detain Mace and Loki!! They must have known about this!! Someone bring some water for the Queen!!" Everyone scatters to regulate the chaos that had occurred.
Arcadia rushes downstairs, leaving Mace and their intimate talk to see how her mother was doing. The state she saw Octavia was made her heart sink,
'Mother!!" She rushes to her side with tears in her heart, 'what happened to her?!!" She turned to Xerxes for an answer but he was boiling too,
'I wished she let us kill them in the first place!! Look at what they have done to her, they have taken advantage of her kindness!! Kill all of them!!" He orders in a fit of rage and her eyes widen in horror,
'Father!! No we cannot!!!" She begs him but the look he gave her broke her into pieces, 'please, Mace hasn't done anything wrong, we should punish Czar for it. I doubt if Mace knows anything about this!!" She reasons with him but he doesn't listen to her.
She bends down to her mother and places her hand on her exposed chest, she was unconscious but her body begins to glow a warm light of magenta as Arcadia performed Reiki. Her eyes turn magenta completely but she still shed tears,
'Mother please…." She begs her to open her eyes, her voice was slightly mutated due to the presence of power, 'I need you to open your eyes for me." She sobs on her and when the tears drop on her, she moans lightly, she jolts back with a smile on her face, 'mother!!" She was beyond happy.
But Mace and Loki had already been brought to their knees, tied like Christmas birds about to be killed, 'what's happening?!" Loki demanded to know but Xerxes doesn't say a word, he only exhumes his death bringer,
'You all planned this!!! Look at what you have done to my Queen even after she decided to spare you!!! You do not deserve mercy!!" He places the blade near Loki's head, Sheila is running down the stairs to see why they suddenly summoned her mate, she gasps as she saw his sword to her neck.
'No please!!" She runs as fast as her legs could carry her, with the length of his blade he was going to kill them both with a single swipe, 'father please!! Listen to me!!" But he couldn't hear her, the only thing he could hear was Octavia's pain, he was sure Czar took advantage of her and fled.
That was unpardonable, after everything she had been through she didn't deserve to be touched without her permission.
'Father no!!!" Arcadia and Sheila call our to him but he had raised his sword to the air, Loki held Mace's hand; if they die then they die together, 'stop!!!" Both women scream at him as they try to defend their mates but he was doing it either way.
His sword meets with a force field that Sheila and Arcadia has created, the energy had shot out of them and though it was normal for Arcadia, it wasn't for Sheila. It came as a result of the shock and since it was her first time doing such she was bound to feel weak, she drops her to her knees before laying unconscious on the floor.
'Sheila!!" His heart rate picked up as he saw her on the floor, 'we didn't know anything about Czar!! Please let us go!!" The hybrid in him begins to awake and the bondages are snapped like they were feeble sticks, he rushes to her and pulls her up to his body, 'Sheila!! Open your eyes!!! What happened to her?!" He was confused, she had never displayed magical essence before in her entire life.
Drama filled the whole castle after the escape of Czar, Sheila had fainted due to an expense of power and Arcadia stopped her dad from killing Mace. Octavia had regained consciousness but she was unable to speak due to weakness.
Sheila is rushed to her room and Azure is taking care of her while Loki looked for some sort of way to help her wake up again. He was running everywhere and Xerxes felt bad for what he had caused.
Azure kept stroking her hair, hoping she would wake up any moment,
'Sister, open your eyes," she wipes the tears from her eyes, she looks around to make sure no one was looking and she places her hand on her chest, her magenta energy glowing and flowing into Sheila's body, 'I promised mother I would protect you, please open your eyes." She pleads with her and her form begins to change, her black hair had turned magenta and her eyes were a deep pink.
She was performing Reiki on her sister, knowing that it was only a few moments before her sister woke up. But it was taking so long and she was starting to get scared. Sheila eyes open slowly to see a splitting image of her mother,
'Mother?" She reaches for the woman in front of her,
'Close your eyes, you're sleeping." It was the best lie she could tell her younger sister and she obeys, not letting go of her hand. She smiles with tears in her eyes but when she hears glass breaking she turns back abruptly, Loki was dropping things quiet easily but he had every right to do so.
Magenta eyes met with green ones,
'Azure?"
