'Master, may I be excused?" His sudden need to leave was a bit suspicious but Sativa knew what was up, 'I would take her back to her home to make sure she is safe, it won't be long." He hopes Mace lets him go and to his prayer he gives him the go ahead, he wasn't interested in listening to anything else she had to say.
He was too annoyed to even listen to her nonsense. The age must have made her crazy.
They walked back together and she could feel the smile on his face, 'you seem very happy boy, is it your lover?" She couldn't help the snort that came afterwards and it makes him blush,
'Mace might have issues with his love life but I'm very happy with mine," he says triumphantly as he had always been called the lover boy since little, he was a very emotional bad boy wolf, he opens the letter to be greeted by the scent of roses, it makes him go mad each and every time, 'I wonder what she had written this time around." He couldn't stop smiling.
'Then read it out." She smirks cheekily and he wondered why she wanted to hear what Sheila had written to him. But there was no harm in it since he trusted her, she was more or less the mother he never had.
'Dear Loki, it's been too long since we've seen each other, I wish for us to meet at the confluence of the rose woods….." He smiles as he read further,
'Meet me at midnight when the moon is full and make sure no one knows you are coming to see me, I miss you my lover wolf, your love, Sheila." Magenta eyes flash as she recited her love letter to her fellow female warriors,
'So can we say we would have a wedding soon?" One of them remarks and the whole crew cackles at Sheila, she blushes deeply and hopes it was so, it was the same reason why she wanted to see him; she was finally ready to marry him.
'Well you are just jealous that I'm in love and you're lonely!" She snaps her fan in front of her face to hide her embarrassment, but the women knew what the youngest was like; always getting excited when it came to the matters of the heart.
'Well we can't wait to find out mates too, since Sheila is leaving us behind I guess we better kick up ladies." Her best friend mocks her to no end, Sheila is so red she leaves before she explodes, 'were just joking!! You going to see Loki already?!" They laugh her to scorn.
'Azure is always making me so mad!!" She stomps her feet as she walked further, she was so embarrassed but it felt kind of nice, it had been so long since she saw him and she was dying to take him into her embrace. She needed to take in his scent once more.
Sheila was a rather short woman, with magenta hair and eyes, she held a bladed fan and her hair was always adorned with roses. Her high combat heels clicked quickly on the marble tiles of the palace and her aura spelt seduction, she was a well known Seductress but also a high class assassin.
She travels all the way down the long stairway looking for the person she had to report too, she had the job done and she needed her reward and probably some time off to herself.
She was grateful to her boss for picking her out of the woods and giving her food and shelter, she thought she would never have a better life but when she met her everything changed for the better. It hadn't even been up to a month but she felt a deep connection to her Master since they came from the same clan.
She sights her and takes a bow, going down on one knee,
'My Queen, the work has been done." She keeps her gaze to the floor as she saw the heels move closer to her. Arcadia raises her head to her gaze,
'I'm pleased to hear this darling, here is your reward." She takes out her golden hairpin and hands it to her, 'it should be more than enough to settle you." Her hair is let loose and she gifted her the pin,
'This is too much my queen, a few coins would have been enough for me, it was an easy job after all." A sinister smile comes to play and it excited Arcadia,
'I'm glad it was easy for you but nonetheless I have to make sure you're well taken care of, rise," she commands and she is obeyed, 'I want to show you something," she moved further and Sheila follows her slowly, 'you see all of this?" She points to her land, 'it is equally yours."
'Yes….. The late Queen sacrificed so much for us, our clan, my mother always told me her story since I was little, I wish I was fortunate to meet her before her passing." She stared at the rose gardens that had been planted around the palace, she removed the rose pin from her hair and admires the artwork, 'my Queen, I have a question?"
'You can always ask me anything." She opens the floor for her,
'What is your idea of a mate?" She needed to know as Loki had been the only thing on her mind since the past few days,
Arcadia thinks for a while, she needed to answer this question carefully, 'a man ready to protect, a man who is loyal and trustworthy, honest, a soldier, filled with immense love for his family and his nation. A man who values his other half." She ends it with that and she is satisfied with the answer she gave.
Sheila checks off everything from her list and it matches with Loki perfectly, she smiles to herself and takes a bow,
'Thank you so much my Queen, you have helped me, I would always be lots to you." She rededicated herself to her service, 'if there is anyone else you need erased from the world then I'm just one call away." She is also good at advertising herself, Arcadia laughs heartily,
'I wouldn't hesitate to call you and you know that. Do take care of yourself, you're free to stay in the palace if you do not feel like going home. It can be lonely sometimes." She shrugs slightly,
'I would love to help out with your Coronation, I think you need protection more than ever."
'That is fine Sheila, I have Asher with me, he is more than enough." Arcadia smiles sheepishly, she couldn't take her mind of the soldier and she had noticed that a lot,
'I see…..very well, I would still stay with you in case anything happens," she could see the love spelt on her face, 'allow me to take my leave." She bows her head before turning to take her leave.
Arcadia wondered why she was smiling so much when she mentioned Asher, wait, she mentioned Asher, she face palms herself so hard to it hurt, she needed to stop talking about him or people would think that they had a relationship.
But it would be nice to have a relationship.
