Chapter 61.

They finally arrived at their home and the whole crowd cheers for heir Queen, Mace and his Betas are put in bondage with chains and are made to walk with their heads bowed. They enter the palace in a grand style and their latest victory calls for a celebration,
'Father, mother," she addresses her parents, 'I wouldn't be who I am today without you, I don't know who I would have even been if I don't have you two by my side." She begins to test up and Sheila sniffs dramatically and leans on Asher while she cries. He rolls his eyes a her and listens to his lover, 'I'm proud to be your daughter and I would love to give you a gift for being the most amazing parents on the planet."
Everyone delivers a round of applause as Xerxes and Octavia blush like fools, they had never really gotten so much attention since Magnus was always stealing it. But he was dead anyway.
'We would be proud to receive whatever gift you give to us." She smiles at her daughter then at her people, 'Magnus before his demise dragged us into the mud, but with my daughter in the throne she has brought back into limelight, something he would have never done even if he was put as king till his death. I'm proud of you Arcadia." Her eyes smile at her,
'Now tell us, what gift shall you give us? A honeymoon trip?" His jokes earns a laugh, 'ice been itching to have one with your mother." He flirts with the Queen,
'Do you want me to best you in front of everyone?" And her response results in the women laughing him to scorn. He smirks and rubs the tip of his nose in embarrassment, 'tell me Arcadia, what I this gift?" Now she really wanted to know what her daughter had in plan.
'I shall give you, the head of the previous king of the South, alpha Mace's head!!" She announces and the whole crowd roars, 'he Shall be beheaded publicly tomorrow, I've decided to just kill him instead!!" The people cheer for their Queen and Xerxes Is pleased with the got but Octavia had mixed feelings about it.
She turns to Loki and sees the horror in his eyes, her heart shatters when she sees his eyes bleeding tears, no she wouldn't let Arcadia do this. She would have to find a way to let Mace live, even though she didn't want it to happen, Mace was Loki's only family, he would as well die if anything happens to Mace. And since he is the father of Sheila's baby then she cannot afford a child to be an orphan before it is even born.
She had to talk to Arcadia.
Asher is especially pleased that he listened to her, that means the time he spent with her dealt it's effect. And now he would never have to see Mace's ugly face again. Sheila was especially happy, she thought of it as punishment for what Loki did to her. But a part of her was also sad, she didn't want to see Loki in so much pain even though he had given it to her.
She was confused about the decision; she didn't know If she would be happy or sad. And the baby? Her resolve was firm, she would get rid of it and give an excuse from it. She would not carry his child after what he did to her, she would never forgive him for raising his spear at her.
'Master….it is over…" Czar was heartbroken with the decision that Arcadia had made, 'we have fallen into our own death, sage Sativa was right after all. No matter how hard we hit her, she will come back to double the damage. She must be blessed by the goddess, maybe that is why we cannot touch her."
'If you die, then I'm coming with you." Loki looked at his brother with remorse, 'I put all of us in this situation, Orla turned out to be Queen Octavia, she fooled me and took advantage of my emotions. And Sheila….." His eyes wander to her, 'there's no use since she belongs to Queen Arcadia, I'm sorry Mace, it's all my fault." His voice had broken and he was crying.
Mace moves closer to him and pecks him on the cheek, which Czar found very inappropriate,
'It doesn't matter what has happened, it has happened already, I'm glad I found you." Judging from his words it looked like he had lost hope of living again, 'you were my everything after mother and father passed away, and you'll be my all even after we die." They were mushy on each other, they had always been since childhood,
'So what happens to me here?" Czar wanted to know where he belonged in the circle of the guys,
'You're an idiot." They both insult him and he grunts at them before minding his own business, 'but we love you." Loki finishes and Czar couldn't help but blush a little,
'You're not bad for morons too." He did his best to pay a compliment as he avoided their gaze, they snicker at him and Octavia enjoyed the relationship they shared. It would be wrong to end something that had been for as long as the can remember. Even though they had done so many wrong things even the goddess gave second chances. She would tell Arcadia to do the same after the celebration.
'I will not mother!!" She straight out declines and Octavia's brows creases, 'you know the damage they have caused!! Why should be forgive them?"
'Because that is the duty of a Queen, to correct all wrong and not just punish. Arcadia listen to me, Mace had wronged you but he might have changed his ways. You have crushed his pride and I doubt if he would try to oppose you now that he realizes that he cannot defeat you. Dear please listen to me." She hoped her words reached her but Arcadia was as hard as stone, she was still angry about the losses she had and she didn't really believe she would forgive Mace so easily.
'Mother, there is no need begging me, I will not. Mace would be pronounced dead tomorrow after my blade goes through his head. You're rejecting my gift and making a big mistake mother!!" She storms out of the room,
'Arcadia wait!!" She runs after her daughter but she was walking so fast, 'Arcadia darling!! Try to understand what I'm saying, your actions are going to affect the innocent ones!!" She calls out, considering Sheila's child, 'Arcadia!!" She trips on her foot and she lands on the floor with a twisted ankle, 'Arcadia help!!"
She freezes and she turns back to see her in pain, 'mother?!!" She super-speeds to her and checks her ankle, 'how did this happen?!" The look of pain on her mother's face brought back bad feelings and she elt it was because they were talking about Mace that this happened, 'please, try to stand." She does her best to pull her up and her weight is dumped on her body, 'Conan!! Someone call Conan immediately!!" She orders as her mother limped beside her.
'Well she should not be running around since she isn't the spring chicken she was anymore." He laughs to himself as he applied ointment on her ankle, Octavia wanted to bury him some place far away fro making fun of her,
'Would she be alright? When would she be able to walk again?" She was panicking like her mother would not v able to stand again because she fell. She did agree that she was old and she needed more care.
'Relax my Queen, it's just a sprain, she would be up in a few days, as long as she isn't running anymore." He snickers to himself and Octavia's hand lands on his skull, 'ouch!!" He whines as he rubbed his scalp,
'Please make sure she is okay, I haven't go now to prepare the execution." Her blue orbs that once held a lot of love was hard with hatred for the one man that caused her so much pain. It felt like she had lost her daughter.
'Arcadia don't do this." She begs her but he does not say a word, she just leaves instead, and once she was gone, 'Conan dear, do me a favor, call my husband immediately, tell him it's urgent." The eagerness in her voice made Conan fly out at the speed of light to fetch Xerxes.
It's only a few minutes and he zooms into the room, his hair slightly messy, 'what is it my love? What happened to you?" He was worried about the bandage that was around her ankle.
'Forget me, you need to talk to Arcadia. She is going to kill Mace." She was scared to death, but Xerxes was confused to hell,
'And what is wrong with that?" He cocks his brow,
'If she kills him then she would be making a child an orphan."
