Chapter 40: The Unexpected Turn

Julia was kidnapped. It happened on her way to pick up Eddie. The person who kidnapped her was Tiffany, the one who had lost a small piece of her tongue.
Julia was thrown into an abandoned building by Tiffany's hired men. Tiffany, almost driven insane, approached Julia and slapped her in the face!
"You wretch!"
Her words were unclear due to the missing piece of her tongue. Tiffany had thought that losing a small part of her tongue was nothing. As long as she was still alive, anything would be fine. She had planned everything with plenty of money to spare, just in case.
But not long after she escaped from the hospital with her child, her child, who she thought they could rely on each other, died at the age of four and a half. The hospital claimed it was a heart disease relapse.
'A heart disease relapse?! My child was healthy, how could there be a heart disease?'
'Elio, it was all Elio's doing!'
She fully realized it.
Just because she had once lied to him, saying that their child had a heart disease, he had replaced their child's healthy heart with one that truly had a heart disease!
After losing her child, Tiffany completely lost her mind. She wanted everyone who wronged her to pay the price! She wanted to kill Julia! Kill that wretched woman's child! And kill Elio too! They all deserved to die! She wanted them to accompany her child in the afterlife!
"Now, call Elio and tell him to come!" Tiffany took out her phone and ordered Julia to dial Elio's number. Julia remained unaffected, her hands tied behind the chair, her cool eyes devoid of any emotion. Tiffany's anger reached its peak, and she screamed as she slapped Julia once again.
"Now! Right now! Call him, or I'll kill you immediately!"
"If you want to kill me, then do it now."
"Do you really want to die? Fine, I'll fulfill your wish!" Tiffany raised a knife and approached Julia with a murderous intent.
