Chapter 9: I Regret!

Since the day Elio left, he never appeared again.
Julia was trapped in this cold hospital room, not knowing the passing of days. She lay almost motionless,
The nearer to the due date, Julia became more and more uneasy.
She didn't know what she was upset about, and she didn't know why she was upset until she was pushed into the delivery room and gave birth.
Elio had no intention of keeping the baby alive!
He wanted her to have the baby only because he wanted her to see her son die.
"He's going to match the kid's heart!"
"No, you can't!"
Despite the severe pain in her body, Julia ran out of the ward like crazy.
"Do you know why Elio let you have that baby?"
"Because the child I gave birth to had a heart attack. He, ah, needed a heart."
Tiffany's smug laughter still echoed in her mind.
"I don't even know whether the child belongs to Elio or not, but it doesn't matter now. Elio doesn't seem to care at all.
Oh, I forgot to tell you, the kid didn't have a heart attack at all. I lied to Elio."
Bang--!
Frail, she fell to the ground!
The severe pain made her unable to stand up for a moment, and the people around her could not help but gasp when they saw it.
When someone was about to come forward, Elio appeared in front of her, condescending, looking coldly at the pale Julia lying on the ground.
"If you want to die, I will satisfy you."
There was no emotion in Elio's voice, not even a trace of pity in his dark eyes.
Julia looked up, and the moment she saw Elio, she endured severe pain and crawled towards him.
Until he grabbed his trouser leg.
"Please, spare my baby, spare him," she pleaded.
Elio frowned and tried to pull his leg back, but Julia clung to it as if it were the last straw.
"Let go!"
He spoke in disgust.
"I beg you," she almost choked with pain. "Let him go. Everything, I admit. If you want revenge, take revenge on me."
"He has died!"
He looked very upset, and he withdrew his leg coldly and said something that had been ripped out of his heart.
Everything seems to stand still.
"You lied to me," she said hoarsely, her red eyes locked on him, trying to find even the slightest bit of information about deceiving her from his expression, but nothing.
The kid's dead?
Did you die as soon as you came to this world when your birth?
No, it won't.
Elio just wants the kid's heart. He just wants the kid's heart, so on purpose.
With the last of his strength, Julia knelt down in front of Elio under Elio's tight brow.
She worked hard to support herself, angry, "I was wrong."
With a bang.
Her forehead slammed against the cold slate.
"I shouldn't have loved you. I admit it. You let him go."
The strong dizziness almost made her fall to the ground, and she scratched the floor tightly, her fingers fresh and straight.
It hurts.
All over the body, there is no place without pain.
But the heart hurts the most.
Boom--Intense dizziness almost caused her to collapse to the ground. She tightly grasped the floor, her fingers flowing with fresh blood.
Agony.
Every part of her body ached.
But it was her heart that hurt the most.
Thud.
Another sound resonated.
Her bloodied forehead touched the ground again, and she uttered a sense of relief, "Elio, I regret it."
Regretting everything, regretting falling in love with you.
What she didn't know was that as Elio saw her kneeling on the ground, unable to get up, his indifference and coldness vanished in an instant, replaced by rare panic and confusion.
"Julia, don't sleep! You, don't sleep!"
