CHAPTER 66 “SUSPICIONS”
"You arrived exactly at the right time, lunch is ready," Rowena said the same day before lunch and Jason delivered her to their house.
Astonishment quickly enveloped the young lady's mind when she saw that her mother was still smiling sweetly at Jason and so was the young man to her.
"Let me help you, Aunt Rowena," Jason offered.
"All right, son, come to the kitchen," her mother told Jason. "And you, Jenny, get dressed," her mother told her.
Jenny just nodded at what her mother said then she went to her room to get dressed.

“I really love Jenny, Aunt Rowena. What I just don't understand is how she really feels for me,” Jason let out a heavy sigh after telling Rowena the truth.
Yesterday, just like she told Jenny he called the woman. But he did so during the hours when the young lady was sound asleep. He didn't want her to hear everything he wanted to say to her own mother.
During that conversation, he admitted to Rowena himself how much he loved Jenny. And he was ready to stand up for everything that happened to them. He will marry her and give her a beautiful and happy family.
Nervousness was normal and he knew it. So yesterday he seemed unable to say or explain how intense the nervousness he was feeling. But all that quickly disappeared when Rowena told him that she believed in him and that she had no other man to trust for her daughter but him.
"Give her a little more time, son, I know Jenny loves you too, she's just afraid to try again because when you separated it wasn't a joke what she experienced. All the hardship and pain," she explained then she smiled sweetly.
Jason just nodded understandingly. He opened his mouth to speak but he couldn't say what else he wanted to say because of Jenny's sudden exit from the kitchen.
"Is there a problem?" instead he asked when the young lady approached the table.
That was when Jenny stared at him. Her face looks so worried. "M-Miriam called me," she told him.
“M-Miriam? Isn't she ---?”
Jenny nodded.
"What did she tell you?" he asked again.
"R-Ryan said he had an accident," the young lady replied.
*****
"C-Can you go with me?" that was Jenny's hesitant question to the young man who was staring into her face at those moments.
"Of course, no problem," he replied, still smiling at her.
"W-What does he look like? I mean, his condition?" it was her mother.
"Comatose," she replied.
A moment of silence enveloped the table before her mother spoke again. “Eat first. All right, and please sweetie, I know what you're thinking. It wasn't your fault so don't blame yourself,” her mother reminded her.
It was then that Jenny forced a smile on her mother and then she started eating quietly.
"Are you okay?" Jason when they were already inside his car to go to the hospital where Ryan was admitted.
A strained smile tore from her lips and then shook her head. “W-What if, you know... What if he dies? D-Does that mean it's all my fault? ” she asked the young man.
“No, of course not. What happened to him was an accident. So you shouldn't be blaming yourself, ”Jason said holding her hand and then squeezing it gently.
"But Jason, I can't help feeling guilty," she admitted.
“That's normal, but you shouldn't be thinking that it's your fault. You are not at fault and all you have to do is pray for his recovery,” Jason explained to her
Jenny nodded then smiled.
“Let’s go?” Jason asked her.
“Okay,” she said. "Wait, I really want to ask you something," when she remembered something, she thought of saying and asking away.
“Yeah? What is that?" Jason even moved his thick and beautiful eyebrows.
Jenny couldn't help but smile because of what the young man had done. It's because he looks cute, so in the end, she giggled because of the thrill.
“Did my mother talk to you? I mean, it's just amazing because she seemed to have a very normal reaction when we arrived while I stayed overnight at your house, and then she knew about our past, didn't she?” in a flash Jenny had to admit that her mood lightened especially when she saw there a reflection of a very beautiful smile on the lips of the very handsome man in front of her.
He just shrugged his shoulders but his eyes still had a strange radiance that could surprisingly bring strange happiness to her heart.
"Jason?" she whispered to the young man as he just kept smiling at her.
Then Jason bowed to her and then pressed a kiss to her lips. "I miss you already," he said meaningfully.
Her face quickly flushed at Jenny as she got what Jason meant by what he said.
"You're really naughty!" she said pinching him on the side.
At that point, Jason immediately took her hand and then kissed it. "But you were different this morning, do you know that?" he said in an almost whispered tone.
Jenny's face grew even hotter at what the young man said. She didn't know if it was just the tone of his speech that affected her or did it include the fact that even she couldn't believe what she had done this morning?
*****
"C-Can we just be there in the room?" that was her breathless question to the young man after a while that he was able to bring her back to glory.
The young man's eyes twinkled at what she said. "I know what you're thinking," he said pinching the bridge of her nose afterward.
Jenny's face flushed profusely at what the young man said. “P-Please? I just want to try,” she admitted while ignoring the intense redness on her face.
"Okay," Jason replied then bent down and kissed her.
At that point, Jenny freely wrapped not only her hands but also her two legs around Jason's waist. As the young man remained inside her when he lifted her out of the bathroom.
The soft bed Jenny felt caught behind her shortly after that. And what happened next was the two of them rolling over the bed so she just found herself riding on Jason.
