Chapter 20

I came out with a cup of coffee and met him sitting comfortably on the dining chair. 
"Here it is Sir".

"Thank you", he said. 
"Can you just call me Frederick", I heard him break the silence in the room?

"Okay, Mr. Frederick", I answered.

"Without the Mr, please", he answered.

"I'll do my best", I said.

"Can you tell Lois to get the car ready, I am almost done", he said.

I stood up and swayed my hips out of his presence. 

"Hey Lois, good morning", I called out to him.

"Good morning Kharis", he said and came close to me. 

He planted a kiss on my cheek and asked if my night was splendid. Immediately, my mind drifted to last night and this morning. A smile formed on my lips and I muttered, "my night was indeed splendid. I had an amazing dream".

"Anyways, Frederick asked…I was about to complete the sentence when Lois interrupted me.

"Oh, Frederick! You call the boss by his name now", he said.

"Uhm no, that's just because he is not here", I answered. But I don't think Lois was comfortable with that answer, he had a suspicious look on his face.

"The boss asked that you prepare the car", I said and walked back inside.

I was looking backward to see if Lois was following me then I bumped into Frederick. Oh yes, his purse fell to the ground, exactly like what you see in the movies.

I felt embarrassed for acting so clumsy so I bent to help him pick it up and he bent too. 

He looked at my lips and didn't even hesitate to kiss me intensely. He was so hungry for him. Then, I felt tender hands squeezing my boobs through my clothes. He left my boobs and put his hand slowly into my dress till he got to my boobs. 

The moment he felt my boobs, he uttered "I want you"...

I withdrew from him and stood on my feet. 
"Lois is waiting for you, Sir"

He groaned and said "I have a business gala in two days. Use my credit card to get a dress for yourself. You and Lois would accompany me."

I watched him walk away till he was no longer visible. I walked back to the dining table and continued with the sandwich. What kind of dress would I get?, I asked myself.

I thought of something simple and not revealing but mind-blowing. After eating, I tidied the kitchen and vacuumed the entire mansion. I started with the kitchen, parlor and ended with my bedroom.

By the time I was done, I could barely go grocery shopping. I decided to rest and set my alarm for 40 minutes. The last thing I thought about before falling asleep was the business gala and how I would look. My goal was to drive Frederick crazy with my appearance. 

Thankfully, I listened to my alarm when it beeped. I got up and prepared to go to the mall. Before leaving, I made a list of everything I needed to get. I assumed Frederick had enough money to cater for these things.

At the mall, I met Kiel and a lady. Kiel is the fine man that gave me a lift back home on the night I had less transportation. He was the first to recognize me.

"Hello dear", he said while walking up to me. He had a wide smile on his face, I could see his perfect dentition. 

"Good afternoon", I greeted.

"I'm sorry for not calling after you gave me your number", he said and released a smile.

I became annoyed by this statement and just looked at him.

"I'm in a hurry, I said and walked away immediately without waiting for him to utter another word.

All these rich and young men expect women to be at their beck and call. I wasn't expecting him to even reach out to him. He sounded as though I was disappointed, I wasn't, even one bit.

I decided to stop thinking about Kiel. I picked out sardines, soy sauce,...

I went to the clothing session and I was in awe of the beautiful and expensive dresses I saw.

"Good afternoon", I said to one of the salespeople at the store.

"Welcome to our store! How can I help you, ma'am? She questioned with a smile.

"Can you help me find a dress that is simple, decent but sexy", I asked her.

"Of course ma, have a seat please", she answered.

In less than 10 minutes, she dresses that were perfect for my size. I tried each of them till I found a dress I was totally satisfied with.

The dress was black so it complimented my skin. My cleavage was not excessively obvious in the dress, it only showed a little part. The dress was a little bit below my knee but had a slit that ran all through to my mid-thigh. It was long-sleeved and perfect.

I didn't have shoes to go with the dress. I decided to pick a cute and cheap pencil glass heel shoe to match with the dress. I felt satisfied and left the store. I didn't have to do too much for the business gala, I was merely a maid.

I took a cab back home and listened to music while on my way. Immediately I got home, I arranged everything I bought for the kitchen in its appropriate place. I took one look at the dress and smiled to myself.

I got bored and didn't even know when I slept off.

Frederick POV
I was scared of falling for Kharis. It didn't just seem right because of my engagement to Kharis. I needed the woman that made me feel so alive. I lay on the bed till I heard a knock. I stood up reluctantly and went to the door.

I met Kharis at my door dressed in a top that revealed the shape and size of her breasts. She wore jeans trousers that didn't hide her curves for a second.

She stammered…
"Goo goo good morning sir. Please what would you have for breakfast"

I smirked at her stammering. I bet I was too hot to handle and take in. 
"You. I want you for breakfast. You, Kharis", I said.

She looked at me and didn't say anything for up to a minute. Then I heard her say, "The fridge is empty, I'd like to do the grocery shopping today".

I raised my finger to excuse myself and went to my cupboard to bring a credit card for her. I wanted her to go grocery shopping with the card.

"How about breakfast, what can I prepare for you?"She then asked after collecting the card.

"A cup of coffee would do", I answered. I wasn't hungry for food at that moment, I wanted to eat something different and that was Kharis.

She looked at me for a while before walking away. She turned to stare at me again while walking down the stairs. I couldn't help but smile.

I shut the door and started preparing for work.
