Chapter 14
❤️❤️ Separate Ways (Part 14) ❤️❤️
She has no idea why her mother had given her the half necklace. She even didn't know that the necklace was two, probably the two necklaces together will complete its wholeness.
"Keep this safe with you Juno, always. Protect it with all your life and do not let it fall into the hands of any person." her mother's words still lingers around her as she remembers that fateful day.
She had given Rumi the necklace to give to Storm because she believes he would forgive her. And now that there are two of them, she didn't mind giving Storm one of the half necklace.
Sighing, she dropped the necklace back into one of her boots and sat on the bed, waiting for Rumi's return.

Emperor's Palace:
"I won't lose it Rumi," Storm promised. "Besides, I can't lose such a beautiful gift. Thank you." he added covering the diamond with his palm. "I will keep it safe."
"How is your cheek?" Rumi asked.
"Good, it will heal with time. Thank you for coming to see me." Storm told her. "What about yours, hope your wounds are healing?"
"Yes, they will heal, gradually," Rumi said and smiled. "Can I hug you at least for once since you are leaving and I don't know when you are coming back."
"Sure," Storm said. He needs to stop talking because his cheek hurt from moving his lips but he didn't. She came all the way to see him and even gave him a gift. He will be coming back to repay Juno in her own coin.
Rumi didn't waste any more time, she quickly closed the distance between them and pulled him to a gentle hug, careful not to hurt his wounds. Storm on his own part was careful not to touch her wound.
'Oh Storm, I like you a lot; a whole lot. The first day I set my eyes I have decided you are mine. You are going to be mine and no one can take that spot. I will be your backbone storm.' Rumi thought to herself and she released her hold on him. Staring into his eyes as he locked his eyes with hers. Then she leaned forward and brushed her lips on his, a slight touch that widened Storm's eyes.
"I will be waiting for your return." Rumi told him as she started to leave the room. "I have marked you as my forever Storm. I will not pity anyone that will come between us." she added, turning slightly to face Storm and smiled when she saw his confusion. "Goodbye Storm," she said with a shrug and left the room.
Once outside, she pretended again and her guard carried her in his arms.
"Take her home safely Ralf, I and the Emperor are still discussing. I will be back or not. it depends," Warlord Emera said to Rumi when they saw them coming out of the building.
Rumi smiled brightly and waved one of her hands as a goodbye to them as she and the guard left the house with her horse.
"So as we are discussing, out of the ten warriors that will be going with my son, some of my Ninja's will also join them." Emperor Ariadne told him.
"But what about you, your highness, your life also matters."
"My son's life matters too. I am a strong fighter you've forgotten so soon and that is why I still last long on my throne against my brother and other enemies. Not all Ninja's will be following. I have ten so five will go with him and that will be making it a total of fifteen people going with him."
"So where are you taking him?"
"To the Garden of Edenis."
"You are taking him to your Master's?" Warlord Emera asked in surprise.
Garden of Edenis is no man's joke and was hidden away from every eye.
"Yes, he will be safe there."
"How do you know he will be safe there? You ran away from Garden of Edenis barely a year you went there, and you want a young child like Storm to live there his whole life? You know how your master is. His ways of training are dangerous, far too dangerous my friend. You are living testimony and you said so yourself. Your brother even stayed a year and a month in the Garden of Edenis before he returned too."
"I stayed there a year and became very skilled with my sword and in martial arts. I don't know what changed my brother after he left the Garden of Edenis," Emperor Ariadne said as he shook his head sadly. "Anyway, I personally trained those Ninja's and no one can hurt me so it has been decided. Storm is going there and that is final."
"If you are sure then who am I to argue with you," Warlord Emera said.
"Good, you are not leaving here tonight. You will spend the night here. Tomorrow I will like you to have a word with your warriors and I will have a word with my Ninja's."
Warlord Emera did not say anything. He only nodded his head. He wasn't worried about his two daughters. Juno can take care of herself and sister too.

Warlord Emera House:
Juno jumped to her feet once she heard the neigh of a horse. She knew immediately it was Rumi.
She left her room and stood at the passageway; the candles lit on the wall brighten up the entire passage.
Rumi walked inside and smiled when she saw Juno.
"How was it? Did he accept it? What did he say? Has he forgiven me?" Juno rushed out her questions as she walked towards her. She hoped Rumi's journey was positive and not negative.
She helped Rumi to the room where she sleeps and Rumi sat down on the bed.
"I d-id as y-ou sa-id a-nd gue-ss wh-at?"
"What Rumi. You and I know I am not so good at guessing so just tell me already."
"Ok-ay. H-e h-as for-giv-en yo-u Ju-no an-d he pro-mis-ed to lo-ok af-ter th-e nec-kla-ce. H-e lik-es i-t b-y th-e wa-y."
Juno screams in joy as she run around the room throwing her hand up. In her joy she didn't even remember the other half necklace.
"Thank you much Rumi. What will I have done without you," Juno said with a smile. "You made it possible, Rumi, thank you."
"I ta-lked se-nse in-to hi-m a-nd h-e be-liev-es th-at yo-u a-re n-ot t-he o-ne t-hat d-id it," Rumi said. "So h-e sai-d he wa-nts to me-et you. I wi-ll ta-ke y-ou th-ere ve-ry early tom-orr-ow mor-ning." she added with a smile.
"Okay Rumi. Let me catch some sleep. Good night Rumi."
Rumi watched as Juno left her room and her smile grew coldly.
"I am too good," she praised herself.
Tomorrow will be the last time Juno will ever see the sunrise.
