❤️ A Man Called Storm (Part 35) ❤️
Rumi still couldn't believe the new change of event that happened to her a few minutes ago. She was rendered speechless for a minute and then gave out a short smile afterwards.
"Does it mean that Juno has magic just like me?" she asked aloud to herself. Making sure to lower her voice so that the guards in the room won't hear her. "But that's impossible, Emera doesn't have a single magic in him and neither does Juno's late mother, unless whoever helped her taught her some few tricks in magic, or is there something I am missing?"
Rumi stood up from the ground she sat on and left the bathroom. She noticed an additional person in the room who was rubbing something on Emera's body.
"Who is he?" she asked.
"He is the healer my Lady," one of the servants replied.
"Oh, greetings to you," she greeted the healer who nodded his head to acknowledge her greetings and carried on with his work. She turned her back when the male servants started removing every layer of clothes on Emera's body.
The healer was an old man whose old expert hands tried to heal the wounds on Emera with his magic herbs and whatever he was doing put Emera to sleep. He applied all over the body of Emera. Once he was done he told the servants to cover the body of Emera which they did and they left the room leaving the healer and Rumi.
Storm entered the room and went over to stand beside the bed of Emera, he smiled a little when he saw Emera sleeping before turning his whole attention to the healer.
"I have tried all I can, my Lord, once he wakes up the pain would have reduced." the healer told him.
"Okay, what else?"
"There are some old wounds on his body, it seems he is addicted to injuring himself. I don't know why but please keep an eye on him."
"I will," Storm said, "Whoever that was paying you before for your services to the palace, go and meet him or her and tell them to pay you." he added.
"I will my Lord," the healer said and packed his things and left the room.
Once the healer was gone, Storm gazed at Rumi.
"What old wounds was the healer referring to?" he asked her with raised brows.
"Oh Storm," Rumi began to say, going to meet him to touch him but as soon as she raised her hand to touch his chest,  Storm moved out of her reach and frowned a bit.
"I asked you a question Rumi and not for you to touch me," Storm said. "What wounds was the healer referring to?" he repeated his question again.
Heaving out loud bringing down her hand and facing Emera. "He drinks a lot and gets into trouble with people, he owes people a lot of money from the strong wine he takes everyday and or after they had brought him to me. Or he was abandoned in a traven, or I saw him on the roadside and sometimes he ended up being badly beaten.`` She lied.
"And all these was going on and you didn't make any attempt to report to my father?" Storm asked in disbelief.
"I did once, but that was when your father was very sick and Empress Rose promised she would look into it which she didn't of course. So I attend to his wounds." Rumi lied again. She was sure Strom wouldn't ask Empress Rose. The woman wouldn't even reply to Storm when he asked her.
"Okay, that is a fair point," Storm said, which earned a smile from Rumi. "So where did you get the money to pay for his debts?"
"He has enough savings so that was what has been sustaining us since these past years," Rumi said to him. She wasn't lying about that aspect. Thankfully she knew where he had kept all his mom before she turned him into a drunker, a completely useless man. In Emera's eyes they were poor.
Storm turned to leave the room when Rumi's voice stopped him. "Storm, I want to ask you a question."
"What question?" he ask as his back faces her.
Walking over so that she was standing in front of him. She was close to him but was not touching him.
"Why?"
"Why what Rumi?"  Storm asked.
"Why don't you like me?" Rumi asked. "You know I love you and don't give me that surprise look Storm, I know you do."
"Seriously Rumi, are we having this conversation now?"
"Yes, if I want to lay my hands on you or hug you, you tell me not to. Do I disgust you Storm or am I not beautiful enough for you?"
"Rumi, I told you that I don't like being touched. It's not my problem, it's your problem for still trying to. I don't see you the way you see me. I only see you as Juno's step sister, that's all, so what you are asking of me is impossible."
"I love you Storm. Can't you see that in my eyes. I am in love with you," Rumi said with hopeful eyes which were fixed on Storm.
"But I am not in love with you. I am not that kind of man that would fall in love. Love is not in me Rumi and even if I want to fall in love, not with you. You deserve more."
"I deserve you Storm."
"Let me get this straight to you, remove any thoughts of us from your head because even if I am being blindfolded and torture to love you, I won't love you."
"Why? Is there something you don't like about me?"
"Rumi you are beautiful and you will see a man who will adore you and I am not that man."
"But I want you Storm, only you. And listen to me, if I can't have you, no one else can," Rumi threatened.
Storm smiled. "Too bad, there is no one else," he said and left the room. Soon four guards walked into the room.
"Our Emperor asked us to keep an eye on him," one of the guards said as he saw the confused stares Rumi was giving them. "And he said that you should leave this room immediately."
"What?"
"Yes My Lady. He said you should go home and bring Lord Emera clothes."
Rumi grinned and silently left the room.
It's time to take matters into her own hands. No more waiting for Storm to love her.

Kudarma Kingdom:
Adaoh Prison:
"What do you see?"
Opening her eyes. "Nothing Dean, nothing."
"How can you tell me nothing!" he shouted and started pacing around in the room. "His picture is in my head and you can't see it?" he asked with a very calm voice.
"No, I just told you I saw nothing. It seems whoever you saw made it possible for only you to know him."
"But you are a strong witch, why can't you just a simple thing Adaoh."
"And what are you? Are you not a god? Why can't you remember the conversation you had with this person." Adaoh fired back.
"Adaoh I need answers, who is he?"
"How can I know who he is when I don't even know what he looks like."
"Sometimes, I hate you," Dean said as he stops to glare heatedly at Adaoh
"The feelings are mutual Dean." Adaoh's returned her own harden glare.
"I will find out for myself," Dean said, finally diverting his eyes from hers. He left her.
Adaoh rolled her eyes at the spot Dean was standing before closing her eyes to pray for the safety of Juno.

Ashland Kingdom:
Emperor Palace:
Gwen who was in the kitchen waiting for the palace cook to put finish with whatever she was cooking.
Soon enough the cook was done and Gwen brought her own plate to receive her own portion of food.
"Thank you." She thanked the cook and carried her plate out of the kitchen.
On the way she met Morgan and ignored him, she was in a hurry and walk-run past him but before she could go far, Morgan was blocking her, standing in her front.
"Didn't you see me?" Morgan asked in an angry voice. "Don't you know you will have to greet and knee before a Prince."
"No, the wall was too high for me to see you," Gwen said. "You have to excuse me Prince Morgan, I'm in a hurry."
"Haste? So it was hunger who blinded you from seeing me. I bet you have never eaten this type of food before, even your father can never afford it."
"I am not the one eating it, I am taking the food to the prisoners," Gwen said coldly and ran before Morgan could see how much his words hurt her.
Why couldn't she hit him?
Gwen thought to herself as she tried not to cry. If it was someone else she could have fried his or her brain for involving her late father. She couldn't bear to hurt someone she loves.
Why did her heart choose Morgan of all people? Why him? She understands that what she has with Storm was merely an infatuation that changes when she first sees Morgan. Even though he was rude to her and Storm, she couldn't help but fall for him. Even though his words are hurting her like now, she still loves him.
Approaching the prison, she ignored the guards and entered the prison house. She saw Kando sleeping and went over to his cell.
"And here I thought you were bringing me the food not knowing it's for your lover boy." Kira's voice sounded behind her.
"Hey wake up sleepy head, I brought you food," Gwen said ignoring the lady in the prison behind her. She removed one of her boots and threw it hard on Kando.
Kando stirred and groaned before opening his eyes and grabbing the boot that had woken him up. His angry eyes softened when he saw Gwen.
"Give me back my boot," Gwen said. "I brought you food," she added, pushing the plate inside Kando's prison.
"I think I will keep your boots beautiful," Kando said and stretched his neck. He didn't see Kira's food. "You didn't bring hers?"
"He will bring her food."
Standing up and closing the distance between them, ignoring his food.
"Do you know how beautiful you look? I have never met or seen a girl with such beauty before," Kando said and Gwen blushed a little.
She wished it was Morgan who was telling her this.
"So I'm beautiful?"
"Yes, very," Kando said, earning a loud snort from Kira. He stretches forth one of his hands and touches Gwen's face. He sighs in bliss. He couldn't wait to see what her clothes were covering. "Do you know what I would do to you if we were alone in a room? I would make sure you are always naked and you never leave my bed."
Gwen opened her mouth to say something but a much angry familiar voice beat her to it.
"That will never happen and you will never see her," Morgan said and went to drag Gwen away from Kando. "You've given him food, now let's get out of here." He didn't wait for Gwen to speak, he started walking away.
"I will see you soon sexy." Kando called out. "Your boot is still with me so we are definitely seeing each other again."
"I will be coming back for my-"
"Don't you dare complete that words." Morgan interrupted her and was in time to stop himself from turning around to fight Kando again. His teeth clenched tightly together.
As soon as they were out, they saw Storm coming with a plate of food.
