Rumi came out slowly from the ground and opened her eyes, she stood up from the floor and went to sit on the bed. Her face filled with thinking.
There is something off about Sarah that is bugging her. It seems to her that Sarah was hiding something from her.
She had lived in that cave. Sarah was imprisoned when she was little. At the age of six, she realized that she has no freedom to move around, Sarah feeds her, clothes her and teaches her spells upon spells everyday. She grew tired of it and told Sarah she wanted to see the outside world besides the cave she was in.
Sarah agreed and took her out of the cave for the first time in her life. And then Sarah took her to see her father. They were hidden in the shadows and weren't seen by the happy family.
She could still remember the conversation she and Sarah had like the back of her palm.
"Who are they and why are we here, mother?" she asked Sarah, chewing on her bottom lip as she stared at the family in jealousy. Why can't she be living in this beautiful house instead of that cave?
"That's your father," Sarah said, pointing an accusing finger at Warlord Emera who was seen teaching his young daughter how to fight while his wife watches with a large smile on her lips.
"What? He is my father, then who is the young girl with him?"
"She is your half sister Rumiana. That woman," Sarah pointed at Grace. "Stole your father from me and take over my position. Your father threw you and I away and took her in with his right senses. I am going to make him pay." she added with an icy stare. "Your father rejected you and denied you all because of that woman. That girl took away your position Rumi, you must make her pay for taking away your rightful position. We are living in the cave because of that woman."
Rumi looks at the family once again and her heart hardens. Why will her father reject her and her mother? Even if her father hates her mother, why will she also be punished by him? Why? Why her? She did no wrong to him for him to reject her.
"I see, take me back home mother, I promise you I will make them pay, all of them. I am going to be paying attention now to all your teachings," little Rumi said with clenched jaw. She was going to live in this beautiful house, she promised herself.
Sarah smiled to herself and they left.
Rumi kept to her words and learned everything before imprisoning her mother and went in search of her father pretending to be an orphan. At least her mother should be happy that she was doing her work for her.
"At least I get to live in this house like I promised myself and I am tired of living in this house. I want to live in the palace, with Storm right beside me as my husband. And I promise, it will happen." She told herself.
I always get what I want.

Emperor Dean's Palace:
"You are joking, right?" Kira wrinkled her nose in confusion.
"No, I am serious Kira, you needed the truth and well, that is the truth," Dean said to her.
"I don't understand, do you mean to say Adaoh is truly, I mean, really a dwarf?"
"That's what I said," Dean said with raised eyebrows.
"Then, Phoenix and Sarah are not human, they are not like us, right?" Kira asked with a quizzical smile.
"Point of correction my love, like you not like me. I am now like them and soon, you shall be like me," Dean said, his eyes crinkled at the corners.
"She is a dwarf and a witch too?"
"Yeah, she is from the Royal lineage so yes all Dwarfs that are Royalties have their own special powers. Dwarfs are strong, very strong in strength but Adaoh has half of that strength because her father wasn't a dwarf. Dwarfs are beautiful, very beautiful but the only fault they have is their height." Dean told her 
"Well I don't think Adaoh has the half strength if not this palace would have been shaking."
"The chain around her neck can't allow her to do that because it weaken her dwarf strength."
"I see, let me guess, Sarah did that too?"
"Yes,"
"Hmmm, I am beginning to wonder if you are truly in love with Phoenix or with Sarah since that one always does your bidding or perhaps, you are in love with the three women." Kira teased him.
Leaning into her personal space with a curled upper lip. "Don't say that Kira, I don't fall in love that easily, I fell in love with Phoenix but she didn't return my love which has already died in me, and now, I am madly in love with you and there is no one else in my heart apart from you. Do you understand? Don't ever doubt the love that I have for you. I am in love with you and not with anyone else," Dean said to her and then kissed her and then lifted her up, Kira lifting up and putting her legs around Dean's waist as they deepened their kiss.
They broke apart away from their faces and smile at each other.
"So when am I leaving for Ashland?"
"Tomorrow, but you won't be going alone."
