❤️ A Man Called Storm (Part 26) ❤️
"You are right, mother," Morgan finally said. For now he wants Storm out of his way and life. "So how are we going to get him out of our way when he has father's ability?"
"I told you we are going to use Elliot to do that. He is your sister's husband after all so he is going to agree to get rid of this stubborn pest for us and don't forget he is also friends with your uncle."
"So when are you telling him?"
"I will be sending him a message tod-" she stopped when they both heard the sound of the bell. "The bell....."
"We are under attack, mother. I told you Storm has something up his sleeves. He didn't come here for father's burial but to kill all of us," Morgan said.
"Let's go and check what's happening?" Empress Rose said and made to move then stop, "You go on I will meet you later."
"Are you afraid?"
"No, I just remember I haven't applied my make-up yet and changed my night dress into something presentable. Even though I will die I will need to look more presentable in the eyes of others." Empress Rose replied to her son.
Rolling his eyes, he left her room and started walking towards the door that would lead to outside when he stopped and walked back to meet the guards in front of his mother's door and collected one of the guard's swords.
"All you guards know how to do is eat and drink and at the end of the Moon we pay you lazy bones. Nonsense."
When Morgan came out, it was also at the same time Storm came out. Warlord Marcus was standing not too far from them. Morgan, Fred and Storm stood side by side watching the guards dragging the Intruders towards them but they stopped once they reached Warlord Marcus side. The guards were much so none of them could see the Intruders.
"My Lord we have subdued the two Intruders who had dared enter the palace," one of the guards said to Warlord Marcus.
"Just two Intruders and all the guards came out to fight? What a shame," Storm said and walked towards Marcus. He placed his hands on his waist and breathed in, staring at heaven. "Only four of you should stay and hold the Intruders, the rest of you should go and clean up everywhere, now!" he yelled out the last part as they started doing as he ordered. The four guards remaining all brought their swords towards their necks, two on each off their neck. They were on their knees.
"Is that how you address your subjects? Looking up in the sky? What are you expecting from it? Coins?" the taunting voice of Kira made Storm look angrily at her but he froze when he saw her.
Impossible.
Impossible.
Very Impossible. He was told she was dead so was this her ghost? Or was Rumi lying to him? This is Juno in flesh and blood. He could never forget her blue hair nor her brown eyes which were staring at right back at him in anger.
"Stop staring at me weirdo," Kira said. She hates it when she is being stared at, most especially when it is coming from someone she just met. If not that they were pretending to have been defeated, she would have plucked out his eyes with her bare hands.
"I know you," Storm said slowly. His eyes never leave hers. "I easily don't forget faces."
"Well good luck with that."
"Kill them," Morgan's voice was heard as he closed the distance between them.
"I command Morgan and not you. I will decide what to do with them and for goodness sake don't you remember who she is?"
"I do and if I remember correctly we hardly talked so? And one last thing, you don't do the commanding bas.ta.rd,"
"Do you know why they are here? Who sent them? We need to question them before their death wise one,"
"What's going on?" Gwen asked as she joined them. She went to stand next to Morgan who shifted away from her as if she was smelling. But it didn't escape his notice that she had freshened up. Gwen pretends as if she didn't notice and stares at the two people kneeling down. "Did they try to attack you, Storm?" she asked worriedly. When Storm didn't answer, she noticed him staring at the blue-haired girl, in anger. Both were staring at each other with clenched jaws. Gwen repeated her question again.
"No, but they will need to be questioned. Take them to where you keep your prisoner." Storm ordered the guards.
Gwen whose attention was wholly on Storm and the blue-haired girl didn't notice the lustful stare of Kando- who has been quiet since- on her. The only person who had noticed it was Morgan.
It angers him. He did not like the way this prisoner was staring at Gwen. He didn't know when he moved closer to her, covering her with his body.
"What are you staring at?" he said with clenched teeth. His question paused the guards and brought the rest attention to him except for Storm who seems to be in a staring competition with Kira.
Gwen saw Morgan standing right in front of her, his back facing her and pushed him out from her front.
"Well she is beautiful, I couldn't resist," Kando said as his eyes slowly moved from Gwen's head to her toes. "Beautiful."
Gwen chuckled lightly which irritated Morgan.
What's so funny about what this buffalo had said?
"Take them away. Now fools!!"
The guards quickly pushed Kando and Kira up to their feet. That was the only time Kira blinked her eyes and allowed them to push her forward.
Kando wasn't done yet as he made sure he missed one of his steps and accidentally fell on Morgan who steady himself and grabbed hold of Kando. At that moment Kando whispered into Morgan's ears.
"I was also thinking of how beautiful her face would look like when I am thrusting inside her and making her scream out my nam-"
Morgan lost his cool.
